    Oh my cod
    Natalie J.

Let me start by saying this place has a lot of potential. Not sure if it was because of the day or time, but it was really dead. I think we were one of 3 patrons there. I love when lines for roller coasters are empty but for such a vibrant and aesthetically maritime fun place, I would have loved to see more people. I was surprised this place wasn't as busy as neighboring restaurants as they had amazing decor and great music. We got a few items from their HH menu, which is 50% off. Love me dip was a spicy shrimp cheese dip, very subtle on the spicy and served in a cute shell dish with warm chips. Perhaps the best thing we got on the menu. Fish Buns of glory served with pickled onions. Oh my Cod fish and chips (yucca), served with a cute flower but could have used more chips. We also got their cute watermelon cocktail. Which to be fair, probably was maybe worth 2 drinks as it is rather small. I was hoping more for a fish bowl type of feel. To be honest, the place and food hit social media gold. But I feel it felt short. The plates looked great and were pretty, but it wasn't necessarily something I could see myself paying full price for considering we got it on HH. I want to love this place. I will have to give it another shot because although the look of everything wow'd me, I don't think it is enough to justify for the food.

A new place with so much potential. Stopped by to check it out as i used to eat at the butcher shop. The place is really cool with a matine theme as the staff is dressed in french sailor shirts. The food: The lobster ceviche is a MUST, was soooo good, it is big enough to share and it is served with the claws for you to eat as well. The pulp was cooked to perfection comes with some roasted potatoes and a tasty green sauce. The fried fish is really good as well. Drinks: My friend tried the Sir Francis Shake and was impressed while i had some Moscow mules and were the bomb. Service was really good (we sat at the bar) jessica and juana were really helpful and friendly. The manager Edgar stopped by couple of time to check in the food, service and overall experience. The atmosphere is chill and will work for a date or just a friends night out. Mostly funky house music with a nice vibe. Parking situation as many in wynwood is first come first serve on the street. Highly recommended if you want to have some dinner or a chill night out.

My friend and I tried their Miami spice menu and we loved it. She was able to have fried calamari's I couldn't because of my allergies but she said that they were fresh. I had a delicious drink with pistachio! The ceviche was perfect!! So tasty, fresh, and beautiful because the weather in the presentation the plates it's beyond amazing. My main dish was the mushroom risotto and I wish I could have that every day. That has to be the best risotto I have had in my life.

It was my first time checking this spot out and I Loved it! This spot is located in wynwood! ( street parking available). The place has good food, and really amazing cocktails! The place is decorated very cool. Staff is friendly and they have fair prices. The place is great for a lowkey night or a turn up type of night with your friends, they also have hookah. ( which is a plus ). The place has a good vibe and atmosphere, but the best thing about this place is the EXCELLENT SERVICE I received from ALMA!!!!! She was friendly, authentic and knowledgeable!!!!! She really made my experience memorable and I cannot wait to go back!!!!

Definitely a hot spot in wynwood. With no cover and great music it's definitely a good option. My first visit but I'll definitely go back.

I absolutely love Crusoe Happy Hour! I recommend it to everyone because the options are phenomenal. The food is so fresh and I love the shrimp dip. The service was incredible and the ambiance just make you want to have fun. If your looking for a happy hour in Wynwood, you have most certainly found your place! Also, Thursday is ladies night so ladies drink free!

This place is incredible! It really sticks to its story through its decoration, both inside and out. Incredible attention to detail and overall, gorgeous. I came here for brunch with my mom and it was great. The music was more house-techno but it was a nice deviation from the usual Miami Brunch. Our servers, Maria and Alvaro were SPECTACULAR in explaining everything and talking with us. We had the Lobster Ceviche and Seareal Griller - both were AMAZING. I'm still thinking about the lobster ceviche. As for drinks, we had the pistachio margarita and the watermelon mojito. Very yummy. Dessert was made by Lilo and we had the Bread Pudding. I wish I had 4 extra stomachs to keep eating, everything was delicious. Usually for brunch, they have $1 oysters and $30 unlimited champagne from 12-5 PM. it's a steal for me, if I do say so myself!

Crusoe Wynwood just opened this weekend and I got to try their Sunday brunch which includes $50 bottomless bubbles and oysters. I went with six fellow yelpers and We had a great time. The oysters were fresh & delicious, the staff was somewhat slow in bringing further rounds of oysters and bubbles however we kept reminding them to keep the goodies flowing. It was fun, but not sure I would come for anything other than the bottomless bubbles and oysters deal.

Was reccomended by Cheyenne the blogger and let me tell you I was not disappointed. The ambiance was beautiful. The service was especially great Jessica at the bar was so sweet and recommended delicious drinks for us. Thursday is ladies night so we were lucky some was free. The music was techno mix. Now for the food. The food was so fresh and made with love it was so tasty. It is so hard to say my favorite thing. I loved the fish buns number 1 then the oh my cod. The calamari was crisp and fantastic. The shrimp dip was delicious tortillas was hot and fresh so good. I loved the Yuca with the red onion salsa on top. All I can say is come and try it out just amazing. I loved the vibes and was a great place for a bite to eat and chill.

