This restaurant opened up not too long ago and we finally decided to swing by. The service was fabulous. The green sauce was impeccable. Zero spice to it which is nice but still full of flavor. My wife enjoyed the salsa as well. The tables are beautiful and the food was absolutely amazing! The green spaghetti was a recommendation and I'm so glad I decided to try it. That pasta is some of the best pasta I've had in a while! Was not expecting that. The tacos were AMAZING! We can't wait to come back and eat here again.

Always a hit! Every time I visit Shuko's Latin Restaurant, the food is absolutely delicious. You can tell it's made with love and authentic flavors. The atmosphere is cozy, inviting, and has that warm, lively vibe that makes you want to stay a little longer. Whether it's a quick lunch or a relaxed dinner, this spot never disappoints. Highly recommend for anyone who loves great Latin food and a welcoming place to enjoy it!

Glad to find some Guatemalan cuisine on this part of town. Very delicious and great selection. The staff was nice and knowledgeable on what they had to offer. Overall if you like sandwiches with different meats. Then this is the spot! Will be coming back. Fuerza Chapin!

I ordered pick up, was greeted right away very friendly, wanted to try their breakfast tacos and pupusas. The tacos were amazing, good amount food as well and the pupusa was alright but bad but maybe not as authentic as I'd like I think because they used black beans instead of the traditional? But good fix if you're in the mood. I'll try again next time and try one if their many flavored waters.

Flash fried and Bell pepper really balanced the flavor throughout. The chicken pot pie was a standout. Visually impressive and even better once you dig in, it comes topped with a crispy, buttery croissant crust that spills over the bowl it's baked in. Inside fresh cubed chicken, carrots, and celery in one of the creamiest fillings. For dessert, the bread pudding made me pause mid-bite and demand my dining mate to try it immediately. That mofo slaps...hard. Everything coming out of the kitchen felt sincere and carefully prepared this was one of the best dining experiences ive had all year. Hands down. This place is a hidden gem. We started with the strawberry glazed biscuits and WOW... those melted in your mouth. Absolute heaven! My mom and I loved the shrimp and grits. They used fresh jumbo gulf shrimp over cheesy grits. It's the best we've ever had. My sister also enjoyed her croissant sandwich. We ended the meal with the strawberry shortcake dessert. It was also a big hit and I see why they are famous for it. Special thanks to Magen for making my mom's birthday brunch extra special. She kept the cocktails flowing and even offered us some off menu items like her cherry cosmo and dragonfruit mimosa. We absolutely loved the old town country feel and this was truly the best brunch experience we've had in a long time. We can't wait to visit again soon.

The decor is fun, engaging, and every where I looked I found something really cool and awesome about the place. I could probably spend a whole day just looking at the walls as if it was a museum of Pasadena's finest including police officers. Came in and was greeted by friendly staff. Tyler was my waiter and took my order: Eggs Benny with half order of grits and Hashbrowns since I wanted to try both sides out on my first time. Eggs Benedict was cooked to perfection. The egg was perfect and the Hollandaise was fresh and perfectly seasoned. Nice thick country ham was fried and complimented the eggs and sauce well. The English muffin was drenched with the yolky and Hollandaise goodness that sent my taste buds to Flavortown! The Hashbrowns were cooked very well. The nicely browned crisp wrested well with the soft goodness laying inside. Thank goodness they have Cholula because that's favorite way to eat them! Grits were textured well and hot. Added lots of butter and salted them up to my liking. Next time I may add cheese! Definitely will be back again. Friendly staff, my waiter, Tyler, was amazing and attentive. Management greeted me with a smile as I walked in. Thank for making my Eggs Benedict EGGSACTLY how I love them! Other notes: Bathroom was clean and well maintained. Loved the Texas vibes and all the interesting decor.

She was quick with our drinks and let us look at the menu for a few more minutes. Mom had the Green Tomato BLT, the Missus had the club sammich. But enough about their meals ... I want to review my meal. Their menu lists that the burger is on a brioche bun ... check that one off of the item list. A hearty patty is also placed inside of the bun and along with it are pickles, lettuce, onion and tomato. Check and double Check. Mayo is slathered on the buns, at just the right amounts that make it taste good, but not so much that it slides the innards of the burger all over the place making the chomping experience mushy. Flavors were good, I had just hoped the patty fit the bun a little better. The ratio was a bit more bun sided than oatty sided. My fries, crinkle cut, were seasoned well. Well enough that no ketchup was needed to dip them into for additional flavor. I would have liked a bit more crispiness from a double fry, but these were toothy enough to get a decent mouth feel. The meal for the three of is was about 47.00, so inflation has also hit my hometown dining places as bad as they have hit my current home near The Woodlands. Will i return to eat there the next time I visit Mom? If she wants to go, then yes, yes I would. I would also hit it alone just for their chicken fried steak or chicken. Ciao, Darrell

They've added some additional flare in the back with a mural of local icons and monuments, including a tribute to local celebrity Andy Petit. One of the wildest parts is that, up until recently, you could still smoke in the restaurant. I'm about 97% sure you can't anymore. The menu is full of American classics: meatloaf, hamburgers, sandwiches, and the typical breakfast staples. My buddy Jorge and I always get the breakfast special--pancakes, eggs (over medium for me, over well for him), typically with bacon and either sugar-free or regular maple syrup. It's a pretty solid deal at around $12, and it comes with a cup of coffee. The coffee is like rocket fuel. Like I said, it's a classic greasy spoon. It's definitely worth a stop if you're looking for a no-frills breakfast. While it's not my go-to for lunch in the area, you'll definitely find something to satisfy your appetite. Service is always friendly and for the most part quick. I haven't been in high traffic times in a while. At 5-7 am on Friday it's pretty slow.
