Setting up the appointment was easy and received plenty of reminders leading up to it. Checking in was easy as well, bit of paperwork, but that's normal. The waiting lobby itself is nice, with a few toys and books for the kids and a movie set up as well. Love the theme here - definitely giving nature and PNW vibes! The assistant that helped with my son's teeth cleaning was great with him and really nice. The dentist himself was a little more reserved but still provided good care and advice. Of course my son loved the final touch of being able to pick out a toy at the end for doing a good job. I'm coming back in a couple of weeks with my older kids for their first appointments here and I'm sure it'll go just as well!

The woman has the personality of a potato. It is exhausting to deal with at every check out. My son had a small dental procedure. After they took him back I looked for the receptionist (who is wonderful) to let her know I was going to the car to leave my stuff. She unfortunately wasn't there and the lady at checkout happened to see me and aggressively tell me "you have to stay here".. my son is in the back why would I leave the premises? I still walked out and took my stuff to the car, came back and sat in the chair outside the office (the waiting room is small). This lady and her attitude came out of the office and went down the stairs to, I assume, search the parking lot for me. Just a really weird and unprofessional situation. The receptionist, dental assistants and dentists are great. The negative interaction at every visit just isn't worth it to keep coming here.

I've been in and out all my life but American dentists practice a little different from the ones overseas. Dr. Norooz was so refreshing and comforting. He also has a sense of humor that really helped ease things for me. I live in Olympia and although I'm never excited about having to drive an hour to get his office, let me tell you, it is very worth it! Everyone is his office is knowledgeable and friendly. I never feel embarrassed and everyone there is so professional. They also offer sedation, which I need to calm down and not feel the pain. The shots just don't work for me. Anytime I've had a problem, I've been able to come straight in or I had access to the doctor. If I tell him something hurts, he ensures me that he will be as gentle as possible. This is a great place to visit if you're scared of the dentist, like me!

Jeni has been my go to for the last few years when I stumbled in here after another dentist couldn't adjust my bite after they seated a crown. Dr. Stevens is far from a "quack" as someone has accused. He has seen a few things that could become and issue later but there is never any pressure to fix it NOW. it's something he notes to monitor. He's friendly, personable, seemingly loves his job, and brings light into a room. I HATE the dentist but this is the first place I have come where my heart rate isn't super high the whole time. They make you feel welcome and they ask questions about you and your life, make conversation and laugh. I hate getting my teeth cleaned. Honestly it makes me skin crawl but Linda somehow made me so comfortable that I didn't want to jump up and run. She was kind, funny and used the water pick thingy. Not sure what it called hahaha I had a few things come up (crown that came off and a front tooth that chipped after 30 years) and they got me in quick. Some dentists could have found something wrong w the crown that was seated wrong and lie and say it needs to be redone but he didn't, I mean this crown was just made a few weeks earlier by a dental office that was closed shortly after. Maybe that's why I was an exception because most dentists won't touch someone else's work. He was able to take care of it w out gouging me pocket. When he fixed my front tooth he jokingly bragged about being the best chip fixer. I ended up ripping tape w my teeth(oops) and I broke it off so when I came back it was funny to poke the joke. He was a good sport and we all laughed about it. I haven't had an issue since it was refilled and adjusted redone free of charge. I won't go to another dentist unless I leave this state. Nearly a 5 star rating, you can't make everyone happy so that rating with all the accusations says a lot about that patient but not everyone as a whole. Make an appointment you won't be disappointed from beginning to end.

I believed he was simply redoing some old fillings. * During the first appointment, my frenulum and facial tissue were injected multiple times with anesthetic after I was told to keep asking for more if it "wasn't working." It wasn't working, and the injections continued. * During a later visit, I received what appeared to be a very large injection of lidocaine inside the back of my mouth before being sent to his brother's office for a procedure I later questioned. * A later dentist told me some of my teeth appeared to have been partially extracted. I also later realized he had been using an in-office crown machine after hearing him talk about it, something I did not understand at the time. * After these visits I developed neurological symptoms, arrhythmia, and paralysis affecting my upper right lip and mouth movement near the injection site. Years later the arrhythmia continues and I am still working to recover neurologically. * When I tried to obtain my X-rays, I was first told they could be purged due to record-retention laws. After I cited the law, I was told they would provide them, but later I was told their server went down and the X-rays were lost. * I later discovered consent form issues and had difficulty obtaining complete records. * Because I did not initially understand the cause of my symptoms, I moved several times and eventually out of state believing the problem might be environmental. The matter is now active in appellate court. Patients should always request copies of their records and imaging and consider a second opinion before major dental work.

The receptionist saying that I had to be there in time while I would call ahead of time to let them know that traffic was terrible and was running a few minutes late but I was on my way just horrible find a different dentist that has a better understanding of women who want to be mothers at any age they choose and also other staff that has an understanding that traffic happens and you calling 20 minutes ahead of your schedule to let know your running late is something they can understand.

It just wasn't the same. So, insurance or not, I decided to go back to Dr Rich and Dr Fields. Both dentists are thorough and personable. There are lots of extras at this dental office. You can get a paraffin wax treatment on your hands while you're getting your dental work done. They also have warm blankets and memory foam padding in the chairs. They make you as comfy as possible during your dental treatment. I recommend them to everyone I know. My neighbors and family go here, too!

The front desk is friendly & efficient. The dental assistants have all been amazing and caring, and we have now seen 3 dentists here who all have been wonderful with both of our kids. I've glad we found this office, our kids now also say they love going to the dentist.

I must say that it warmed my heart with the staff at Fircrest Children's dentistry to see my daughter gain confidence and trust with them allowing them to do the normal procedure for a checkup and cleaning. Some of the assistants I haven't met but I know Dr Susanto's care for her patients and I know she will always have assistants who will handle your child with such care and consideration. They pay attention to details and explain things along the way with patience and kindness. My little guy is on the spectrum and will need to have GA for his dental work and I honestly don't know if I'd let any other Dr see him.
