This is a cute little place. I tried the warm french onion dip and chips. Dip was interesting but different chips would be better because these were thin and broke easily. Kettle chips would be ideal. Friendly staff, nice environment. I would try some other things here.

Kristen is amazing!!!! knew everything I wanted to drink with simple inputs. Dylan also helped. Amanda loved the kids menu. it had everything her and her child would want. I come back every time I'm near.

Great little place across from the ever popular Greenbush - but they let your pups come to hang out. Great beer and cocktail list, a little food trailer if you're hungry. I can't speak to food or cocktails but their beer and seltzer were delish & cold, service was great & they had an amazing patio which included some outdoor games. Recommend!

Everything is delicious. Very kind staff, fun environment, awesome yard games, absolutely delicious cocktails and great beer selection. The owners are very personable and have smiles on their face! I'll be sure to support this business every time I'm in town

This Garden Veggie Chickpea Salad was so good, the lemon dill oil they drizzled on the bagel was amazing.

We have had a family house down the road for 90+ years and decided to give Wolverine Gardens a try…read more The hospitality and service were absolutely unmatched. We were greeted by the bartender and a few locals who were as friendly as can be. My bottle was never close to empty before I was asked for another. The best part, they sell T-shirts as a memory for one of the greatest bar experiences of all time. They have a great back room for any sized event, plus a stage for a live band. I wish we had been there for one of those situations as the grand room seemed to be full of good times. Would recommend booking in advance for private parties. Bathroom was tucked away, but had running water! 11/10 recommend, please pay respect to the generations who have passed through this Michigan delicacy

We were seeking more adventure so loaded up the van with Grampy and the kids to go visit the Wolverin Gardens. You never know how it's going to be with the locals but they were warm and welcoming. We were greeted by the Owner Bobby who was quick with his service and beyond friendly. After a few cold beers it was time to use the facilities which were located beyond the grand ballroom. We were advised to please excuse the mess as it was still partially strewn with holiday decorations and the bands equipment from recent festivities. Well worth the trip as the restrooms were vintage and well used. We had discussions and considered the ballroom for my daughter's wedding reception someday, but to my disappointment the WG does not serve food (perhaps we can cater in??) Long and short of it is a little piece of history with friendly service and clientele- a place I will be telling my friends to visit if they ever travel that way. I loved it and I'm sure I will visit again one day.

Sometimes you know you're in the right place before you even sit down…read more The smell that hit us when we walked into Lake Street Eats immediately made us look at each other and say, "Yep... we're eating here." It was our first visit, and the bartender quickly welcomed us, asked how we were enjoying the Bridgman area, and made us feel right at home. You could tell he genuinely enjoyed being there, joking with what seemed like several regulars seated around the bar. That kind of atmosphere is hard to fake. We started with the cheese curds, and I have one request for the owners: please bottle whatever dipping sauce comes with them. The portion was generous, and I'd give the cheese curds a solid 9/10 on the stretch meter, which I consider an important scientific measurement. We paired them with a local IPA and a Modelo while taking in the relaxed neighborhood vibe. Between the friendly staff, local décor, full bar, and laid-back atmosphere, it felt like one of those places where locals become regulars. The only minor downside was that it was pretty warm inside during our visit, but it was also a warm day outside, so it didn't take away from the experience. Next time we're in Bridgman, we'll be aiming for one of the outdoor tables. We'll definitely be back--and probably ordering those cheese curds again.

This place gives an option for everyone, and yet everyone at the table will want a bite. Great job LSE. Please teach your servers the difference between giardiniera and au jus though. Dude seemed confused, or trying to play me. Had I been charged for it, I may have complained, but my Italian beef sandwich was delicious nonetheless!
