I had an extensive and fairly involved cosmetic surgery done with Dr.Dino in April of 2022. As a person who has a fair amount of experience with plastic surgery, I was impressed with his bedside manner, recommendations and follow up. I found him to be on the conservative side and interested in preserving my natural appearance. He did not recommended a bunch of things I didn't need, but he was open some of the additional things I was considering. My surgery was easy and relatively painless. I had minimal bruising and I have one tiny barely visible scar, which is next level. Within three weeks I was back at work. Dr Dino did not prepare me at all for the horrendous end state of my rhinoplasty and facial fat transfer. Hes butchered my nose. I now have an uneven, jagged upturned nose and the facial fat transfer has changed my whole look. I did not actually want fat transfer to my face. I did not even know this concept existed. He insisted it would be a nice touch. FYI butt fat is heavier than facial fat. It will weigh down your face and puff you out like a hominid. Do not let him convince you you need this. His after care support is not interested. I am devastated and face more costs and surgical unknowns and down time to try fix a face that makes me cry to look back at in the mirror. I had my primary rhinoplasty with Dr. E in December 2017. I did months of research on Yelp, Google Search, and RealSelf to find the right doctor. I checked all over CA and concluded Dr. E would be the best for what I want. The consultation and surgery location is in the same place in the heart of SF. The staff is super kind and professional. Dr. E is nice, listens well, and sets real expectations. The main reason I chose Dr. E is because of his S.M.A.R.T. rhinoplasty technique. There was not any chiseling or bone breaking, NO SCARS, and minimal short and long term damage. After surgery, I felt really awake and barely any pain. I took Tylenol once or twice. Instead of pain, it felt more like pressure on my nose. Most of the swelling was gone after 3 weeks! At 3 weeks, I had a clear idea of what my nose would look like. My nose looked a lot better after the surgery but still was not exactly how I wanted it to be. I needed more of an improvement. I expressed my concerns to Dr. E and he was caring and supporting. In a situation where you feel so worried, it helps so much to have someone who is there for you and puts extra effort to make sure you are at ease. Dr. E genuinely cared for how I felt and wanted to do whatever he could to make sure I was happy with my results. We kept in contact over the next year. I gave updates along with pictures. In December 2018, we met again in person to discuss options. In February 2018, I had my second rhinoplasty. I had emphasized all the changes I want with plenty of examples. Once again, the OR staff and surgery process was a breeze. Dr. E sent me a picture of my new nose the next day, and I absolutely loved it!! This time hurt more but now at 3-4 weeks, there is absolutely no pain, almost no swelling, and it looks amazing! I got the exact result I wanted. I couldn't be happier with my results. Had my consultation for breast augmentation with Dr. Dino. When you go through plastic surgery, it is recommended to visit three different doctors or go through three different consultations. Dr. Dino was definitely his way or the highway. So if you want to lay out your options, it's not a possibility here. I'm giving him 3 stars because I didn't have a doubt he would do a good job but He didn't make me feel comfortable at all during my consultation. He had awful bed side manners. When we spoke about sizes and what it would look like depending on what I was wearing, he said "when you wear a skimpy bikini ..." his choice of words were interesting. He doesn't give you a suggested size until your next appointment, which at that point you would have to put down a deposit. Overall, I didn't go with Dr. Dino because of my consultation experience compared to others. I suggest going to a doctor that makes you feel comfortable, safe, and one you can trust. Dr. Elyassnia has a great eye and sense of beauty. He is an excellent doctor, a kind person and has pulled together a great team of people who try to make you feel at home and safe. I loved the work he did on my face, everybody tells me that I look great but nobody knows I went through a face lift. I worried about the down time, but after two weeks I was working. I never felt pain or discomfort. Expect to be swollen, but everyday a little better. I took pictures of myself everyday and could see how I was getting better. He is not arrogant like some plastic surgeons in the city that are not available for new clients or give you an appointment two months latter. I had started to notice my double chin around my late 20s. My physique had always been on the slim/fit side but in my late college years I became skinny fat. I am 7 months post op. Wanted to wait a bit to give a review. Dr Dino and his staff were all amazing and so sweet! I have no problems with