Upon pulling in, my friend and I didn't quite know what we were driving up to since it's tucked a way a bit and you have to drive into the yacht club through a security gate, but once we arrived at the restaurant and were easily able to get an outdoor seat (we were there on a Thursday night) and take in the water and yacht views, we were SOLD. We were also there for live music, which just added to the overall experience. We had Grace as our server, who also really added to the entire experience. She was so knowledgeable about the menu and about allergies - my friend is allergic to wheat, so she was really careful to inform us about areas where they used the same fryer for items. She really embodied a spirit of great hospitality throughout our time there. The food was also DELICIOUS. We started with the Brussels sprouts which we both said were the best we've ever had - if you're a fan, ORDER THEM! They're absolutely incredible and hugely portioned. We also got the guac which was really fresh and delicious. For a main, I had the blackened fish sandwich, which I am still DREAMING of. It was absolutely delicious and something I hope never comes off the menu because I would order this EVERY single time I came back. My friend got the Silver Lining salad which was hugely portioned. They also have a ton of cocktails as well as mocktails available with different special offers each night (e.g., Thursday when we were there was Martinis & Oysters night, with $11 Grey Goose martinis and $2.50 oysters from 4 PM on). Did brunch here on Valentine's Day. The moment we walked in we walked in we were warmly greeted and given a rose. Although our server wasn't able to greet us right away, another sever did which shows team work. Our service all around was very good. Even down to the parking attendant. I I was nervous about the food due to mixed reviews but I enjoyed the hot honey pepperoni flatbread and my wasabi Cesar salad although I do wish it was actually spicy. YOT is a restaurant in Fort Lauderdale, kind of hidden between businesses and a marina. Thankfully, we were able to find self-parking because it seemed like there was only valet. There's indoor and outdoor seating. Our party of six sat inside. The acoustics inside are a bit loud, but still pleasant. For appetizer we had the fig flatbread, it was so delicious. I had the Silver Lining Salad, which was also delicious and very filling. They have a bottomless drink menu during brunch, I did not have it but some friends did and they all enjoyed it. I am surprised I haven't heard of YOT before being invited to a friend's birthday brunch. It was a little confusing to get to but the yacht marina is a beautiful spot for brunching. We were out on the covered bar deck surrounded by huge yachts, the kind too big to dock in back of your house. It was a sunny day, and as the sunshine started hitting our table, friends started switching seats. By the time we were finished we were all basically sitting and standing on the east side of the table. Lesson learned, next time we will request a table on the east side of the bar, if possible! Food was super slow to come out, but our friendly server Tyler (I hope that's his name) kept our table well served with our unlimited cocktails. I was surprised he could remember our party of 12 drink orders. Food was good, but nothing special. Jerk Wings were tasty apps. My Blackened Fish Sandwich was cooked right and not dry. A friend liked his Chicken & Waffles. Plating was more like dumping food on the plate, not much finesse as expected for the venue. It's a bit pricy with the 2-hour (we went over this) Glass Bottomless costing more than the food entrees, but you're also paying for the totally cool ambiance of basically being on the water surrounded by yachts. read more

Had a great Sunday Brunch at YOT. It's a nautical themed kind of place, it's right on the marina nestled between the water and some businesses. Tasty menu...I got to try a fig flatbread and it was really good. For drinks I did their bottomless drink special, I think it was around $30, and got my money's worth with plenty of Old Fashioneds and Bloody Marys. You can mix and match, and there are wine and bubbly options there too. For my main, I had the breakfast burger, a big patty cooked to my liking (medium) with thick cut bacon, hash brown patty, a fried egg, and a side of fries. Good hearty stuff to go with the drinks. Good service too. Afterwards enjoyed a nice espresso at the outdoor bar and enjoyed looking at the yachts in the marina, makes for a nice post brunch walk. read more

