If you walk inc and see a bunch of children running around because it's school fundraiser night, then you should turn around, walk out and go somewhere else. We were unfortunate enough to have a table right in between two of the tables that knew each other. The tables are close together and kept being bumped by people going back and forth to talk to each other, which was making me very uncomfortable. Service was slow even though our server was hustling. You could tell he was overwhelmed with the crowd. Husband and I ordered two sliders each, cheese curds and pickle fries. The food was good! My favorite was the chicken slider. We left very full. We hosted our company Christmas party at Sidecar Slider Bar in Sterling Heights with about 150 guests, and the experience was outstanding. The team shut down the restaurant for us and handled the rush better than most places could. Service was organized, friendly, and on top of everything. The buffet food was excellent: sliders, salad, tots, mac and cheese, chicken tenders, pretzel bites, and pizza. Most items were a 10 out of 10, which is rare for buffet service. Drinks were great too, with a solid cocktail and beer selection. I especially want to thank the short brunette bartender working on the golf simulator side. I didn't catch her name, but she took incredible care of me and my team. The manager and the rest of the staff were equally impressive. The golf simulator, billiards, and arcade games were major hits. This location really has something for everyone. Fantastic experience all around. Highly recommend. read more

This was my first time here, popping in for happy hour! My friend and I got a margarita, old fashion, and a beer. My margarita was good! I also ordered wings. Now the wings were burnt and super hard/dry. I didn't ask for them to be well done so I'll assume that's how they come. Super dry on the inside where the meat wasn't even white. It could have been rebaked/refried idk. I was disappointed. My friend got the slice of pizza which was underwhelming as well. It tasted like liquor store pizza and not the good kind either. There was hardly any sauce, the cheese wasn't the best either. This is definitely a place for drinks and not food. I hope the sliders are better than the chicken and pizza. Had a really nice experience here during an early Saturday dinner. This space is HUGE and hopefully Sidecar is here to stay, as this spot seems to rotate businesses in and out rather quickly. Our server was awesome! He kept our drinks full and stopped by to make sure everything was OK throughout our stay. Very attentive and pleasant. I saw the tap list had Stone Ruination and I've not had that beer in many years, so I was excited to get to have it again, but the beer that came out of that tap was NOT Ruination. It was a Stone Hazy IPA... Not a big deal, and I'd guess that the list was just out of date? I placed an order for three sliders and we split the Garlic Parm Waffle Fries, which were great! I ordered The Rojo, Fried Chicken and B Ham, and while the sliders were very good, I got the Dirty Bird rather than the Fried Chicken. The three sliders were deceptively filling, especially when paired with the waffle fries. You could probably get away with two. The meat was prepared well, and the sliders had just enough toppings so they presented well, but were not overflowing so they were easy to eat. The B Ham had a very interesting combination of flavors with the blue cheese and zip aioli, and the avocado turned the Rojo from a "standard" burger into just something a bit more with it's unique flavor and texture. The Dirty Bird had a nice buffalo sauce; that familiar buffalo flavor with a slight amount of heat that won't offend anyone that doesn't eat spicy food. They were all delicious! I didn't bring up the beer/slider mishap. It's not that big of a deal, but I'm sure they would have made it right... Other than not getting a few of the items that I had expected, the service was great and the food was all very good. I think this may end up in the rotation! Check it out! read more

Nothing is notable about the food here. Service was good until we got our food then they disappeared. I liked the ambience and set up of the bar - we came at about 9pm on Friday and sat at the bar. I wouldn't return here for the food. However I would come for a drink at the bar again. Nice place, 20 big screens, games, good food, good beer and cocktail selections, fair prices and great service. Happy Hour some cocktails 1/2price and some apps were 6$. They didn't skimp on the serving size or the liquor. Christina our server did a good job explaining the different items. We had the portabela slider and the italian calzone both were excellent and quality. For Happy Hour we had the meatballs, the Brussel sprouts and the pretzel bites. We stumbled on this place because it was near our hotel. The place is very spacious. We sat at the bar and enjoyed a couple beers and sliders. You can pick what you want on the sliders which was perfect for us! Lots of choices for beer which was also great. They had a young man singing for entertainment. He was very good singing Johnny Cash and current songs. This would be a great place if we only lived closer. We did find out from our friends that live local that this is a chain. Check it out! I was in the area, and needed to grab dinner. I sat at the huge bar, and everywhere you looked there were TVs. The bartenders were on top of everything, and took great care of me. The place is really busy, and that was an early dinner. I ended up getting three sliders: the salmon, the chicken and the Rojo. The Rojo was really tasty, the salmon needed something else on it, the hot sauce was just the ticket. The chicken one was ok, the syrup made the bottom soggy, and all the ingredients didn't quite work well together. I'd stick with hamburger ones next time. But since they have a big menu, there's a lot to choose from, even besides sliders. read more

