The reviews and the hype is real. The place is very busy and very small. You will definitely have a wait. Know what you want to expedite the ordering and process to serve your food. I would definitely come back for more.

I have been wanting to try this place for awhile. Exceptional food and service. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We sat outside as the inside was packed![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Within minutes our server came over with waters and took our orders. I ordered the Cashew Chicken with white rice and a Thai Tea! The serving size of the Cashew Chicken was hefty- the chicken was fresh and well seasoned. It had the right amount of spice. The Thai Tea was not overly sweet. It was very refreshing. I will definitely be back to try the other menu items.

The shrimp sauce that demands a straw for the sauce!!!

Full disclosure: I have not tasted many Thai restaurants, but Larb is lauded as the best Thai restaurant in Florida. No doubt! Someone had to drive me through the menu and I was glad to have a foodie with us. Their choices were inspired. So much food!!! So delicious!! We started with the vegetable spring rolls (I am not an spring roll lover and these were awesome). The "rib" was addictive, and the Tom Kha Kai soup was coconutty delicious. In entrees my all time favorite was the Duck Curry. DELICIOSO!!!! Seriously best duck I've ever tasted. The garlic shrimp sauce was so good... I wanted a straw. But by that time I was so full!!! I didn't get to really enjoy all the other dishes that were ordered. Our server helped a lot, checked on us every moment a new entree came, everyone was courteous and happy. They were happy! It was packed. It's just a little place with probably about seating for about 50 people. No reservations. Some outside seating but it was too summer hot. Enjoy the pictures. These are not all the dishes we had, but it will give you a good idea!!

We came on a Thursday and waited a little over an hour for this Michelin-recognized Thai street food spot. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The wait was long, but this is a cute, affordable restaurant with a fun atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our server Thomas was great -- attentive, friendly, and helped make the experience enjoyable. I was also pleasantly surprised they had a limited wine selection that included a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc, which paired nicely with the food. Thai Lettuce Wraps -- 8/10 Great flavor and a solid start. I just wished they had more acidity to balance everything out and more toppings for additional texture. We requested a side of sweet and sour sauce, which helped brighten the dish. Tom Kha (Chicken) -- 6/10 My least favorite dish of the night. The coconut milk was very dominant and took over the other flavors. I think I would have enjoyed a version with more balance between the coconut, herbs, and acidity. Duck Salad -- Star of the meal This was the standout dish. The texture was fantastic, with fresh herbs, great acidity, and a really nice contrast from the flash-fried duck. I'm usually not a huge fan of duck texture, but the crispy preparation gave it a delicious crunch and completely elevated the dish. Pad Si Ew (Pork) -- 8/10 Really enjoyed the noodles and overall flavor, but it was a heavier dish that needed something fresh to cut through it. Adding lime helped a lot. I would have loved more fresh herbs, chives, cilantro, or microgreens to bring more brightness. Khao Soi Chicken -- 10/10 (boyfriend's favorite) My boyfriend absolutely loved this dish and called it a staple curry noodle dish. Curry isn't usually my personal favorite, but he gave it a perfect score. Thai Tea Sweet, but if you like Thai tea, you'll probably enjoy it. My boyfriend loved it. Overall, we had a great experience and would come back. The food is flavorful, affordable, and there are some really memorable dishes. My only wish is that a few dishes had more balance with extra texture, acidity, or fresh herbs to make them even better. Definitely come prepared to wait, especially during busy times, but it's a fun little spot worth trying.