We had an amazing New Year's Eve at Yot Bar in Fort Lauderdale. The restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful elegant, cozy, and perfectly set up for the waterfront vibe. Even with a little Florida cold front rolling through, the space was kept warm and comfortable. While I would have loved to see the boats, I happily chose staying warm with the screens down. The highlight of the night was hands down the food. I had the ribeye, and without exaggeration, it was the best steak of my life. Perfectly cooked, incredibly flavorful, and something I will 100% be coming back specifically to order again. Our waiter was wonderful sweet, helpful, attentive, and truly provided perfect service. She made the evening feel special without being overbearing. My only complaint is that I wish we had been told ahead of time that the restaurant would be closing early for the holiday. We had a 7:00 PM reservation and felt a bit rushed during dinner because we didn't want to keep the staff longer than necessary. A heads-up would have made the experience feel more relaxed. That said, this place is a standout, and I can't wait to return especially for that ribeye. read more

I went to the Yot Bar and kitchen on Sunday for brunch. I love it because it was by the water located at Lauderdale Marine, so you saw the yachts and boats come in. Very relaxing and calming when you sit outside. They had a dj playing there on Sunday, so I would hope so on Saturday, too. the dj was really good playing all genres of music. It's a nice size inside and out restaurant that is clean and cool to visit. The food was good. I ordered the breakfast burger and the waffle and chicken. So, the breakfast burger had eggs and bacon in it, so that's why it's called the breakfast burger. I asked it to be well done, and they did it medium, so I wasn't too happy about that, but it was good. The waffle was tasty with cinnamon it tasted like but asked to make sure. I know it was a plain waffle. The chicken was disappointing because it was chicken nuggets to me!! If you don't eat pork, make sure to asked to remove the bacon from the breakfast burger and the chicken and waffle. Florida loves throwing bacon into every dish, and I just don't know why! Read carefully before ordering food!! However, the food overall wasn't bad. I would go back and try other dishes. I ordered two drinks. I had the Davey Jones Lychee Martini, which was really good, and I had the Grey Goose Espresso Martini, but that just tasted like really strong coffee. I didn't taste the liquid. I wouldn't order the Grey Goose Espresso Martini again. Overall, I would rate my Brunching experience 7 out of 10! They have brunch on Saturdays and Sundays from 11 am - 4 pm! read more

We were excited to try this place for the first time, especially since we had heard great things about their fish and chips. Unfortunately, they weren't available so we decided to share some wings and fries instead. The lemon pepper sauce wings were delicious, but they were a bit soggy. So, let's start with the pluses. 1/ This is no doubt an amazing location - wonderful views. If you want to see amazing and super large boats and yachts this is your jam. 2/ Pleasant service. Negatives - 1/ one of my friends ordered a fish and chips. Boy or Boy. IT WAS INEDIBLE. The batter was burnt and generally super cooked. I just knew that this the case when I saw the colour of it, when it was delivered. Once she had cut into it - the fish inside was dry as a bone. Terrible, Terrible, Terrible. We returned it. We were a large group - most of the food, I am sad to say was not good. I had a salad with shrimp - That was decent. Other guests were disappointed. For example, the fries were over salted and too crunchy. The bread and butter pudding was burnt on the edges, the crispy shrimp sandwich was nothing special. Such a shame as we loved the location. Came to the YOT Bar and Kitchen on a Saturday. To be safe you may want to make a reservation, because its on the water its a popular brunch spot. Even in the Florida heat it was packed! There is both indoor and outdoor seating. However, parking can be a bit of a pain, but they do have valet. It's obviously nautical themed, and the menu has some great puns. We ended up getting the fresh baked cinnamon buns, brioche French toast, the YOmeleT, and a side of crispy hash browns First and foremost, the cinnamon buns came out and I thought it was a joke. Like I was on a hidden camera show. They were HUGE, way different than all the other photos we seen online. I literally took a picture of them next to my hand for comparison. Although they were comically large, the quality was not diminished in any way. A bit crusty on the outside, but soft and fluffy on the inside, along with the perfect amount of cream cheese frosting. The French toast, while on the menu states that it's crusted with almonds, doesnt come crusted with almonds anymore. However, this was still an insanely filling, yet not overly sweet dish. The berry compote mixed with the creamy custard was such a nice and refreshing combination. The avocado toast was honestly a bit of a let down. It looked like a piece of regular white bread, with plain avocado on top. The eggs were hard boiled and certainly not poached. This was overall, just a bland dish. The side salad with it was nice. And while the dish looked bright and beautiful, it did fall flat. The omelette was light snd fluffy and stuffed with boursin cheese which I've never seen before. A nice twist on a classic dish. Surprisingly, the side of hasbrowns were peobably the highlight of the meal! They're tossed in parmesan and served with a side of garlic aioli. They're crispy, salty and heavenly! With all the food we ordered and a soft drink and coffee we paid about $90. I do think its a little pricey for the quality of the savory disbes, but the sweeter dishes they knocked out of the park. I'd definitely be back to try other items. read more

