Went here for a work meeting and I'd have to say, this is a cool place to have a meeting, or team building. Outside of eating, there's plenty free games to engage in. The service was good seeing that the server had to serve 20 plus people. The lunch menu was a hit! They have good lunch deals under $20 that includes salad and a drink. Loved the flatbread pizza. Great staff. Nice bartenders. A larger venue that can accommodate any party size. And the biggest salad I've ever been served (I tried the Mediterranean but they had a few other choices like Southwestern and Cobb). But three stars because the place is designed to be as noisy as possible, and that took away from our experience. A sound system and acoustic engineering that bad could only be created on purpose by someone who believes that profits are somehow proportional to noise levels. And when I say noise, I don't just mean volume. The sound system was certainly loud, but it was also really bad - so bad you could hardly even tell what song was playing. I found that pretty off putting and totally unnecessary. We were in the large room in the back with the large screen TVs. It might have been a different experience seated elsewhere. Great location & plenty of parking. I visited Sidecar on a Friday night & Wednesday night and I was satisfied both times. Wednesday night was karaoke night & it was a blast. The place is clean, plenty of seating & has fun things to do (darts, basketball, etc.). While all that is great, I must say, I go simply because the SHORT RIB GRILL CHEESE and LEMON PEPPER WINGS are heaven on earth! The drinks and service are great too. I came here for a friend's birthday outing on a Friday evening. Parking on a Friday night in this area is difficult, so be prepared. This was my first time here. There are quite a few activities & games around which are cool. We sat in the back area near the stage. There were about 10 of us there. Service was pretty good overall. This is a great place for sports watching! There are multiple huge screens and you will get a good view of the game no matter where you sit! They also have a few games for half time (an 8 player foosball table, corn hole, basketball hoops) the service is good and everyone is very friendly but when the place gets crowded, be ready to wait for your food. Visited this spot for.the first time and was up charged by 75%. I was at the bar and asked to keep my tab open when ready to close out the bartender would not give me my receipt. First I was given someone else then he waived another in my face and said I was good and it was closed out. Without allowing me to sign. Reached out to management as I saw a larger charge on my card which they then sent me a receipt of items I never consumed such as food and not my signature and said if want to dispute to call my card. The service was not great, and neither was my food. My friend liked her meal, which was the skillet and some French toast. I was not so lucky having ordered the chicken fried steak. It was fried too hard with some of the crust had no meat in it and the meat had a funny taste. I can say the biscuit was good. I could've been more satisfied, but she made 0 attempts to accommodate my disappointment in the meal. I have really been missing out on this social scene. The location of this restaurant is extremely busy, plan ahead, wait times for a table is not fun in the least bit. The hostesses were very welcoming, we had to wait, but the bar was open so we sat there until a table was open on the patio. Talk about lucky! Friday nights are super busy. Packed house, but they have game tables where you can hang out and play as time goes by. If you're into loud party scene and music, you will love it here, as they have that vibe on the inside. The patio is even better with beautiful lights, a bar you can order from, live music playing, while the club vibe is on the inside. The Southern Breakfast Platter (eggs, bacon, potatoes and biscuits) was just ok but pretty hard to mess up Southern Fried Chicken Tenders were bland. We were able to choke it down and get on with our day of errands for a reasonable price. The bartender was ok. The typical post-COVID experience that we are all adjusting to.
