Everytime is a good time at this place! Foods are amazing & service is excellent. All the dishes here very tasty, not too sweet like other Thai places.

Panang lunch special was great and I went and ate it at the beach. The curry portion was a little small, but tasted great and the other sides were fresh. Recommend!

I live in SAN MARCOS near San Diego and come up here to camp from time to time which has the best campground right on the ocean at Carpinteria State Beach. I discovered this Thai restaurant ordering DoorDash and coming in and it is absolutely delicious and better than anything I've had locally in the big city. I have they recommend trying this place. The food is absolutely delicious. So far I had the fresh rolls, the chicken potstickers, garlic and pepper, beef, and the Tom Kai soup with shrimp. Everything is absolutely delicious. They really know what they're doing here and I can't wait to come back and visit again.

The lunch special was a great deal and served as a second meal the next day! Bonus!! Large portions and lots of options. The service was excellent. We sat outside but inside ambience was sweet. Ingredients were fresh and tasty. Only negative was the mayo dressing on the salad was overwhelming.

DOG FRIENDLY RESTAURANT The menu has a lot of food options. Service was up to par. I love the outdoor seatings. There are two cute wooden booth tables and we were lucky to be seated in one of them. They do have it outdoor heaters available. We tried the Tom Yum soup, Pad See Iew and duck curry $20.99 and Mango sticky rice. Portion size was just right. The only thing that I thought the restaurant should change is all curry come with a small bowl of rice. For a small size is $2.5 and medium was $4 and large $6. None of the curry dish come with rice which made the price for curry /rice a bit pricey. So we chose to get mango sticky rice $10.50 for dessert instead of spending it on bowl of rice. Great service from the servers. They were very friendly to us and our dog too.

This is such a classic place to eat for some yummy thai food. They are a local favorite and let me tell you why. Service is very attentive and friendly as always! Their cream cheese rangoons are fried perfectly and super creamy! Their chicken pad thai comes with rice and a small appetizer choice. Their tom kha soup is also very flavorful and perfect for any type of day! They have seating inside and outside as well. They also have beautiful art pieces throughout their restaurant.

Nice local spot in the heart of town. Plenty of outdoor seating and doggie friendly too. As for the food, we LOVED the special Soft Shell Crab w/ curry sauce. Such a different dish and we could never make this at home. Get a small side of rice to go with it. The Pad See Ew was also on point and devoured quickly. Looks like a family run place and the service was good as well. A must stop for anyone who loves Thai food, outdoor seating, and good vibes!

    welcome !!

They offer Thai dishes including noodle bowls, small plates, and handmade dumplings. We got the Northern Thailand Curry Noodles "Khao Soi" and the Tom Yum Noodles. The Khao Soi had egg noodles and chicken in a curry base broth with coconut milk, fish sauce, pickled mustard greens, cilantro, green onions, and housemade chili oil. They also give you crispy egg noodles to put on top. I appreciated that they wrapped this separately in foil, so they didn't get soggy right away! The chicken pieces were quite large, but overall the broth was tasty! I enjoyed the Tom Yum Noodles! For these, they use flat wheat noodles with Thai chili paste, bunashimeji mushrooms, white button mushrooms, fish sauce, red jalapeño, galangal herb, makrut lime leaves, lemongrass, cherry tomatoes, and cilantro. I chose chicken for my protein. The tom yum flavor really came through! They also give a pretty big portion! Since they are located in a food hall, you can sit at any of the tables. Empty Bowl will give you a pager, so you know when to return to the counter to pick up your food.

We visited Carpinteria for the first time as a little summer escape from the heat in Simi Valley,…read moreand after arriving hungry, we came across this place. What a great find! The restaurant was busy, with tables pretty much full both inside and outside, but luckily we were able to get seated without a wait. I ordered the fish tacos, my son had the linguini pomodoro, and my wife ordered the cioppino. Everything was delicious. The seafood tasted incredibly fresh, and the fish in the cioppino was so tender it practically melted in your mouth. The broth was rich and savory--maybe a little on the salty side, but we still really enjoyed it. The service was another highlight. Everyone was kind, friendly, and welcoming, and you could tell the staff was working hard to make sure everyone had a good experience. I also really liked how diverse the menu is. There are plenty of choices for different tastes, whether you're in the mood for seafood, pasta, tacos, or something else. Overall, this was an awesome first experience and a great discovery during our trip to Carpinteria. We'll definitely be back next time we're in town, and we're looking forward to trying more dishes from the menu!

Unfortunately, after giving Teddy's by the Sea multiple chances, the problems have become too consistent to overlook. We've had repeated issues with online orders--food mixed up or not prepared the way we ordered it. On one occasion, we even found a piece of plastic in our lobster mac and cheese. But the most frustrating issue has been the completely inconsistent closing time. They advertise that they're open until 8:30 PM, yet we've shown up as early as 7:40 PM and been told they're already closed. This hasn't happened just once--it's happened to us multiple times. We really used to enjoy coming here, but between the order mistakes, the plastic in the food, and never knowing whether they'll actually be open during their posted hours, we've finally given up. If you advertise that you're open until 8:30, customers should reasonably be able to expect you to be open at 7:40.
