Dr Singh had been my dentist since 2009. After a few bad experiences with a few dentists who always try to sell you other products, or do unnecessary procedures, Dr. Singh has been very genuine. Never recommended any additional procedures than what is needed. Corrected one of the filling which was wrongly done by two other providers. That is still going strong after 7+ yrs. The office staff is bit old school. Its difficult get in touch with them. Calls are returned after many days. Use of technology is lacking. The patient experience can be improved with many of the new medical software. Dr. Singh I'll highly recommended, however office experience can be improved. read more

I had to switch my dentist after retiring. The new insurance plans were not accepting my prior dentist of many years. I found Dr Singh and I'm very happy I did. He's is a great dentist: precise, caring, and communicating treatment very clearly. His whole staff is nice, kind, helpful and cheerful. Dr. Singh is very honest, does only what is needed, he does it very well and great job every time and he is very fair. If you are looking for a great Dentist, do not go any further. Dr. Singh is supposedly a dentist AND orthodontist, however, I went through two phases of braces with him over the course of about 5 years and my teeth still are not straight. They stick out in the front and it is extremely disappointing to me that my parents spent thousands of dollars hoping to fix my teeth. After this, we left Dr. Singh's practice and I had a second opinion from Dr. Sasaki in Los Gatos. He said that 4 of my teeth should have been pulled out prior to me having braces. Unfortunately it's far too late and far too expensive to have this fixed. Also, he never informed me or my parents about any of the procedures he was about to do. With no question, he pulled out this tool and began shaving my back teeth without me even knowing what was happening. Me, at the time 13 years old, just went along with it because I didn't know how to ask him to stop. Since, my bite has been off and it is extremely uncomfortable all the time. Finally, his receptionist Jennifer can be in a good mood sometimes, but many times she has been rude to my family and very moody. I HIGHLY discourage people from going to Dr. Singh, unless they prefer having procedures done on them without any explanation, or being disappointed. I, and my wife, have been going to Dr. Singh for a couple of years now, based on a recommendation from a satisfied friend. I've been very pleased on a number of fronts: For one, I'm always very quickly in and out. Past dentists I've had to wait for as much as 20 minutes after my appointment time -- here I don't think I've ever had to wait as much as even five. Doctor Singh too is very quick and efficient. He doesn't leave you waiting in the chair, he doesn't sit and gab -- he just gets his work done. He cleans you personally - no separate hygienist, although he does have an assistant to polish you off. Another big plus is that he's never tried to sell me things I don't need. My other dentists have always tried to find ways to make me do things I really don't need -- whitening... early filling replacements... whatever. And I haven't had him even suggest such things once. I think Jennifer is great. I can understand why some people may not make a personal connection -- but she's always been great about reminders, she always gets to the point on my insurance without confusion, she gets me in and out of the office without waiting. And I think she tries to be friendly in her own way. In summary, I suppose what you want in a dentist is up to your tastes. It's not the sort of place you're going to sit in the chair for an hour gabbing with the staff - but they care for your teeth and are very effective and efficient. read more

I initially thought we are visiting a lady, but then we were told it is a guy. We are happy for the reason that he is on time, take our insurance coverage and nothing charged to us. But first I had severe pain after the simple clean. My spouse experienced that too for her deep clean. Next time was much better. read more

Dr. Singh has been my Dentist for the last 20 years, since I moved to US, except for 1 year when I had to try a different dentist since I chose a cheaper dental insurance for 1 year. 2 Dentist that visited that year is reason why I decided to go back to the Dental insurance that Dr.Singh accepts. We went to him 1st when we were living in Sunnyvale, we moved to San Ramon in 2010, but for the last 10 years I still drive all the way to Sunnyvale for all our Dental needs. Dr.Singh know his trade very well, get the job done quick and right. I had so many Dental issues when I st went to him. He did a lot of work on my teeth in the 1st 2 years and since then I had no dental issues in the last 18 years. The best thing about him is he never tried to sell you anything, unlike most dentist in the area. In one year when I visited other dentist, they wanted to do deep cleaning, this, that and what not. When I went back to Dr. Singh next year he said you don't need any of that and my teeth is doing just fine these years. read more