that. My recovery has been good for the most part, luckily no complications. As far as the results, I'm not completely in love. Yes my nose looks wayyyy better than before. But I'm just upset that there is still a bump and some unevenness in my nostrils. Will wait for the one year mark to see if this improves. He said he'd be able to do a small procedure to take down the bump but I'm scared to have to go through another period of swelling and healing. Just wish it was all good the first time around. I was very indecisive on writing this review since it's been 2 years now but, the more I look at my nose the more it bothers me. I paid so much and had to get two surgeries and still see a bump. The first checkup I had after surgery I came in we noticed the bump was still there and Dino said it would go away since it was just a few weeks and said it was probably still swollen. We decided to wait a year since Dino said it completely heals after a full year. A year passed and came in for a check up. He said we could do a another surgery with just anesthesia on the nose area to shave down the hump on my nose so I would be fully awake. I came in for the second surgery and he said he would only shave down one side. Not only do I still have a bump but I'm my nostrils are not even. He never posted after pictures when I came in for checkups because he probably didn't like the results of my nose. When I looked at my face at age 59 I decided I wanted improvements made but I was worried about looking overdone. A good friend of mine had engaged Dr. Elyassnia and his work improved her look very much and in a very natural way. Recovery from this type of surgery is not easy, but it was worth the time investment for me. To get the natural look, Dr. E uses several advanced techniques, including fat transfer. The fat transfer causes swelling and it takes time for the swelling to go down. I am so thankful for Dr. Dino's work. I was referred to him by a friend, and after seeing her beautiful rhinoplasty results and listening to how highly she spoke of her experience, I decided to see him for a consultation. I'd been considering getting my nose looked at for some time because I've been self conscious about it since I was in a bad car accident a few years ago, and I was very intrigued by his SMART rhinoplasty technique. During my consultation, Dr. Dino and his staff instantly made me feel safe and comfortable, and assured me that they could help me get what I wanted with a minimally invasive procedure - all the while never making me feel like this was something I needed to do. After deciding to follow through with the procedure, the months preceding my operation entailed a couple follow-up visits, all of which reassured my decision to go with Dino and his team, as they were consistently extremely kind and professional. My nurse and anesthesiologist (who were also amazing, btw) called me the day before my surgery and went over everything I needed to know going in, which made me feel extra comfortable walking into the operation. I should start with saying that Dr E. is a great listener, honest, modest, confident, and an amazing artist like "Michelangelo". I didn't want to lose any of my facial expressions or my smile. Also because of my delicate skin, I was afraid of scars after surgery. I wanted to keep the look of my natural face but get rid of sagginess and all deep wrinkles especially around my upper lip. His honesty about the procedure and the healing process made me feel very comfortable with what I was willing to do. He was very confident about what he was planning to do, and he gained all my trust. Amazingly every single one of the staff at the Marten clinic are super efficient, friendly and caring. After surgery I spent the night at their recovery area. The nurse sat next to me like an angel and took care of me the entire night. I felt so spoiled with the great care and attention I received pre and post surgery. I went to Dr. Elyassnia to help me with aging skin and baggy, droopy eyes. I was tired of looking tired. I met with 3 doctors and decided on him because he not only knows how to do the work but he has an artistic eye that makes a subtle but significant difference. I am 53 years old, a Mom of 3 boys, and I was nervous about getting any 'work' done on my face. However, I was beginning to resemble Queen Victoria's 'later years' and my chin is what brought me in. When I arrived at Dr. Elyassnia's office, I was greeted by a kind and friendly, professional staff. The offices are beautiful, marble, modern, and well appointed. My appointments have all been on time, which is so unusual for a doctor's office these days. After deciding on a full facelift, with some fat grafting, and laser resurfacing; I took good care of myself, and followed all of the pre-surgery instructions up until my surgery date. I was very nervous before my arrival. The anesthesiologist, Dr. King is excellent (truly amazing), and I was able to take something to calm my nerves. My surgery itself was a breeze, as I don't remember any of it. I