I am so glad Yelp led me to Dr. Sieber! I've been a patient of his for almost two years, so this review is long overdue! I cannot say enough great things about him. I chose Dr. Sieber because of his reviews, before and after photos, and mostly how great he was during the consultation process. He met with me personally for a full hour, answering all of my questions, and using 3D imaging to see what results were possible. Then, he met with me again for another hour later that week. He was very kind, professional, and thorough in all of his answers. In talking with him, you can clearly tell he just wants his patients to be happy with their results and has no hidden agenda. Synopsis: can't emphasize enough how amazing Dr. Sieber and his team are. Now for the detail: trust me, worth the read! I found Dr. Sieber after doing extensive research on plastic surgeons in the Bay Area. I saw all amazing reviews and was very impressed by his work, looking at the patients before and after pictures (not to mention his board certifications and experience in the plastic surgery field). I was interested in getting a breast reduction, not because of back issues or medical issues, but for aesthetics and to feel more proportional with my body. A few things were important to me in doing my "image research" on different plastic surgeon's work. I have a few friends who got breast reductions, and the main commonalities were disappointed with their results, sutures weren't clean looking, breasts weren't symmetrical, they didn't go small enough, and the recovery process was long and invasive to normal routine. In looking at Dr. Sieber's Instagram, it was extremely obvious that he pays extreme attention to detail and looking at previous breast reduction cases, the breasts were as symmetrical as they could get, and the incisions were clean. When I looked at other plastic surgeons work in the Bay Area, this was not the case. I also found it very insightful watching Dr. Sieber's Instagram stories, where he would explain his surgical process and break down the work he would do on a case-by-case basis.  I began the consultation process, and out of the three doctors I saw, Dr. Sieber was ahead by a landslide. Extremely professional, clean, modern and well-kept office, friendly office staff, nurses & PA and the visits were informative, short and to the point. It was also really cool to see the before and potential after pictures using Dr. Sieber's special technology. On the spot I knew I was moving forward with Dr. Sieber and the patient coordinator was attentive and set up all my appointments needed, surgery date and clearly laid out billing and breakdown of costs.  I had emphasized to Dr. Sieber that I wanted to be as small as possible, but I trusted his judgement in how to size my breasts for my body. Fast forward to the day of surgery, where Dr. Sieber came in to do the markup on my breasts -- all was good and he made sure that we both were on the same page in terms of what I wanted, so there would be no surprises waking up after surgery. The other thing was anesthesia makes me nauseous, and Dr. Sieber prescribed a patch that completely eliminated any post-anesthesia nausea or discomfort. That was huge for me. The surgery went really well, and I was in absolutely no pain, just slightly stiff. Didn't need to take any pain medications and was up and walking around later that evening and even went to over to a friends for a bit. No one could believe that I had just had surgery and again I felt completely fine. Something that really helped with the recovery was that Dr. Sieber had me in a Calvin bra, which required me to lift up my arms and take it off. Having that range of motion, I believe helped speed up the recovery process. Two days later I was going on long walks and again still no pain. Honestly, the most painful part of the whole thing was taking off the bandages because I have ZERO pain tolerance towards Band-Aids, but even showering for the first time was easy and painless. Dr. Sieber assured me that my sutures were deep and that I wouldn't tear anything, and I truly trusted that and can attest that they were deep, and I did not tear any of them!  Two weeks later I was back to my workouts and about a week after that I was running. The whole recovery process was incredibly fast, no infections or any complications and I was comfortable and able to go about my normal routine a little over 2 weeks post-op which was incredible. I also got my nipple sensitivity back within the first two weeks, which was really important considering I'm 23 years old and wanted to make sure all was intact! I'm almost at 3 months post-op and every day I'm happier with the results and just so happy with my size and the way all my clothes fit me. My breasts are extremely symmetrical, the size is perfect, the incisions are clean and fading more and more every day. Even now, Dr. Sieber's office has been great and super helpful with any questions or needs I have. Dr. Sieber made sure to text me daily after my surgery and check in with how I was doing, welcoming pictures or any concerns which was super helpful (especially if you're like me who gets worried