Best dentist and office staff. We (Me, my spouse, and our kids) had been going to Dr. Singh for the past 18 years. I have nothing to say but good things about him. He knows my family by name and the personal touch you get when you visit him I don't think you can get it with any dentist. He is very methodical and honest to his profession. Jennifer is equally nice and gives personal touch to your visit. Even though she is buried till nose with phone calls, setting up appointments, and taking care of patients, she does not forget to smile and ask you about your family and give you warm welcoming feeling. We live in Fremont but still prefer to visit Dr. Singh instead of hundreds of dentist in Fremont. We don't mind the extra drive because he is the best. read more

I did my Orthodontics with Dr. Singh and he sure is the best dentist. I was 23 when I went to him with a totally dis-aligned tooth (among few other issues) hoping for a correction, he got me the braces (I chose porcelain ones) and within ~2 years (which is not bad at all given my age), I got my smile back ;) Thanks Dr. Singh for the good work and the Staff for great service. read more

Now a days, Dr. Romy singh is not providing proper care and attention to patient. First of all he doesn't work on Friday so getting his appointment is so difficult. and after getting appointment - for my case to get approval from insurance it took more than 2.5 months. When i called doctor office they said we have submitted papers. and when i check with my insurance company they said they have not received single paper from doctor. When you call doctor office nobody pick-up phone, i tried several time in day - morning, afternoon, evening left several message - no response. Even they don't bother to respond back for weeks. - it looks like doctor don't care. I am really disappointed, i hope if doctor reads this comment they improve - nothing personal. Earlier this was not the case, but from last one year i am finding this kind of treatment from him and their staff. read more

Actually i do not have much dental problems , so i do not go to dentists much. 2 years back i went to Dr Romy singh and got some cleaning done. Then i had a wisdom teeth which way occasionally come in the way of biting self. He explained to me about a nerver passing near it and suggested that i can remove it or even dont have to. He did not try to sell any thing at all. I was totally unaware of other dentists and some how fell into a trap and went to another dentist ACCU dental and then i understood how much hard selling is done at other places. Dr. Romy Singh has been taking care of my elderly father's dental needs for years and years. Each time, I have been so impressed with his concern, his treating my father as a real person and not just a patient, and his doing such a great job of caring for my father's teeth. Given that my dad is quite old now, he has more erosion of his teeth, so Dr. Singh always gives us the options very carefully and informs us of the pros and cons of each choice. He doesn't try to "sell" any solution. At times it was our choice to do a tooth implant and his prices were very reasonable. At other times, he was ok with my Dad just leaving things alone. I think he has tremendous respect for elderly people and has a very kind heart in addition to being extremely good at his profession and the service he provides. Avoid going here!! This dentist ruined the teeth of my entire family (of 4). He claims to be an orthodontist but after years my son's teeth are seriously misaligned. We have taken multiple opinions and every dentist/orthodontist thinks there's a huge problem. We have shelled out thousands of dollars fixing our teeth - extractions, new braces, root canals, and more. Phew!!! read more

There is absolutely no doubt that Dr. Romi Singh is one of the very best. It is also true that he values clients' time as much as he values his own. And it is also a fact that his front office is the lousiest I had ever seen anywhere! Can you imagine the receptionist telling you that she is so busy with 'other' work that she does not have time to attend to phones and she has 'heaps of voice mail' to attend to and that is the reason she does not call back? If you want a more unfriendly voice reminding you about an appointment, you do not have to search any farther! Our family has been seeing Dr.Singh for the past 24 years and he is one of the best that we have experienced, all I can say is that for those who have had a problem you have to understand that when you deal with the public, you deal with some jerks and whiners in any business you're in, He is one of the top Dentists in the bay area, and even so someone is always going to complain and you cannot please everyone. I would like to ask the people that are complaining about the receptionist, I want to see you do her job with 30 to 50 phone calls a day and do you think everyone going to be happy and jolly especially when there is severe pain. The reason Dr.Singh does not get rid of her, Why would you get rid of someone that is outstanding at their job for so many years . DAH ! For those that complain as you can see there is more positives than negatives, but some people love to complain and their relationships with others be it a wife, girlfriend or co workers is all the same way, complain, complain and their still not happy and want more for nothing then get everything and still complain !