woke up in the recovery over-night suite, with a wonderful, kind, caring, private nurse, in what resembles a mini Four Seasons Hotel Suite. The following morning, I returned home, and began recovering. I spent two weeks watching Netflix, and stayed home. Week three, I was able to move about, even went to the grocery store in dark glasses. I am now, 9 months post-recovery and I feel fantastic. My scars are nearly invisible, and I look 15-20 years younger. The subtle changes are not recognizable to anyone, but I look refreshed and am very happy with the results. After weeks of researching multiple doctors and having consultations, I just didn't feel comfortable with any of them. Dr E was recommended to me. After reading his reviews on multiple sites and looking at his work on the website, I decided to have a consult with him and I'm glad I did! Aside from having good bedside manners which is extremely important to me, I can tell he really wanted to ensure I would be happy and comfortable with my decision. The office itself is very inviting and his staff are welcoming. No one is pushy, and they don't continuously contact you to follow up on your decision or sell other services. They waited for me to call back, which I appreciated. I've encountered the patient coordinator, Tiffany on multiple occasions during my appointments and not only was she informative and professional, she is genuine and sweet, always making sure I was comfortable during my visits. I love my results! What was important to me was that it feels and looks natural, and Dr E succeeded on that! I've had many follow up appointments after surgery and that really shows a lot about this office. They really care for their patients throughout the entire process. Dr. Dino Elyassnia is a very talented, artistic, compassionate, no-ego plastic surgeon, who does amazing work!! Long story short, after meeting with Dr. Elyassnia (several times) and doing extensive due diligence, I scheduled a facelift, necklift, brow lift and fat injections with him. EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE!!! Dr. Elyassnia is a surgeon among the elite in the field of plastic surgery. After consulting with several surgeons for my Mother's procedure, we opted to proceed with Dr. Elyassnia based on his qualifications as a highly-skilled surgeon, honesty, and consideration. Dr. Elyassnia has an extremely strong medical background, and expresses a level of knowledge that allowed us to feel at-ease and bestow our trust in his abilities (a difficult standard to achieve, as we are a family deeply rooted in the medical field). Dr. Elyassnia's demeanor and bedside manner is very kind and patient; he genuinely cares about his patients and you can sense it, specifically, in regards to their health and delivering what is discussed pre-op. He clearly expresses what is feasible and to be anticipated in the results. Most importantly, the surgery results surpassed all expectations! The surgery was performed with beautiful symmetry, a very thin and hidden scar, and she experienced a speedy recovery. My Mom loves her new figure and wishes she did it 20 years ago. As a bonus, their facility and staff are equally wonderful. The reception is warm and pleasant. Our post-op nurse was very qualified and loving (seriously, she was amazing!). The facility itself is equipped with top of the line equipment and care options (e.g. a private in house care unit with a personal nurse). Wow, where do I even begin! From the first time I even called Dr. Elyassnia's office up until now, I have had nothing but the best experience with their office. After researching many plastic surgeons, I went in for a consultation with Dr. Elyassnia to discuss a procedure I had been considering for years. I was nervous and anxious, this was the first time I felt ready to proceed with having surgery and had never met with a doctor before. Our meeting was far beyond an A+ in my eyes. Not only is he a great listener and is far from judgmental, he also was very confident and knowledgeable, and explained every angle of the procedure I was to expect, from pre-surgery to post, years in the future, any risks, EVERYTHING. I had concerns of risks involved with surgery, and he went into much detail regarding complications and all risks that I was going to face (which thankfully I never encountered). Our initial consultation lasted two hours and he left no question unanswered. His staff was also very warm and helpful (especially Brittni!) and I felt great leaving the office. I quickly scheduled a second consultation to proceed. I ended up having surgery about 2 months after my first meeting with Dr. Elyassnia, and that experience was also far beyond stellar! I have had surgery twice before in city hospitals and know how that works....you arrive starving, sit around with an IV for hours, and finally get wheeled off to surgery. At the Marten Clinic of Plastic Surgery it's all about YOU! Never have I experienced such "customer service" (if you can call it that when talking about surgery?). I arrived at their facility