Puerco Pasilla (rear) and El Miguelito (front) chips and salsa

Update 4/25/25: went back with another couple on a Friday evening. Made a rez on open table. Got there about 20 minutes early hoping to be seated sooner than the rez but it was very busy. They also had that bar area to the left of the entrance set up for a private party, so this puts more pressure on both indoor and outdoor seating. Finally our number came up, and we were seated on the patio, which is great because it was very noisy inside. I'm not sure I could have handled that high level of noise. Us older folks really have a hard time hearing in noisy places! The weather was delightful as a dry(er) front had move in after all the rain so it was cooler and far less humid than it had been a few hours before. It couldn't have been better. Service was a bit slow, but we didn't mind as were were dining with friends and we had lots to talk about. Both my wife and I ordered the exact same beverages and entrees as our visit before, we liked them that much. And they didn't disappoint! One of our friends orders the Mexican ceviche appetizer and it looked awesome! The other ordered an enchilada dish and he like his as well. All in all it was a very pleasant evening. I absolutely love the Miguelito plate. Amazing enchiladas, taco, beans and rice. Slaw was ok. I eat it because it has vegetables but I'm not enamored with it lose the rest of the dish.

I have had nothing but a wonderful things to say about this restaurant. Always festive, always tasty, the view on the patio is absolutely phenomenal, the service is always great, the cocktails are wonderful. All around my friends and I love a beautiful day on the patio.

The family and I went here for dinner on a Saturday. We have now been to four Mesero restaurants in the Dallas area. This one is the largest and has a gorgeous patio that overlooks a golf course. it would be great to sit on the patio when the weather is nice. As at other Mesero restaurants, the restaurant is clean and modern. There are tons of servers and so we were seated and immediately attended to. The wife and I had our favorite Meserita margarita and the kid had a soda. The Meserita has excellent flavor and is really tasty. We ordered our old favorites. For me, that was the chili rellano and for the wife that was the braised pork. Both were really good, but I would note that her pork portion was quite a bit smaller than at the Inwood Village location, and my rellano came with mayo-based cole slaw whereas we always get a slaw that is vinegar based at Mesero. Our server, Alexa, who was really nice and friendly, swapped it out with no problem. We started becoming churros fans so we ended with that and they were excellent. They are served warm and unlike others, the caramel is inside. Wow, they are good. Fattening, yes, but oh so good. My one critique is that there was a $3 discrepancy between the price listed on the menu for my rellano and the price I was charged. I did not say anything but I think what you see is what you should pay. Maybe they need to update their menu if the price has changed. Overall, a really good meal, gorgeous restaurant, and excellent service. All the things that we have come to expect when we visit a Mesero restaurant.

I see these all over Dallas and I finally decide to try. This place gives me like Gloria's cousin. The food was really good like honestly I was so impressed. The three different types of salsas were a good touch and all of them honestly were super good. They all tasted different. I had the chicken enchiladas and it was really good. I also love the fact that they have unlimited beans because that's a great touch. It's really cute in the inside and they also have outdoor seating with heated spacers and it overlooks what I think is a golf course. So the vibe is very sexy inside and outside. I think this place is great for date night and even catching up with family and friends. The service was really great. I will come back again to try drinks.

We got a last minute reservation on a Friday night to grab a meal before a movie and we're very impressed! The drinks were strong (zero sugar frozen?? Count me in!!) and the food was delicious. Everything was very fresh and homemade. It's a big restaurant and can definitely get loud, but the room on the right of the entrance by the bar is a little separate and quieter.

    Golf course view!

So disappointed they dropped the fried green tomatoes from the menu. Prices are reasonable, especially for spirits and beer. We started with the chicken fried quail tenders, which had a fantastic dipping sauce with them. For entrées, we had the New York strip chicken fried steak and the steak frites. I wasn't crazy about the chicken fried steak as it was a ton of batter and a very thin, thin piece of steak inside. I don't think I would order it again. The mashed potatoes and green beans and jalapeño gravy were very good though. My friend enjoyed the steak frites.