Larb Thai-Isan is one of the best Thai restaurants you can go to if you are in South Florida. We came here today to celebrate our friend's birthday and the experience was great. All the servers who work there were super nice and welcoming, which added to the great experience we had. I think we ordered too much food today. But everything we ordered was really tasty as usual. This restaurant gauges spicy level to real Thai spicy standard so unless you can REALLY eat spicy food, their mild will be enough spicy for most. Medium spicy if you want to burn your mouth in a good way From calamari, beef jerky appetizers to papaya salads, crispy rice salad, to pad thai, crab fried rice, green curry, garlic shrimp, everything we ordered today was excellent. Thank you so much Larb Thai family for providing us with such an amazing and memorable dining experience tonight. Thank you for taking the pictures for us! We appreciate it. We will definitely be back again next time. We also recommend this place to others who enjoy Asian cuisine and great tasting food in general. This restaurant is located in a plaza that offers some parking spaces but it's limited. Try to make a reservation or try to get here earlier than you think you need to, because they always seem busy and packed. We got here little after 8 pm and the wait time was about half an hour. The wait was worth every minute.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Larb Thai-Isan is a Michelin recommended restaurant that brings color, character & Thai flair to a busy nondescript shopping center.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This family restaurant serves authentic Northeastern (Isan) Thai food, with bold & vibrant flavors It's always busy & reservations are not accepted; but I understand it's worth the wait. There was a large parking lot in front and a big Mercedes SUV with a license plate Larb parked right in front - they clearly made it the American dream! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The colorful, character-filled & family-friendly restaurant has some outside tables and a real tuk-tuk in the back.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Ingredients are fresh, high quality, with generous portions, deep flavors & reasonable prices. Their large menu includes everything from curries, noodle dishes & salads to signature dishes from the Isan region. Four different spices were placed on our table to make our dishes sweeter, saltier & spicier. Four of us started by sharing three appetizers. The plate of ribs were small, marinated with fish sauce & came with a dipping sauce. Three small spring rolls were crispy with plum sauce on the side. The chicken lamb tasted like what I was accustomed to in Thailand; ground chicken salad with fresh herb spices & roasted rice powder. Weshared three entrees; the duck curry was my favorite with a well balance sauce containing pineapple chunks, grapes, cherry tomatoes & basil. Our garlic shrimp wa stir fried with garlic, cilantro & steamed carrots & broccoli. Our waiter told us to mix the baked pu-moo dang containing noodles, crab meat , fried garlic, kale and big slices of well seasoned BBQ pork. For dessert we shared mango sticky rice and kluay Tod, the fried banana. We all enjoyed our meal & would come back. Service was friendly, helpful & very quick. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I enjoyed watching the food being prepared & fruits sliced in the open kitchen.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] When we left at 7:30 there was a long line to come inside, there were chairs lined up in front & around the restaurant. Four of us shared 3 appetizers, 3 entrees & 2 desserts paying $30 pp including tax & tip.

A nice find in Ft. Lauderdale! It is a Michelin star rated in a strip mall. We found ample parking when we arrived around 5:15pm. We found ample offerings and the portions were generous. The appetizers were very good! Marinated ribs with fish sauce, spring rolls with plum sauce for a sweetened taste, ground chicken salad with fresh herb spices & roasted rice powder. I do not care for curry but their duck curry which also included pineapple chunks largely hid the curry taste. Our garlic shrimp wa stir fried with garlic, cilantro & steamed carrots & broccoli. For dessert we shared mango sticky rice and fried banana. Everyone enjoyed and we would definately go back. Our server was personable and answered our questions about the menu. We got our food in a very reasonable time after we ordered. We left around 7:30. There was a bit of a line for take out as well as eating in.

I heard so many great things about this place and was so excited to try. I love Thai food so I came hungry! Like everyone says, it's such a popular place so I feel like no matter what time you come you're gonna have a wait. I arrived around 2ish on a Sunday and there was a 40 minute wait. I think we got sat a little earlier cause we went and asked the host about an empty table we saw outside that wasn't getting sat and they gave it to us. There's lots of seating outside while you wait and a bench inside as well. You can order drinks at the counter inside and take them outside to enjoy while waiting for your table which a lot of people did. Service was great, food was great, just everything was 10/10. The servings were a lot larger than the pictures looked online so we had a ton of leftovers to bring home which I wasn't complaining about. I highly recommend this place it's worth the wait.

I've been searching for a new Thai spot since a few of my favorites closed, and I'm so glad I tried Larb Thai-Isan. The restaurant stayed busy the entire time with dine-in guests, takeout orders, and even a line at one point, which says a lot. Customer service was excellent and fast without making me feel rushed. The food came out hot and fresh as it was ready. My table ordered the spring rolls, calamari, red curry, ginger chicken, crab fried rice, and a lemonade -- about $76 total. Everything was hot, fresh, and flavorful. My favorites were the red curry, crab fried rice, and calamari. Overall, great food, great service, and I'll definitely be back!