at 11AM, and was IV'ed and ready on the operating table by 12:30! Before I knew it I was out cold, and woke up in the recovery room with my partner, ready to go home. Since my procedure, I have seen Dr. Elyassnia once for a follow-up appointment, and have another appointment coming up in the next few weeks. I look forward to seeing the doctor! He is warm, caring, and genuinely excited about how you feel and your questions/concerns. I have to say, I've already recommended Dr. Elyassnia to friends interested in plastic surgery, and will continue to do so in the future. I have had Liposuction on my legs and Facial Fat Grafting done 5 months ago with Dr. Elyassnia. I can not be any happier with the result. I have been looking for a plastic surgeon for lipo for almost two years and I have had quite a few consults with several surgeons in San Francisco. During the consult he mentioned how I can benefit from fat grafting. I am 40 years old and I have started seeing some aging in my face, which I have been trying to manage with injecting fillers. He spent a very long time on the consult appointment and made sure that it is all clear for me. The team were extremely supportive and thorough and they walked me through every single step. Britni, Kelly, Helen and Dr. Wong, the anesthesiologist have been very helpful. The procedure went very smoothly. The recovery was very easy. I just took one pain-killer. The post-op appointments were great and I LOVE my new face and body. I am very glad that I did the fat grafting, which was not my main concern initially. Now I look 10-15 years younger and happier without any trace of any procedures. It looks VERY natural and it was all pain-free. I get so many complements that makes me feel like changing my career to modeling.;) I don't have to be worried about looking tired or the recovery time from fillers. I am a 46 year old man who eats well, exercises daily, dresses decent and enjoys moving with the city. All that being said, there was one area that would not cooperate, my neck area from side to side & from chin to my lower neck. It was always difficult to see any positive advances made in other areas when my neck was the first thing I would notice. After checking with a few other surgeons, I googled top-rated SF cosmetic surgeons & found Dr. Elyassnia. The best google search I've ever done! I'm a very anxious person but from the minute I walked through their door and was greeted by Kelly, I was at ease. The staff was brillant and the office was professional & stylish with zero attitude. Meeting Dr. Elyassnia was the next step and the experience only got better. Before even shaking hands he already seemed hard at work studying my features. After chatting a bit about why I was there, his suggestions were more natural and less invasive than expected. His goal was to make me look fresh and healthy without making me look like someone other than me. My experience both pre & post-op was excellent. From walking into the surgery facility to checking out of recovery, the surgical staff did everything to keep me comfortable and at ease. By the way, one of the coolest looking facilities in town. As far as the surgery goes, instructions were always clear before and after. I can honestly say the most difficult part of my recovery was 3 to 4 days of inconvenience in my mobility and not being able to sleep with my pillow. THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!! I wanted to write a review for Dr. Dino since there are not many reviews for male liposuctions. I am in my late thirties and my problem area were my flanks and abdomen. I researched and interviewed several doctors, Dr. Dino made me feel at ease and was honest about the procedure and results (many were promising a Daniel Craig body in a short period of time). His staff is amazing, when you go to his clinic, they get to know you and like him, make it an easy and smooth process. I had my surgery in late August and I was lucky to say that even though I had a slim body type and not a great deal to be removed, I saw the changes immediately. Now months later, I am seeing even more results and I am extremely happy... he sculpted my body and it looks completely natural. He checked in with me several times after the procedure... the first few days, it was a bit painful (you need your core to get up!), but it went away fairly fast... only took 2 pain killers. My experience with Dr. Elyassnia and the staff was wonderful. I know that might be a strange way to describe a surgical experience but it was, From the 1st consult to the 4 month follow up. He is not only a very skilled surgeon but also an artist. He is also very kind and understanding. I had a breast reduction and tummy tuck. I am thrilled with the outcome. My breasts look perky and natural .My tummy is flat with a beautiful curvy waist. When I run into people I have not seen for a while they think I lost 20 lbs. Little do they know it was just getting rid of all the loose skin and reducing my breasts from a triple D to a C. I highly recommend Dr. Elyassnia.