about everything). I cannot emphasize enough how impressed I am with my results and how happy I am with Dr. Sieber from start to now. My friends who have gotten reductions are now calling their doctors to do theirs again after seeing mine, and my other friends can't believe how fast my recovery was. This is a review that I've been dreading writing. However, like many people, reading about other's experiences played a large part in deciding to book the surgery. I promised myself that good or bad I wanted to make sure that I also put my experience out there for others who were nervous about taking the next step. I wanted to give a very honest review of journey start to finish. Icame to Dr. Sieber for a revision surgery. (I had lipo on my flanks almost 20 years ago. The doctor had me in an undergarment post op that made an indentation on my abdomen. I am 40 years old and I also have had kids since then. That said, my skin was still smooth and I didn't have a lot of fat that I was trying to get rid of. Even at the time of surgery my weight was 100 pounds. I just wanted to smooth things out so that the line was not there. I was uncomfortable with it for so long and felt that now was a good time. As per Dr. Sieber's advice, I decided to do Lipo of the abdomen and Reunion. I was really nervous about undergoing surgery but felt confident after meeting with him and reading previous reviews that I was making a good decision. Pre-op Dr. Siber was fantastic. At my appointment I relayed that I was extremely nervous about anesthesia given my history with delivering my babies. He was super supportive and went over things he could do on his side (medications, etc.)to help. He even brought in an anesthesiologist to go over some details. I left feeling very supported. It took a huge weight off of the fears I had. Day of surgery everyone was really supportive, too. The surgery center nurses were so kind and everyone was on time. Post op, the nurses were great and so was Dr. Sieber. He followed up daily with phone calls and texts checking in. Even the anesthesiologist checked in post op. I was impressed. As per the instruction of Dr. Sieber, I began post op lymphatic drainage massages on day 2. Three days post op, I developed something that looked like a rash on two parts of my abdomen. I assumed it was from oil and would go away. He was unsure what the staining/rash was from. The "rash" did go away but I was left with brown staining. Again, I was hoping time would help and it would go away. However, it did not. I still have brown spots. At my one week post op appt in his office, I was worried about the staining, the lumpiness and the over-all way things looked. He advised that it would all smooth out in time. And, honestly, at 1 week out I believed that. The problem was it did not. I continued eating very healthy, exercising, getting the massages an extra month and going about life wearing the foam/undergarment. I'm now post op a little more than 3 months and I'm still lumpy. I still have the brown staining. And, on top of the lumpiness and staining my skin is loose and crepey (it was not before.) If I didn't know better I would think that I didn't get Renuvion on the table at all. (I know I did because I saw it on his Instagram story.) This all goes beyond the brown stains, the lumps, the loose skin. My body looks deformed in a way that it never looked before. If I could go back in time and take my pre op body that was smooth (with one line across) than I would in a heartbeat. Dr. Sieber has been very clear that it can take up to a year to look how it's meant to. And, I hope that I can come back and write an updated review. I really, really hope! But, for now (at a little over 3 months) I'm really disappointed with how it all turned out thus far. I'm really uncomfortable with how my whole abdomen looks where before I was concerned with one line across . I don't want anyone to have to experience what I've gone through. When I saw Dr. Sieber at my 3 month post op appt he was hopeful that things would still change. He again mentioned that time was my friend. And, again, I hope he's right. He also didn't have any additional information. He said a lot of what I was seeing was simply how my body was (pre surgery/having kids/body not being symmetrical/etc.) Which I would be okay with if my body looked differently than it did before or if it was one thing that was off. I can appreciate that every body is different and nothing is exactly symmetrical. But, there was just so much more. At the time he wasn't able to pinpoint anything else that happened to make everything so wonky. Bumps, Lumps, uneven definition (some parts have no definition) etc. At this point in my journey, I would strongly suggest that patients weigh the post op "could happens" to them. I wish I had known that all of this could have gone this wrong. I really, really thought I was in the best hands and would be so happy to have gone down this path. I had my first breast augmentation 4 years ago in South Korea. I got the textured implants because I was told that they decreased the chances of developing Capsular Contracture which is the reason why textured