I ordered the roasted chicken dish which came with mashed potatoes and green beans which were all delicious. I'm not usually a leftovers kind of gal, but I brought home my chicken dish leftovers and ate it for lunch the next day. I will definitely be back here and soon (especially for those deviled eggs).

I had booked a reservation on Resy and we were seated immediately in a small, intimate booth. Initially, it was not terribly loud, but as the evening progressed and several large parties were seated nearby; the sound of the music was completely drowned out. I think more noise abatement measures could be taken to absorb some of the obtrusive loudness we were getting. For a starter, we ordered the Calamari. It was fried perfectly and was great, but the Thai Sticky sauce was too sweet and the consistency of the sauce was thin. It needed something to make it more viscous, and a secondary sauce, like a marinara or even an aioli would've been nice to balance out the sweetness of the Thai sauce. For an entree, I ordered the Maple- Ginger Salmon. The salmon was cooked perfectly and itself was delicious, but the sauce was too sweet and rich. The fired rice that accompanied my meal was over-the-top salty. It was almost going into "too much" territory. For desert we split the Passion Fruit Ice Cream Pie. This was actually very good and not overly sweet. It was my favorite item from my meal. Overall Renny's truly employs a lot of care and attention to the food, but some of the items crossed a line into "too much" territory. Be it sweetness or saltiness, the kitchen could exercise a bit of restraint to let the flavors of the food shine.

We had the deviled eggs and lump crab cakes to start, and both were SO good. Prices were great too. Our waitress, Staci (or Stacy), was AMAZING. Sweet, funny, great at banter, and incredibly attentive. Even when she was busy, she never made us feel like we were inconveniencing her. When she was at our table, we had her full attention, she checked on us the perfect amount, and we never had to ask for anything twice. She was on top of her game! My only complaint was a really awkward interaction at the end. I wanted to ask Staci two simple questions: whether they carried an olive gin I'd had in Europe (they didn't, but I haven't found it anywhere) and whether I could buy a roll of quarters because we were going to play pool. Somehow this turned into 5-6 staff members gathering around, plus this random blonde lady in a white T-shirt and jeans joining the conversation. Aside from Staci and the blonde lady, no one else even acknowledged me. They just stood there looking at me. It was weird. It felt like a lot of unnecessary attention over two simple questions and made me pretty uncomfortable. Having another customer involved was honestly the weirdest part. It was disappointing because we'd had such a great experience up until then. I went from thinking, "I need to bring my friends here!" to leaving feeling pretty unwelcome. Food: delicious. Atmosphere: beautiful. Prices: great. Staci: WONDERFUL. I just wish the interaction at the end had matched the rest of the experience. I changed my rating from two stars to four stars because I didn't feel like one bad interaction was worth two stars and I was a little flustered when I originally wrote my review.

I got a lemon dropped....it came with a huge piece of cotton candy (aka "citrus candy floss") on top that the waiter didn't bother to tell me I need to push down into the glass. He did warn me it was going to be an extremely sweet drink....and it was. I then thought I'd try a white cosmo. Good drink, but they use a craft ice cube with a flower in it....and then put it in a shallow glass. So at some point, the ice cube was just resting on my nose so I could drink. How has no one noticed this flaw? He preferred the smoke signal over the long watch. He said the long watch had a flavor he just didn't particularly enjoy. Shared some appetizers: cheeseburger was pretty good. He really liked the oysters...and that they serve the mignonette on the side. And he really, really enjoyed the mignonette. I don't enjoy salmon, but thought we'd try the dip. It didn't turn me into a salmon lover, but he thought it was pretty good. I got the bucatini and it was delicious. Great chunks of crab. I was pretty full so took most of it home....it did not reheat as well as I would've like. But, it's a cream sauce, so that's expected. He got the tagliatelle. He also enjoyed it, but probably wouldn't get it again. He just wasn't blown away. Just a lot of little things that would make me drive down the road rather than come back.
