Awesome wine bar, nice selection, reasonable prices. Great atmosphere inside and out. Staff knows their stuff! Plus a food truck on site!

They are attached, all one building. They are really responsive! I accidentally booked a reservation for 14 instead of 13, asked for a refund, and received it within a day. We arrived 10 minutes early for our appointed tasting time, and spent it wandering around the shop. We were led to the back tasting room on time and seated with a delicious tasting set of 6 olive oils and 4 balsamic vinegars, along with some bread as a palette cleanser. Our host was very informative and each olive oil and balsamic were noticeably different. The Sicilian was a great tasting Olive Oil x Italian Herb type of feeling, and most of the olive oils had the authentic black peppery aftertaste. I ended up going home with some of the Terra Verde to share with people, as well as the fig balsamic vinegar. We ended up eating at the bistro here, too (Order-to-entree: ~25 minutes-35 minutes for the entire table of 13). The flatbread was very sharable among two people. Everyone did comment on how the olive oil notes stood out in their dishes! The prices were extremely reasonable and they set aside a long table for our large group, great service all around. Overall, we had a great experience here and would definitely recommend the tasting for a unique nonalcoholic experience in the area.

We can specifically for the 2pm curated olive Oil tasting, and we had somewhat of a mixed experience. The tasting started a bit late, and there wasn't much direction or acknowledgment of our crew waiting around unsure of where to go or what to do. Once we were finally invited into the tasting room, they were missing a couple of place settings, so we had to wait while more were prepared. The tasting itself was a very cool experience. We were guided through about 8 different oils and 4 balsamic. We talked about the production, processing, health benefits, and practical application of olive oil! The course instructor was nice, but some of the information she provided seemed suspect--perhaps more geared towards promoting THCOC oil than providing object facts (haha). The room was also freezing cold (a comment made by a few different parties). Ok I'm done complaining haha... the space itself is beautiful, and some of the oils we tasted were sublime. It really was amazing the difference in taste between different varieties and blends of olives. The infusions were very fun, business' story was fascinating. Beautiful, inspiring, and also tragic. Highly recommend visiting just to support the owner and his family. We will definitely buy their oil in the future!

Service - we have been here about 4-5 times, but service has never been too great or too friendly. The bar on the beer side is always pleasant but the tasting bar side always has a bit of a tiny rude vibe - and I don't mention it ever but I'm in the wine industry and we don't see this normally. Also tonight we were asked to move to a different table as they didn't prepare for a Harry Potter event ahead of time just as we settled in after a rough day (and our young pup finally chilled out). It felt we were being pushed out and the other table was by the window/door that was glass so I was cold. My senior mom was cold after we had found a great spot that was warm for her. Live music tonight was also quite off - I wouldn't suggest this place anymore. I'm not sure if in the last year it has gone down hill but it's no longer worth the drive for a mediocre experience. They gave many potential beautiful spaces but they don't utilize them, nor update them, so the vibe is just outdated. No music on the speakers can be heard when there isn't live music. So sorry to not write the best review here but it's honest.

The porter was good but a bit to heavy for a summer afternoon, so I got the Scotch Ale the first round and the IPA for the second round. The Scotch Ale at 8.0abv comes in a small 10oz pour and the IPA was a full 16oz. In the past the riesling has been my fave wine wise. Both were full flavored and refreshing to drink on the patio with my dog. The service here has always been so friendly. The wine tasting are guided by pros that are well educated about wine. The same for the brewery where they'll give you free tasting cups. The outside country location is so beautiful. Like being on a ranch. Picnic tables, lawn games, and often live music (or at least good music over the speakers). Btw, as a dj myself I wonder if they'd ever like some jazzy house grooves or something on the patio on the weekend? What would that involve to do periodically on an afternoon?

We just popped in for some tastings since we were staying next door at Lucky Arrow Retreat. Everyone was nice, but we wanted to move where we were doing our tastings because the staff had to keep going behind where we were standing and we had to keep moving out of their way... but we were asked to not move because other people might want that other spot. Kind of awkward because we were there first, but we are pretty easy going so we just brushed it off (even though there was literally no one else doing a tasting at that time). I hope that they don't get so busy that they lose the customer service that we loved the first time and had us wanting to come back again. They have beautiful outdoor spaces to hangout and relax with some beer or wine.

Fear not, the factory (distillery) in Buda isn't going anywhere. The folks here told me the property and buildings are being taken over and another business will be coming in. It just makes me sad because we love it here. We love everything about it and took for granted that it will always be here. The tasting room and distillery are huge and so tastefully put together. See what I did there? Lol. The grounds are the epitome of Hill Country. Amazing views of wildflowers, brush, and sky all about. Lots and lots of outdoor patio seating, food truck area, large indoor seating, tasting bar, large ordering bars, gift shop, games, and lots more. I'm reviewing as they're leaving because this is another one of those draft reviews that I've been waiting to be finished for a long time. I gotta get better at that lol. Anyway, that matters not because this place still deserves an incredible review. Absolutely amazing drinks and people. It (was) a great way to wind down after a day of outdoor activity in Hill Country. A+++++
