Sha Wynwood delivered on most fronts. Started with the Vedado margarita, which was phenomenal. Slightly spicy, not too sweet, perfectly balanced. My husband's New Fashioned was just okay, the rum flavor was too strong and needed something to mellow it out. For food, the mushroom risotto was excellent, and the filet mignon was honestly one of the best I've had in a long time, though the portion was on the smaller side for the price. The croquettes were just alright, nothing special. Pumpkin gnocchi was fine too, nothing that stood out. For dessert, the tiramisu had wonderful flavor and tasted incredibly fresh, but the ladyfingers had a bite to them and weren't soaked enough for my taste. The vibe of the place lowkey gives a bit of a haunted house feel, kind of cool if you're into that. Bastian, our server, was really good and attentive the whole night, and his recommendation, the risotto, ended up being the best thing on the menu. I usually love octopus but this one was not my thing. However the vegetable dumplings made up for it and was good. My brother and I each ordered the lamb chops for our main and it was cooked to perfection. The dish also comes with mashed potatoes as a side already so we ordered the asparagus as an another side. My mom ordered the pistachio crusted salmon and it came with mixed vegetables plus she ordered mashed potatoes on the side. Overall everyone enjoyed their dish and was satisfied. You know the food is terrible when your hungry dog turns his nose up at the "chicken" they cooked beyond recognition. And worse, the service. There was one lady who is working really hard (I wish she had been my server). But the male server who wears one glove needs to find another career. Ignored me all evening. Anything positive you've heard or read about this restaurant, SHÁ, could only have come from family members or employees. The gaudy entrance should've been the first sign this was going to hurt. The hostess had zero personality and seemed more interested in her phone than in us. Our server's grasp of the menu was limited, but we pushed through... or so we thought. I lowered my expectations and ordered two appetizers to get a feel for the kitchen: the tuna carpaccio and the vitello tonnato (veal with a tuna-based sauce). The tuna carpaccio arrived first, and honestly, I didn't think disappointment could sink any lower. It was inedible dry,like parchment paper and completely unseasoned. Then came the vitello tonnato, which clearly wasn't veal. It looked more like cheap sliced deli meat. Just as bad and inedible. At that point, we asked for the check. There was no hope, vámonos . They charged $20 just for valet parking, which was steep but I went with it. Unfortunately, the food didn't justify the cost at all. The tuna appetizer was forgettable, the chicken main course was bland despite being the highlight, and I paid $14 for a few tasteless asparagus spears. On top of that, the old fashioned I ordered came with regular ice instead of a single block, and the bartender was visibly annoyed about fixing it. In the end, I spent $170 on two cocktails, one main course, and two appetizers. Not worth for mediocre food and service. read more

It wasn't busy so there wasn't a scene if that's what you're looking for, but we also came early at 8PM. There was a DJ after 9PM that was spinning some good tunes! As for food, I had the ravioli, and it was delicious! I'll def be back for the food, free margaritas on Wednesdays (it was very tasty, btw), and the good dj - I tried to Shazam some of his stuff but appears he mixes himself so it's not available on Spotify. They were good, some better than others . The food, was very good in general. The carpaccio tasted very good, but for some reason seemed to be cooked or marinated too much in its nice sauce. The live music and vibes are here for this spot, but they really don't have it together on the food. The menu is super confused, and it's labeled as Mediterranean, which it's not. Don't fall for that designation on any platform, since it is a strange mix of Italian, Asian (but South Asian, Chinese, Japanese, etc), and other. There is pizza and pasta on this menu. Their drinks were good, minus the cappuccino drink which was mostly whipped cream. The best thing we had was the duck dumplings, which were inoffensive. However, the rest of the food was sort of a mess. The curries were overly salted and a strange mix of things that included some romaine lettuce as garnish (?). The limón pasta was weirdly sweet, which I didn't expect nor enjoy much. The entree with the mixed seafood was not what we expected, as it was apparently under salted and came with a random four slices of bread. All in all, we felt somewhat bamboozled by the solid reviews on Google even if the reviews on here on Yelp were mixed. Terrible service overpriced food and drinks etc. We went for brunch and sunday and im not exaggerating when i say we were the only people in the restaurant and it took like 30 mins to get drinks and like an hour before we ordered. My husband made reservations to join some friends for dinner. My first impression was that they truly spent a lot of money on the build out without really having a unifying theme to bring it all together. The lighting in the restaurant was perfect and the servers , like Claudia, were very attentive and truly gave us great service. The menu is quite limited so if anyone is a picky eater, look ar the bevy first before you book. I had the sirloin steak and it's was served with the most delicious mashed potatoes. The steak itself had a good flavor. My husband had the branzino and to be honest, i immediately those of the 80s commercials ;94 Wendy's.that made "where's the beef" a household phrase. The finish flavor was good but a tiny portion. My husbands friend had rib eye steak and he said it was tasty. A much larger portion than an of the other meals. For desert i had the white chocolate cake that was more than a cheesecake than a cake but I enjoyed it. Overall it was a descent experience but will probably not go again. It was Friday night and we went at 730 and left at 1015 and there was no more than 3 tables at a time. read more