implants are encouraged in South Korea. I started having pain on my right breast towards the end of October of 2018. I met with Dr. Sieber for my first consultation regarding the pain I was having. Not only did I experience sharp pain all around the breast but one day I woke up with very swollen and hardened breast on my right side. In addition to that, I happened to read an article about current issues of textured implants which seems to cause a rare form of Lymphoma cancer. I was very concerned after reading the article but Dr. Sieber patiently took his time to examine and answered all my questions. Long story short, eventually I began having pain and swelling on both sides of my breasts. I was going to fly to Korea to get it fixed since it's a lot cheaper, but my symptoms were getting worse and I wasn't able to wait another half a year. Earlier today, I got the breast reconstruction operation from Dr. Sieber. And let me tell you. He is not cheap but he is worth every penny. Not only is Dr. Sieber knowledgeable and attentive, but so was his staff. They made me feel sooo welcomed, comfortable, and safe. Dr. sieber is always willing to answer all my questions. First & foremost I want to say Dr. Sieber is Awesome! He is a young, fresh & friendly Surgeon with a great bedside manner & a great team behind him. This review is long overdue but I wanted to make sure I was far enough along in my recovery to give an honest review. So this is how my journey begins... 11 months ago I started searching for surgeons in the Bay Area that specialize in Vaser Lipo. A friend of mine who works in the medical field suggested I look into Dr. Sieber. I set a virtual meeting with Dr. Sieber and felt really at ease after speaking with him & his patient coordinator Amy. What I appreciated the most is that I didn't feel pressured to do anything I didn't want to do. I am a 38 yr old mother of two, both delivered via cesarean section who had been trying to lose the baby belly for 9 years! I am very active & had tried just about everything. Based on his observation, a mini tuck would give me optimal results but for me that just wasn't an option (hence two cesarean scars) I did not want a larger one. After expressing this we decided on Vaser lipo of the abdomen & flanks followed by Renuvion (skin tightening). The procedure itself took about 3 hrs & I was on my way home. Dr. Sieber checked on me EVERYDAY until my first post op appt. & checked on me for another week after that to make sure I had no complications. This review is long overdue! My social life has changed drastically since my surgery in October -- I've been having so much fun I haven't had a chance to sit down and write this review! I found Dr. Sieber initially through RealSelf.com and after looking through his Instagram and website, I had to book a consult. Dr. Sieber wasn't the only surgeon I consulted with for a breast augmentation, and after meeting with him and his patient coordinator, it was not a hard decision to make. I knew I was in great care. Dr. Sieber is extremely knowledgeable and up to date with the latest technologies and studies/research. During my consult we took photos and I got to see a digital rendering and tried different sizes, and could even see what it would look like with a bikini! The result is just as I expected, if not better! I was adamant about going with a size that kept as natural a shape as possible. It truly feels like an enhancement, I often forget that I had them done! I feel so much more comfortable wearing tops that I never could before, and I have a new sense of confidence -- finding myself doing some of the most simple (but out of my comfort zone) things that I wouldn't do before. I am incredibly happy with the entire experience and process. Even down to the post-surgery care package and instructions. The nurses in the operating room were also wonderful, and Dr. Sieber checked in via text post-surgery. I felt very well taken care of and am so happy with everything. This is an update to a review I posted on January 5, 2021. Shortly after posting the review on Yelp about our bad experience, Dr. Sieber called my partner to apologize for the way he was treated. Dr. Sieber took responsibility for the actions of his staff and said he wanted to make things right. He offered to see my partner the next morning and perform the Halo facial himself for $1,650, honoring the maximum price of the range of prices we were initially told the treatment could be. His staff quickly followed up with a text message to apologize again and to arrange payment. I paid the amount, and Dr. Sieber subsequently performed the treatment the next morning. This would have been better handled had Dr. Sieber offered to honor the low end of the price range quoted initially, but it is what it is. We appreciated him taking responsibility and offering a viable solution to try to make things better. Absent the events of the previous day, the experience my partner had with Dr. Sieber, if taken in isolation, would merit a review of five-stars; however, the one-star experience that happened the previous day still happened and isn't something that we can just forget about. Still, we ended up getting charged a fee to cancel an appointment we made for a Halo treatment we booked with a competitor after our initial experience with his office. So, while the gesture to quickly see my partner was appreciated, it wasn't without financial consequence. Given the corrective action taken, I am raising the star rating from this experience, which now covers a period of two days, from one star to three. We look forward to seeing Dr. Sieber again and to more five-star experiences that we now know he and his team can deliver. read more