Our Adult Transition students visited Sidecar Slider Bar for the first time a couple weeks ago. We were blown away by the service, the food, and space. Our server, Mark, was AMAZING - he took all 5 of our tables by himself and we were very impressed with how patient and kind he was. We have been wanting to try this place for a little while. The food was good but the service could be a bit better. Maybe it was just me but we got there at 5:50 (Happy Hour ends @ 6). Our waiter put down a few napkins and said he would be back to take our drink order... he reappeared again for our drink order at 6:01. We didn't specifically go for the Happy Hour but this being our first time, it would have been nice to take advantage of that special. My husband and I ordered 2 sliders each and shared the loaded tots. The portion sizes were decent. Came here alone and before work during happy hour. Whoever my bartender was made my margarita perfect. It was strong and just right. The restaurant gave me a vintage feel like back when the Model T was a thing . I ordered the Parmesan garlic waffle fries which were on the happy hour menu as well for $6. And then I ordered three sliders. The sliders themselves are not pricey at all! And they are pretty big in size so two will do you Justice. The fried were sooo good and whatever sauce they use is the best . Every warming them up after 2 days they still tasted almost as good as fresh to be honest. The smokehouse slider was good. It came with jalapeños and an onion ring with pepper Jack cheese. The salmon slider was OK. I wish the salmon was seasoned a little bit more and they could've held off on the cucumber and added a special sauce and the pulled pork I literally stuffed my face just to eat this one because I cant let yo on a hood pulled pork sandwich. Visited on a Thursday around 9pm. It's a sports bar with an attached room with virtual golfing. We were told to sit where ever; there were a lot of options. Food service was average timeliness; drinks came a little slowly. The pretzel bits and waffle fries were very good. The wings and fried chicken slider were a little dry. Beware, the pizza calzone has mushrooms. The water refill from the pitcher tasted fairly bad. All things considered, would be a fun place for apps and drinks during a game. read more

This place is pretty dirty . Way under staffed & the staff that is there real don't seem to care to put any effort into there job & are not the friendliest. For a place that has slider in their name , the sliders suck (all of them . We were there for a party) , chicken wings were cooked great but absolutely no seasoning . Drinks way way over priced & only higher end liquor at a slider bar pretty ridiculous , bartenders were terrible & sloppy with the drinks for the cost . Would not recommend or come back ever . Sidecar has a nice space for indoor golf, arcade games, great bar, and really amazing food! Their menu is HUGE, so it makes picking pretty hard! We tried a little bit of everything! The 2 am slider was SOOO good! The Greek slider and the peanut butter and jelly sliders were also other favorites! The bacon wrapped hot dog was tasty, hard to taste the bacon, but it was super flavorful. The fried pickle hot dog was the best of both worlds because you get to try their hot dog and a little fried pickle action! Well well well. In a world where true honest to goodness sliders are becoming a rarity there is the Sidecar. I have tried three different offerings but I think I found my sweet spot today. Today I had the 2AM, hold the pickles. Now what I am about to say may not sound like the compliment it is meant to be, but this is high praise. The 2AM is a slider, caramelized onion ketchup and mustard. This little burger took me back to the old greasy spoons of the 70's and 80's where they sold sliders for $0.30, $0.40 cents each cooked from a grill that dated from the 20's and might not have been cleaned-ever. This slider was so delicious I don't know if I will order another burger anywhere else. Absolute perfection. I was texting friends and sending pics while there, my 17 year old grandson was doing the same. I may go back tomorrow. I should add, huge place, great tap, full bar and seems like some kind of golf thing connected. read more
