I would not recommend buying items from them. I purchased something and paid expedited shipping and was told that it takes their warehouse 3 to 4 days to process the order for shipping. I only found this out by calling them because I never received my order and it was showing transaction pending in my bank account. I paid for 2 day expedited shipping and when I asked their customer service rep to please speak to a manager, he put me on hold and said that no one was available, and he would just refund my order. I told him NOT to cancel my order, but I want a manager to contact me. There is nothing on their website that states it take 3 to 4 days to process your order for shipment and if it did, I sure would have not wasted my time to order from them and paying for the expedited shipping fee. I ordered nine RC model airplane parts from the Active Powersports branch website, but two of the items were missing in the shipment. I sent an email to them. It's been 2 week-days since I sent an email describing the problem but did not receive any response within the 24 hour period they state on their web site. There was no packing slip or mention as to why those two items were not included in the shipment, but they took my money for ALL the items. I was notified a day later that the order is now awaiting shipment. Three days go by -- no further updates. I emailed them on the 4th day to check on the status -- did not receive a reply. So these folks are infamous for unhappy customers, but my experience was okay. I ordered a dozen bottles of Lionel Smoke Fluid from their hobby site activepowersports.com. Their price was the best of anywhere, even with shipping, so I rolled the dice. A week after ordering, it took three emails to even get a terse reply to my query as to where my order was. It arrived today, exactly what I ordered. It took 13 days from order until arrival at my house, which was shipped Fedex from San Diego to Long Beach (overnight for Fedex ground.) It actually shipped yesterday, 12 days after I placed the order. So pretty clear they don't have items in stock, and it's just a matter of them ordering from their supplier and then shipping to the customer. I did have one previous experience where they advertised an item that was out of stock everywhere else. After taking my money, I eventually determined that they didn't have it and weren't going to get it. So they did refund my money, but it was a pain and a waste of time.