My dating life has been insane. I was able to land a boyfriend in the NFL nine years younger than me. My new boyfriend loves my body. I started my dysport and filler journey with Sally Sherrard a few years ago and absolutely love her work. We did dysport in my forehead and crows feet. Hands down the best doctor I've been to. To start, his office front-woman is professional, warm, and polite. Dr Sieber himself also all of those things as well. After several consults and planning of my surgery, which he went over in detail before, I felt comfortable and excited about my procedure. Dr Sieber called my the night before to check in, which provided extra reassurance. The staff at the surgery center each met with me and went over his/her roll and again provided reassurance, as surgery can be quite overwhelming. When I was finished Dr Sieber again met with me before I headed home for recovery. After my procedure, while healing, De Sieber checked in with me every single day with chipper texts and phone calls. The results- perfect. I had follow up lymphatic massages with a referred massage professional, which definitely increased the speed of my recovery and reduced swelling and discomfort. My body looks exactly how I described I wanted. Dr Sieber used his skills to perfect the results I asked for. I have since had two follow up appointments, which is standard for post-op. I came to Dr. sieber precisely because of Yelp because of all the good reviews I read. He did my lateral chest (back fat) lipo four days ago and I am already recovering pretty well. He checks in with you after surgery to make sure everything is ok, which is such a good plus! I got cool sculpting eleven months ago and I was NOT happy with the results, it was money wasted. So I saved up and got lipo instead, and although I am nowhere near fully healed, I can already see a difference! It's definitely a pricy investment but you will thank yourself in the long run. I've been meaning to write this review since my first appointment with Dr. Sieber about a month ago. I have to say, he is by far the best I have seen for fillers in San Francisco. I have gone to four other places, and while a couple weren't bad, I never really felt 100% comfortable. I would sometimes feel rushed or the injector wouldn't really take the time to work with me on where I wanted the filler placed. This has ended up with results that I wasn't completely happy with. My experience with Dr. Sieber was awesome. He was friendly, professional, and super thorough! He actually drew lines and dots on my face prior to the procedure showing where he would inject which I really liked. I had a consultation with Dr. Sieber about 3 months ago to have a breast lifted, removal of my saline implants to silicone, to fix my breast's due to a botched job by another plastic surgeon, removal excess skin on my arms due to weight loss and some lipo suction on my bra roll. I have always hated my arms and I looked top heavy. My body did not look balanced. Dr. Sieber has an Incredible bedside manner. He is very kind, very skilled and experienced plastic surgeon. He truly listens to his patients and what they want. I never felt rushed or pressured. He made me comfortable and explained what needed to be done in detail. I had surgery on December 29th, 2017. Upon arrival to the surgery center, the staff was very kind and attentive. They made sure that I was comfortable. Dr. Sieber came in and took 30 minutes to mark me up. He is very precise and took his time. Surgery took about five hours and I have no complications with the surgery. Dr. Sieber is an AMAZING and exceptional plastic surgeon. His work exceeded my expectations and then some. He personally called me to check on me at home post surgery for the first 5 days. He me his cell phone number if I need to ask him any questions or concerns because of the holidays. I am thrilled with my results and so grateful to Dr. Sieber. I had upper and lower blepharoplasty. The transformation was incredible. I am very pleased with the results. I look younger and fresher and not tired and drained. Dr Sieber was very approachable and made me feel comfortable. He answered all my questions and even encouraged me to text/email him if I had others. When I did text or email him, he responded very quickly. Post surgery, he checked in on me regularly which really eased my anxiety. The recovery was a lot better than I originally anticipated. I had minimal bruising and little pain. Within a week, you could barely tell that I had any kind of surgery. I couldn't have been happier with Dr Sieber and his team. I highly recommend him.
