No stencil? No marking of arch? Wow, I think - Diane must be a real pro at this. Yay. And, it's "happy hour" so she removes some less-than-feminine dark hairs from my upper lip as well - for free. Oh, how I wish she had left that alone and spent more time on a good brow job. On the way home, in better light, I see a large hank of eyebrow hair that has escaped removal. Playing phone tag with an admirably responsive Diane, I go back in and she graciously removes remaining hair. Still, no stencil, no arch measuring, nothing like previous visits to Anastasia counter. Why am I such a wuss about demanding adequate service? Why don't I call people on their shit? Both the top and bottom line of my brows are uneven where they have not been before, which I have to attribute to the wax job I received. If you've ever had a fine eyebrow wax done, you know it is very, very easy to fill in your brows and wind up with awesome eyebrows. I've had to work at it to figure out how to get my brows to look great, and that they look nice reflects much more on my experience and diligence than the wax job I got. I would have had just as good service, if not better, at a little strip mall Asian nail and waxing shop, at less than half the price ($30) so it feels like I threw away money on this service. Diane, you're a personable gal but you really need to sharpen your skills. Or maybe you had a bad day. Whatever it was, I got a crappy brow wax and won't be back to see you.

So when Allison advised me she would no longer be working there I was a little nervous...only to meet Danielle who does just as awesome of a job with these brows. Yes it's 30 instead of your usual 20 at most places but your brows comes out nice and even and not over plucked/waxed. They show you how to maintain it or fill it in if you ask...and that's well worth it in my book. Thirty every 4 weeks is nothing. I don't get my nails done or color my hair so good brows is something I will splurge on.

I felt relaxed, and the treatment did not feel rushed. Hope was so friendly and helpful describing all the different treatments to me, and I'm leaving feeling so refreshed and glowy. Lindsey immediately charged me full price for my first cancellation & said "I charged your card on file" . I understand the loss of a service but not even a " hey, is everything okay" "I want to give you the benefit of the doubt" & maybe charge half price. Now I will not return I even waited a day to think about if I should leave a review. I have been flexible for her over the 1 1/2 years but I was not treated the same. Stacia cut my hair. I'm scared that she used shears to thin my long hair, which made the process better. Another one, chair setup meant I got a lot of hair on my skin due to my soft pants, which wasn't comfortable seating on me like a sofa chair. However, she was very nice, friendly, and attentive to my needs. She even accommodated me earlier than my scheduled time. A month later, my hair feels happy, thinner, and soft. I appreciate her work and love how light my hair feels. I'm just afraid about shears my hair but it is worth it. I would return if I need another cut!

Thank you Cookie Nail Salon for the resolution. Initial review: For my 30th birthday I treated myself to gel x tortoise shell nails. It was my first time in the salon and it's so cute and comfortable. I wish I would've taken a picture of my nails, but just imagine very cookie cutter square nails, not filed well, and the polish was so bumpy like oatmeal. I was so disappointed. I actually went home and removed them as soon as possible. When I asked the front to look at my nails, they told me they were bumpy because of the design. I have been getting my nails done since I was 16 and I never had a nail tech create such a thick and bumpy build up of polish due to a design. I loved the customer service and free first time customer gift. But I will not be coming back.

She didn't make it smooth, it was bumpy but I was going to just roll with it. Then the top coat on other nails started peeling. And now, less than 4 days later, the polish cracked and broke off ....