There's a line here for a reason and the reason is this is probably the best Thai food that I have ever had! Larb Thai-Insan has been on my must try list for a while now. The line usually takes an hour or two, this is why we went for lunch when they first opened. The staff is so friendly and sweet. They were very accommodating. They keep tables clean and they were so efficient. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant's vibe is very retro giving it a very authentic feel.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We shared the Khao Sou and The Kra Pao. They were so tasty. I for sure will be dreaming about these two dishes. We also tried their very fresh papaya salad and their Thai tea. Their mango sticky rice was very good with a hint of saltiness in the rice paired with the sweetness of the coconut and mangoes. We plan to come again!

Well after seeing Larb Thai Isan was voted by Yelpers as one of the Top 100 U.S. Restaurants in 2026 (Ranked #42), we just had to go! Service is excellent and friendly, except for a few hiccups like no knife to cut my pork, (but I asked and one was quickly delivered). Obviously its a VERY busy lunch spot given all the notoriety, but it's a big space with lots of seating. I can't wait to return. We got a "to go" order of Red Curry Chicken for dinner at home and it was excellent! Pro Top: Order the lime infused Lemonade! OMG so good!!!!

If you're searching for authentic Thai food in Pompano Beach, Larb Thai-Isan is a must-visit. This local spot brings the bold, vibrant flavors of Northeastern Thailand straight to South Florida, and every dish tastes homemade and incredibly fresh. The larb is the star of the menu -- perfectly seasoned minced meat mixed with lime juice, roasted rice powder, fresh herbs, onions, and spicy chili that delivers the perfect kick. The flavors are bright, savory, smoky, and absolutely addictive. Pair it with sticky rice and it's pure comfort food. What really makes this restaurant stand out is the authenticity. From the papaya salad to the grilled meats, every dish is packed with real Thai-Isan flavor you usually only find in Thailand itself. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The service is friendly, the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the portions are generous for the price.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Highly recommend:* Chicken or Beef Larb* Som Tum (Papaya Salad)* Sticky Rice* Thai Grilled Pork* Spicy Isan Sausage Larb Thai-Isan is one of the best hidden gems in Pompano Beach -- authentic Thai flavor, amazing spice, and food that keeps you coming back for

We walked in to the place and grabbed a couple spots at their bar. Its a nice unassuming place. There people hustling about including the bartender. But she had 2 drinks over to us pretty quick. I wanted to try something new so I got the Nam Gek Huay. It was a tasty beverage with tea as the mixer. There were cloves of something on the top that were a nice touch. The ambience, quality of food and service, plus the plating/presentation was top notch. Love the spacious and modern/trendy ambience. There's a wall that separates the left side (restaurant) from the right side (bar/cocktail lounge). There's ample parking in the plaza. The menu is pretty expansive and truly lives up to the "modern" yet authentic take on Thai food. The Crispy Brussels Sprouts was a standout -- perfectly blistered, sweet and savory at the same time with just enough crunch. Super tasty! The Dry Rub Thai Chicken Wings was another highlight. Crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and coated in a seasoning blend that hits you with layers of flavor instead of just heat. I am used to chicken wings that are drizzled with sauce and this dry rub wings was such a nice surprise. This is honestly some of the best wings you'll find in a Thai restaurant. The Grilled Lamb Satay was beautifully plated -- smoky, and marinated just right. Paired with the peanut sauce and the refreshing cucumber-onion relish, it was a solid dish. Would have preferred the meat to be more tender though. The Jumbo Lump Meat Crab Fried Rice was comforting, served with a spicy green chili sauce. I was warned by our server that the green sauce is spicy, so I tempered the heat by adding more fish sauce. Generous chunks of real crab, fragrant rice, and well‑seasoned flavors. Service is efficient (will update this with the name of our server next time) and warm. The chef/owner is So. He is funny, friendly and hospitable and he makes his rounds to visit every table checking how everything is. This restaurant is now in our rotation for top Asian eats in Boca.
