Everything was carried out exactly as it had been explained to us. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and they kept us informed about the progress of the treatment the entire time. Scheduling routine dental cleanings has always been easy and convenient. We decided to keep both children with the practice for orthodontics as well, thinking it would simplify appointments. However, we weren't aware that the orthodontist has limited office days and hours, which has made rescheduling appointments more challenging than expected. Had we known this upfront, we may have considered other options. That said, Dr. Wong has been wonderful and we're very happy with the care he provides. The staff is generally friendly and helpful. The only concern we've had is that the orthodontic assistant who sees my daughter has made her feel somewhat uncomfortable during the last few visits, possibly due to frustration over recurring broken brackets. Overall, we've had a good experience, and Dr. Wong has been a big reason why we've continued our orthodontic care here.

One of the best things is being able to get appointments after school so that I don't have to take any time off to get my kids here. He started developing a cavity between his two front teeth at age 3 and I informed the dentist sent photos & also booked an appointment to get it checked out asap. The Dentist said it was a cavity and to keep an eye on it pretty much is all he could do. He didn't recommend filling it since he was only 3 years old I believe he said we could wait until he's older. Fast forward 6 month the cavity got bigger & started spreading to other teeth! Brought him back for his normal 6 month check up and he said again nothing he can do since he's so young. Didn't offer or recommend anything basically said wait it out. We kept getting no real solution. That same week I took matters into my own hands and sourced two different dentist (out of pocket pay since we already did out 6 month cleaning) Both new dentist gave me a laundry list of all the work that needs to be done on my son. Almost 3k worth of work 6 fillings 3 baby root canals!!! Milpitas dentistry never mentioned all this extra stuff that both of my new dentist seen! He only mentioned the 2-3 cavities I brought up to him, I was so annoyed like how did they not see all of this?? Blows my mind that we payed this dentist $300 a visit for cleanings and all they ever did was brush his teeth and not even point out all of these cavities and just let them get bigger. I'm only writing this post because I found them on YELP so I don't want another person to have this experience.

As I was attempting to find my new insurance card (I have a different plan since our last visit), the front desk staff stated they could not find me online and asked me if I wanted a printout. I was confused by the question and asked "a printout of what" and she responded "do you want me to print out what we see...that we can't find your insurance coverage". I said no as I didn't see the point and wanted to focus on logging into my work phone to find my insurance card. The staff person decided to print it out and hand it to me anyway. I'm not sure if she thought this was helpful, but I found it to be very rude. What was I supposed to do with that printout? Then they proceeded to ask if I wanted to reschedule (it had been a good 10 minutes past our appointment time). No I did not want to reschedule! What would have been helpful would have been for the staff to take the kids back and start their appointments while I grabbed my laptop from the car and logged in to access their insurance card information. What would have also been helpful is to have an email listed on their website so I could give feedback directly to them. Instead, I am forced to write a negative public review which I don't normally like to do. We will not be returning as I do not appreciate their lack of customer service and respect for other people's time. I took time off of work and my daughter missed an after-school activity for this appointment. This was a complete waste of time and energy. I don't recommend bringing your kids here if you want a nice experience from start to finish.

The receptionist showed me the treatment plan and then proceeded to tell me there would be a discount since I would be paying cash and she would email me the treatment plan. Proceed to the appointment and then they tell me I have a balance that is double the price they told me when I called to ask. The receptionist then called the supervisor and again, was not the price I was told when I called. I asked to talk to the supervisor, which didn't happen. The receptionist called her supervisor again and got another price, $16 over what I was originally quoted. Needless to say, if you are not going through insurance and paying out of pocket. Get final prices beforehand and in writing with staff members names and dates. Unfortunately we won't be coming back here.