I've been to this spot twice now, and since we live right around the corner, we love taking the boat here on the weekends. They only serve a brunch menu on weekends, but they do have one lunch option" the burger"and it was so good! Super juicy, flavorful, and a pretty generous portion (which I love since I'm always making sure to get my protein in). The fries were honestly some of the best I've had so hot, crispy, and seasoned perfectly. The service was amazing too our server was super friendly and immediately gave us great drink and food recommendations. I went with the burger, and we also ordered Bloody Marys and margaritas both were great. Finding the location was a bit tricky, there's valet parking available, and the lots are big, there was a line of cars waiting for some time waiting to park, including us. I personally feel they need to improve on the parking situation. but once we arrived it was worth the effort. This place has a beautiful atmosphere, open air, breezy, and right by the water. If you sit inside or outside, the vibe is relaxed and lively at the same time. It's a great place to unwind. The staff here is great, friendly and attentive, and quick to ensure we had everything we needed throughout our visit. The menu has a good selection of seafoods, and tasty small plates, which makes it easy to share and sample few different items. Drinks were ok, nothing overly fancy, but well made brunch style cocktails. Price is reasonable, it's not too over the top, considering the location. Let just start off with how beautiful this place is- you can tell a lot of intention was put into the design. My friend and I had reservations for 12:30 out on the deck. I valeted for $8, which you can pay for after you are leaving. I arrived after my friend however, the hostess was still very pleasant and guided me to the seating area. After I sat down, our waiter was a bit delayed in greeting me but I figured maybe he's letting us catch up. We both did the bottomless mimosas which, in my opinion, I probably wouldn't do again as my glass was at the bottom quite often. For starters, we ordered the crispy Brussel sprouts which tasted burnt - we didn't finish those. Now, for the star of the show, our mains! I got the steak and eggs with hash browns and they were delicious! My only nit pick would be I ordered my steak medium and it came out well done. My friend got the avocado toast with scrambled eggs and she enjoyed it as well. Also, the food came out very fast! This has always been a favorite of mine. Unfortunately they changed their brunch menu to run of the mill. Flat breads gone. Lox missing. You get to pay 8 dollars for parking. Now they offer Bloody Mary's over spiced and grits with shrimp also very hot. I suppose the good side is at least when my rear end stops burning I will know I am hungry. Love that at YOT you have so many choices of places to eat and drink... inside the main restaurant, out on the covered patio, or down stairs outside on wood deck under umbrellas, or lastly, the outdoor coveted bar which has fans. If you are lucky, you might catch a glimpse of the Jungle Queen going down the waterway to its private island. The menu has changed. The pina colada is TINY, and basically all juice! The brussels sprout chips (one of our favorites) have changed and are so spicy, they are inedible. We had to send them back. They don't have a regular hamburger at lunch anymore on weekends and I had to order the breakfast burger. The fried egg was so overcooked I had to spit it out (I couldn't chew it).
