My team had our holiday party here. It's a bit hard to find the place and the place to turn into the parking area. The place is made to resemble a prohibition era bar and has a rustic yet cozy atmosphere with hip music playing in the background. The host and staff were friendly. Our party had 2 large charcuterie boards. They tasted alright but I wish there was a bit more flavor (as I've tasted other charcuterie boards before) and that there were more crackers and baguette pieces for all the cheeses and such. Some of us ordered the Street Tacos from the menu. These tacos had green chili chicken that were garnished with pickled red onion and cilantro. They were pretty good and the price was very reasonable for them. We also ordered the Tomato and Goat Cheese. This was whipped goat cheese with a mixture of cherry tomatoes, shallots, garlic, and some herbs. The spread tasted alright but was a bit pricey for the small plate. There was a bit of confusion with ordering and the bill but the hosts were nice and we got the situation straightened out. My coworkers also enjoyed some of the wines there too. We all had a great time and it was an interesting experience. read more

This spot is a small hidden gem in Dripping Springs, it was our first visit to this place. It was a beautiful Sunday so we decided to see what this place was all about. It's beautifully decorated on the inside with lovely decor. It has outdoor seating in the back and on the front porch. The wine was lovely and decently priced. Ana is very sweet the service was awesome. We will back maybe for a night time date. read more

Went today with friends. Had the red wine flight...rose', montepulciano and the Tempranillo...liked them all but not enough to buy. Had the meat and cheese plate...yum. Had a great time at Sidecar. Stopped in for lunch and a flight of wines as our first stop in Dripping and really enjoyed the setup. Lunch is from a food truck (trailer) on site. My group tasted reds and whites and all were very tasty. Food was good - had burgers and they were good quality. Setup was nice with covered tables outdoors or an indoor option. I didn't check out the brewery onsite but did see some guys partaking in the brews. I would not hesitate to return. read more

Top of the hill on the wines! This place rocks and yes I would recommend. They also have beer. They have a small food menu with homemade empanadas and cheese trays . If you have a sweet tooth they have chocolate bars that pair well with wine. So check this place as a must do! We love it. read more

We came through Dripping Springs on the way to Fredericksburg and, after visiting Hamilton Pool, came here for a cold craft beer. Sidecar did not disappoint. Bell Springs Brewing Co is three years old and owned by the winery. I can say that the beer was exceptional. The vibe is cool and the outdoor area is beautiful under the live oaks. They were serving nine craft brews and, although they did not offer flights, I tasted several and highly recommend a visit. We will come again! read more

Great little place to go taste and snack! We had a flight of the white and red and they were great. We had one of each of the empanadas and all three were so good! I'm not sure where they get those things but they are amazing. My favorite was the bbq one. They also have games you can play. Would be a good place for a date! read more

Pretty good wine tasting. We did the red wine tasting. My favorite wine was the Tranquillo wine. $15 for 3 wines which is a little weak for wine tasting but the cool ambience made the trip worth it and the portions weren't weak. read more

Absolutely great place to stop by if you are in the Dripping Springs area. The service was top-notch and the decor is really eclectic! They have wine flight options or you can enjoy a glass if you chose. The server was incredibly knowledgeable and had great recommendations for everyone in our group. She let us try what we wanted before committing to our drink of choice. I ended up going to wine cocktail called the Texas Kiri and it fresh rosemary in it which I though was a nice touch! They also have live music outside and plenty of areas to sit and enjoy listening to it. Definitely try this place out! read more

Talk about southern hospitality. So we came here from a airbnb in dripping springs. It was a little far for an Uber to pick us up, but we got one. So we are there enjoying wine glasses, wine flights, food, the atmosphere. Everything about this place is so cute and amazing. But trying to get an Uber home seemed unlikely. Everyone kept cancelling on us and the bartender Ann or Annie (plus the last two customers) kept telling us that we were not gonna walk the 2 miles home. Annie made sure that we stayed till she closed and literally DROVE US BACK TO THE AIR BNB!!!. She was the sweetest thing and didn't even want to take any money from us. We had a back and forth of take it, no keep it, take it!! Haha I'm 80% sure I got the money in her cupholder before I left but I was the tipsy one so who knows haha. I really hope I did because driving us back to our Airbnb was above and beyond. read more