Absolutely gaslit by a severely misinformed dentist at this office. I went in with a…read morewell-researched plan for my very challenging child that I was hoping to have an open discussion about and instead was gaslit and repeatedly having to defend my stance. 1. Glass ionomer is absolutely a viable option for a tooth with no enamel (as my child has) as a preventative measure/temporary solution, three dentists later and all the ChatGPT and Gemini data I can consume, I was right. It was literally designed to adhere to challenging teeth situations, including my child's, a no enamel tooth (which is actually quite rare, so there probably is some enamel present) and in his case, one that has not fully erupted. The chemical reaction that takes place does not need "hooks" to bond - it literally is an acid-base reaction to either enamel OR dentin creating a true chemical bond and thus a seal to temporarily protect said tooth. Both enamel and dentin contain hydroxyapatite - the key player is Calcium. The polyacrylic acid has negatively charged carboxyl groups that can chelate to calcium ions. So when GIC is placed on the tooth (regardless of whether it is dentin or enamel), the acid conditions the surface, some calcium is available on the surface and the polyacralate chains form ionic bonds with surfac calcium and you get a chemical adhesion layer. Only difference is that with dentin, mineral density is lower, more organic matrix present and more moisture - so while it is a lesser bond, it still absolutely chemically bonds and would give the tooth some protection while we wait for it to fully erupt, for him to mature and hopefully continue work through his gag reflex. Basically buy time. Chemistry was my favorite class. 2. When I say no stainless steel cap or amalgam - I MEAN NO STAINLESS STEAL - and you are also WRONG if you think they do not contain nickel. Nickel is literally the ingredient needed to allow dentists to FORM the cap. It's not for you then to debate me for 10 minutes. I do not want the added release of Nickel into his system, a metal his father has a KNOWN ALLERGY TO. My child already has brain inflammation - I do not need to increase his load. Instead of listening, I was questioned multiple times about "how allergic my husband really is" or my favorite "all my other PANS/PANDAS patients are fine with the stainless steal". DO NOT CARE. Until you hold your child while he is convulsing himself to sleep because his brain is inflamed and his motor tics are out of control, you don't get to push your narrative. I am telling you as his parent what I need from you. Don't gaslight me into something because it is easier and cheaper for you. The rest of the office, awesome - great hygienists, awesome front desk - so sweet, great with kids. If you have a kid with no issues and just regular checkups, probably fine. But if you have a unique situation that requires thoughtful consideration with knowledgeable dentist, I would NEVER take my child back here. He deserves better care and as a parent, I have standards = a dentist who doesn't gaslight and understands the very basics of the treatments they are responsible for giving.

She is four years old now and is very comfortable 'going to the dentist'. The office is warm, big prop trees divide the space between the office and the waiting room. There are enough books to keep a small classroom entertained and my daughter felt catered to. The dental hygienist was so kind and offered me a spot to sit to watch my daughter. She asked if they could do X-rays which I agreed to. They were careful to explain how the teeth would eventually push through and at what angles. My daughter was busy watching a movie with provided headphones, so none of the procedures seemed to bother her. After her cleaning, she got to choose a prize and enter into a drawing to win a bicycle. All very exciting to a four year old. She'll look forward to more of the excitement. I had to email their front staff to fill out a form for her TK registration earlier this summer and they replied within four hours of my request. I was impressed with their response time and as a busy mom, I am grateful for the help!

Their online insurance update paperwork is very convenient to fill out before the appointment, which takes a load off of arriving at the office to fill everything out while attending to an active toddler. They recently redesigned their waiting room, so that it feels a lot more open, with new toys, and the latest Disney movies available for other siblings to keep themselves entertained. This allows parents to fully utilize their free, high speed Internet. There is also an assortment of tea and coffee from which to choose. It's a win - win situation for all family members involved. The nice thing is, if they accommodate one of the siblings to do treatment on the same day as the cleaning, they allow parents to bring the other sibling to their afterschool event, and they keep the sibling who's in treatment very comfortable and safe, while parents run their errands. The kids always feel at ease, following the sweet dental assistants into the clinical area. They have soft, soothing music playing in the background with festive songs during the holidays. The ambience imparts a sense of calmness and tranquility, even when there is a lot of activity going around in the background. The team stays on task & is organized. We never feel rushed through any of the appointments. There are plenty of extra chairs for family members to sit and relax in their expansive operatory area. The open chair setting allows for young kids to say hello and make endearing new friends. They feed off of one another's positive energy. Gotta give a thumbs up to Dr. Andrew, Dr. Ivan, Dr. Amrit, and Dr. Omid for all being calibrated to the same high standard of patient care that is set forth with Dr. Cyndi. Each doctor has his or her own creative and fun style, and it's reassuring to know that they generate the same excellent result with the exams & cleanings. They make fillings, crowns, and even extractions, a piece of "sugar-free" cake for really young children. Their RDA's are so meticulous with the gentle cleanings and giving personalized oral hygiene instructions that are easy to follow at home. Everyone here puts the patients and their families as their number one priority. Even if we are out-of-network with their dental insurance, we would never consider going to any other pediatric dental office.
