Cheese, sausage, fresh sliced mushrooms and onions! Crispy thin crust! This is what was left after two of us were full!

When I was looking online for a good pizza, I came across Side Street Station. After some of the reviews regarding their pizza, we decided to order one. I was told 7:25 pick up so I got there about 10 minutes early to pay. The pizza was done at 7:25 as promised. When the young lady handed me my 16" cheese, sausage, mushroom and onion pizza I couldn't imagine why it was so heavy. Once I opened the box, I saw why! Lots of real cheese,,, fresh sliced mushrooms and onions and huge chunks of tasty sausage! It smelled great and the taste didn't let us down. And the crust...it was thin and crispy...yummy! I'd say it was the best pizzas I've had in a long time! Definitely worth the $21!

Burgers were fantastic tonight as well as the Chicken Parm. Fish plates last week = amazing! Maybe pizza next week?

The lemon pizza featured lemon flavor, of course, but it was perfectly balanced with the flavors of the smoked mozzarella, basil, arugula, and EVOO! The Beef Marsala was rich, but not too rich, in flavor with very tender pieces of beef braised in a red wine reduction and accompanied by mushrooms, creme fraiche, basil, mozzarella, and a delicious Marsala demi drizzle The crust on both was perfectly crispy with a slight chew. They call it Roman style pizza, in that the dough is made fresh in-house in the same manner the traditional Roman pizza (think thick, rectangular pizza) dough is made, but as a "pie" shape, you get a light, crunchy edge and crispy thin crust. It was unlike anything I've had in the Milwaukee area. My friend and I also started with glass of Macedonian pinot noir and finished with a traditionally small pour of Vin Chaud, which is similar to mulled wine. Both were fantastic! There are some gems in Elkhart Lake, and Harry's is one of them. I highly recommend you add Harry's to your list when in or near Elkhart Lake. This is the same family that opened Harry's Prohibition Bistro and Harry's Diner in Sheboygan, which I've also enjoyed in recent years!

We took out Harry's and it was great!! Had to serve 25ish people and it was a hit. Super easy to…read moreorder ahead of time online and pick up that night. I would say a more "upscale" or wood fired pizza with crispy crust - however the pizzas run on the smaller side, so make sure to order more than normal. The veggie, pepperoni and cheese were huge hits with the family! I probably would skip the house salad next time as it was a small portion for catering a big party.

Ambience and Experience: We were looking for a good Italian place and it had good reviews on Google…read moreso we decided to give this place a shot. You order at the bar and then wait in that area until you are seated at a table in the dining room. While we waited, we decided to try a couple of their fall cocktails. Not great, the drinks were very weak and you could tell were made with the cheapest booze available. Presentation was neat but the first sip quickly disintegrated the hype. Food: I have a nagging suspicion that most of what we ordered was not made fresh in-house. Everyone at our table ordered pasta except for one kid's meal and when glancing around at the tables around us, everyone had ordered just pizza. I think that is what this place is know for because their pasta ain't it. My wife and I tried the gnocchi and ravioli. You could tell they were not made in-house, especially the gnocchi (gummy, chewy texture is a dead giveaway. True homemade gnocchi will melt in your mouth). The sauces lacked spunk and everything just tasted canned and frozen to me. Portion sizes were also on the smaller side yet prices were expensive. $18 for frozen/packaged ravioli in a maybe homemade sauce (didn't taste like it)? Yeah right. Every chef knows that pasta is an easy dish to make good money on because pasta is cheap and easy to make, $18 for pasta with no protein additions is absurd. I will say the kid's pizza was probably the best dish on the table. You could tell that was made fresh and with real ingredients. Not sure why that did not translate to the pastas. So weird. Verdict: Staff were friendly and service was prompt but the food and drinks were lackluster at best. Not worth the price for a sit down meal, more along the line of quick service. Not sure if something was just off the night we went since this place is fairly well liked in the area, not sure.

I keep going back and forth on my review. One thing to note, the fried ravioli appetizer is spicy,…read morelike jalapeño flavor. I wish the menu stated this or the server told us. Too spicy for me. I ordered the daily special. Pasta, chicken, asparagus, tomatoes, sun dried tomatoes, shaved Parmesan cheese with a garlic olive oil sauce. It was boring. No flavor, hardly any parm cheese and no sun dried tomatoes. My hubby got the stuffed shells and it was really good! He ordered a side of meatball and sausage but there was no sauce. Just odd. He had to ask for extra sauce. The cheesy garlic bread and minestrone soup are yummy. Some delicious meals and some meals eh. I will be back. I just need to stick with the baked penne and meatball. Always good service.