The octopus tentacle was INCREDIBLE, so much flavor and a much bigger portion than I thought it would be. I think some of the menu items are overpriced and that you're paying for the vibe, but a lot of the little touches were cool (like how your bill is tucked in a copy of Robinson Crusoe). I do think the decor is a little too eclectic, and is trying to be too many things. I can only vouch for the brunch vibe, because I came for brunch when it was much quieter and had a family friendly atmosphere. Customer service was excellent and the staff was so very helpful.

Possibly my all time favorite ceviche! The seafood here is sooo fresh. The people are very friendly and attentive. I came before late night club hours for dinner. I really enjoyed my experience here. Hoping to come back here every time I'm in Miami!

When I came last weekend the vibes were great, it was just extremely packed to the point that everyone was grinding up against each other. Which in that moment I didn't care because I figured it's at capacity and that's normal. Although, I realized when I was leaving the bar that someone had opened my purse and taken my entire wallet. I was bummed because I couldn't continue partying up the night. This led me to message them on Instagram, which was great because they told me to come in and drinks would be on them for the inconvenience. We got to the bar and I spoke with the bouncer and he said to go to the bartenders, that they would direct me to Rensel the bar manager. He was absolutely lovely, provided my friends and I a round of cocktails and told us to look for Sophia for another round. We didn't end up getting another round because we were exhausted from dancing the night away. It was still very nice and accommodating that they did that and we appreciated it. Sophia was very bubbly and attentive as well. Overall, if you are looking for a bar with a disco ball!! This is a cool spot to come to, they have so many different specialty cocktails. They are all delicious and unique! The music is great, the dj really keeps the crowd moving. For parking, there is a lot in the back of the establishment or street parking as well.

Loved the comfortable lounge like seating and scannable menus. The Sylvester has a great happy hour. Great cocktails, wine and beer choices. Looking at the menu, they have interesting cocktails. Seems like they put a spin on the traditional mixtures. Two that stood out to me were the whiskey sour and French martini. Delicious mixtures by bartender Robby. He was attentive and able to answer questions about their cocktail twist. Especially loved that he mentioned their 18% gratuity was already added to the check. We added a little something extra just for honesty :-D Overall loved The Sylvester. Great service, delicious drinks and in my opinion, perfect ambiance.

The appetizers were average, the main course was below average, and honestly, the only thing that stood out was the dessert, which was very good. The service was even worse. Our waiter disappeared multiple times, and at one point I had to fill my own wine glass because he was nowhere to be found. What made it worse was that the food runner was much more attentive than our actual waiter--he was polite, noticed our empty glasses, and actually filled them for us. For the prices and the reputation this restaurant has, I expected a much better experience. Unfortunately, the food and service did not come close to meeting those expectations. I would not return, and I would not recommend it based on my experience.

The sommelier (who I am terribly sorry to forget his name) also did a fantastic job recommending a wine to pair with all the different orders from our group. We arrived on time for our reservation made for "INSIDE SEATING" (note you will have to pay to make a reservation.) The unfriendly hostess walked us to an outdoor table - that despite the multitude of fans - was humid and uncomfortable. When I told her we didn't want a table outside it seemed to bother her and her response: we are really full I won't promise you anything (eye roll) and she proceeds to walk back through the aisle of empty tables to the front desk. Behind us was a couple who arrived AFTER we did. And can you believe they were escorted without an issue to the upstairs INSIDE SEATING dining area - to the very tables they apparently did not have for us!!! I have to wonder if this was profiling or she just didn't like our face? Guess not all guest are created equal here. Forced to seat us inside after my husband showed her the reservation for INSIDE seating she "accommodates" us downstairs next to the bathrooms in a tight miniature table on uncomfortable plastic wicker chairs between two large groups where we couldn't get out of our seat and had the view of a water damaged ceiling over our heads. After what seemed like quite a while the waiter (poor guy) came to greet us. Now this was the only highlight of this erroneous Michelin Star establishment. He seemed overworked with all the tables in that area but was polite attentive and funny. So pleasant that I wonder why he's working in this place. I had to ask for the bread that never came on its own. The drinks were ok. The food: Lobster - the pastry was soggy on the bottom and tasted slightly burnt on the outer crispy corners. The lobster was well cooked and the sauce was good but nothing spectacular. Hanger steak - the steak was very good - cooked exactly as ordered (medium rare). The sweet potato cakes crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside and the mushroom were cooked to perfection. Wish there was more of it, you get 2 sweet potato cakes the size of a strip of gum and 3 mushrooms slices. The halibut - hands down the most delicious thing on the menu. The fish was fresh and the caviar sauce was really exceptional - wish I had a spoon. Chocolate caramel - The dessert was a mix of flavor the chocolate has a tangy taste, the ice cream on the bottom was a nice surprise, however it left much to be desired - we left half on the plate. All in all the front of the house sets the tone and the horrid attitude of the hostess and the way she refused to sit us upstairs in our reserved requested dining area, soured our experience from the start. My understanding is that a Michelin Star is a highly sought status that entails the full experience of a dining establishment and I'm sorry to say they should rethink giving Le Jardinier this award in the future. Don't come here.