We were in town for another winery quarterly wine pick up party. That winery no longer allows you to open your bottles of wine at the party or allow dogs. As such, it wasn't a great day. We decided to go some place else. We showed up around 4pm on a Sunday and had the entire place to ourselves. It is so cute. I love the decorations and the vibe. We did the wine tasting which is $7 or waved if you buy a bottle of wine. Megan was wonderful. She was full of information and funny. We had such a wonderful time we decided to join Bell Springs wine club. Three bottles a quarter. No sign up fee. They have a wine pick up party that allows you to bring your dogs. 20% discount the first year and the discount increases every year you are a member. Free wine tasting for you and four people either at Side Car or the winery itself. You also get to pick which three bottles you want. We signed up on the spot. What is NOT to like! We enjoyed many of their wines but really it was Megan. She made us feel so welcomed and was so friendly. Bell Spring treat her right, she is a HUGE asset to you. We can't wait to attend our first wine pick up party. Hope to make it to first Thursday soon and hang out at the Side Car. If we lived in Dripping Springs this would be a weekly stop for us. What a great place in this sleepy town. We are so glad to part of their wine club and excited for the many cool events moving forward. This should be a place to stop if you are in Dripping Springs. read more

Visiting from California and we wanted to go wine tasting and this was a winery nearby so we decided to give it a try. No regrets! Anne was very welcoming and friendly. She also gave us information on other wineries/breweries/distilleries to try. I had the $15 flight of reds and she also gave me an extra cup of red wine, Needy B*tch, I ended up buying a bottle! I finally found a great bottle of red that I actually enjoy, sad that I can't get it shipped to me in California. Drippin' Sweet is also great, bought a bottle as well. The building itself and the interior are so cute. Kind of romantic and dimly lit, in an old timey, country way. The wine tasting itself was not that impressive. I really didn't care for the Sauvignon Blanc and the other dry white I tasted, the Sangiovese red was fine, and the Tempranillo was pretty good. But I didn't buy any of the bottles to take home because I really wasn't that impressed by the wine itself. If I was in the area or lived nearby, I'd stop by to enjoy a drink in the cute atmosphere, but for wine tasting or wine buying, I wouldn't go out of my way to visit here or recommend it to a friend. read more

Their is a variety of wine and drinks, so there is something for everyone. The staff members are great, and we always have a great time. Highly Recommend! read more

I adore this wine and winery. The Sidecar is an adorable little venue to have a glass with friends. Ask for Liz, she is an amazingly sweet soul that will steer your tasting according to your likes. But, whatever you do, do not bring your under 21 child. They will unapologetically kick you out. You're not even allowed to sit outside with your child and have a a glass and enjoy. I understand that you can make the rules that you want for your own business. But, if you're in the middle of an extremely family friendly town and your the only one to exclude children, it doesn't bode well with most potential patrons. read more

Wooohoooo who did the decor on this place!!! I want to live in this adorable 1950 speak easy type.... we love it! Sidecar has fantastic snacks for paring and an inviting outdoor patio. Not a bad word to say other than kids not allowed make this place both awesome and irritating. We tote our child with us everywhere and having drinks and snacks happens to be one place we want to experience as a family. read more

Who doesn't love a great glass of wine or draft beer? Sidecar Tasting Room was created as a second tasting room for Bell Springs Winery & Brewery and to pay tribute to the prohibition era. Located in the heart of the historic downtown of Dripping Springs, Texas, Sidecar occupies an old house on 1/2 an acre on Old Fitzhugh Rd. Their bistro serves a great menu. We sipped on their tasty wild cherry and peach sangrias (made with their balsamic vinegars) and thought that their lemon caesar salad with chicken was excellent. We got a wine tasting and got a sparkling wine followed by a white and two reds. The two reds were a syrah and pinot noir. Of course with Sonoma you have to have some burgundian fruit and the pinot noir was very nice. The campus is really nice with a texan-rustic vibe and some handmade stone carvings to peer out to. THE FINAL BAMBOO: A wine tasting was around $20 and all were delicious. Will be back when I have an itch for California wines.

The Scotch Ale at 8.0abv comes in a small 10oz pour and the IPA was a full 16oz. In the past the riesling has been my fave wine wise. Both were full flavored and refreshing to drink on the patio with my dog. The service here has always been so friendly. The wine tasting are guided by pros that are well educated about wine. The same for the brewery where they'll give you free tasting cups. The outside country location is so beautiful. Like being on a ranch. Picnic tables, lawn games, and often live music (or at least good music over the speakers). Btw, as a dj myself I wonder if they'd ever like some jazzy house grooves or something on the patio on the weekend? What would that involve to do periodically on an afternoon?

The red wines were very light and the first 2 too tart for my liking. Everyone has their personal preference. It was definitely worth stopping. It was really disappointing as the expectation was a nice afternoon at the winery with the group and it ended up being two separate groups and standing the whole time at a counter wasn't enjoyable.
