A vey good place to have a casual night. We had wing and nachos. Thai nachos so yummy beer is good we had it was fresh. Very large servings was not warned about that good food very large servings. Ambience reminds you it takes you back to older Wisconsin a little dark, but thankfully they provide table lighting. I know too many people that work here. That's a good thing I think. read more

The food was delicious. We went for the Friday Fish Fry. Lots of locals, which is a good sign, and most people also ordered the fish fry. The baked fish was not as good as the fried. Ambiance was loud and busy. Long wait, but plenty of space to wait on porch. Server was a little curt but likely because of the busyness. We will certainly go again, but maybe lunch next time to avoid the Friday night rush. read more

We also had the sauce on the side, and the fries were phenomenal (I hate fries usually). The sauce is very good!! Don't pass on that component. I also had a Hofbrau to go along with my sando!! You can't go wrong with German beer. The place is historical-ish and I would've bet the farm it had spooks. The server used to live there (upstairs) and gave us a few ghost stories. My spidey sense did not lie about those Caspers!! In end, don't be scared of the ghost and stop in for some good food/friendly service. We will definitely be back to try other items. read more

I met a good friend at Siebert's for a few barley-pops and lunch. The service was excellent and patient with us as we drank and caught up on our lives before we ordered. Stopped by last night w/ my wife and MIL, and boy are we glad we did! Perched up at the bar with some big TVs showing the Badger game where Bucky took back the axe from the Goohers. Friendly bartenders were happy to walk us through the tap/bottle options. The three of us each started with a crock of deliciously cheesy French onion soup. Omg, incredible! For dinner we got a couple Reuben sandwiches and a patty melt. We understand why the Reuben has the amazing reputation it does. Massive sandwich piled high with corned beef, tangy & melty Swiss, and plenty of sauerkraut provided the perfect acidic compliment to the savory meat and cheese. Stopped here for lunch on our way home from Wilmot snow tubing and the food was delicious! Some of the best cheese curds we've ever had!! Also ordered the delicious monkey fries, and all of the sauces were made in house and so tasty. I split the boneless wings and the pub quesadilla with someone in my party and they were served hot and tasted delicious. The kids in our party had the Mac n cheese and corn dogs and loved them as well. They ever got root beer in bottles that they thought was pretty cool! So many reviews from Chicagoans stopping by on their way back from Lake Geneva. That's a shame as people ought to know what this is place is really like when it's not serving the Friday Fish Fry. The taps are bad, rarely changed, except for the two popular ones. Some of the beers don't taste the way they should it's so bad - flat and skunked. The food is very expensive as this place caters to tourists only. The owner is a well-known bigot and they cater to some of the worst people in this area. The locals are well taken-care of, though, but you better be the "right" kind of person or believe me you'll be chased out. Places like Siebert's are why "Wisconsin nice" is a selective phrase. Hope Lake Geneva was nice, though, but stop somewhere else on your way back. read more

This was our second time at Sieberts. The food is excellent. Wednesday is Walleye day, and everyone was very happy with the meal. Service was wonderful. We were lucky to have Tia as our waitstaff again. She is so positive, and she made our dining experience so enjoyable. It is worth the trip for a very enjoyable dining experience. We have been back to Seiberts a few times since i wrote my first review in 2021. They have since added an all-you-can-eat halibut to their fish fry options, it was excellent, and the service again was outstanding. We were lucky enough to again have Tia as our server, she is terrific. She starts by calling us "kids" which made us smile, since we are seniors. it was pretty busy, but Tia was hustling and attentive. The one thing i have learned about this place, don't bother to ask to meet the owner, I have done that at least 3 times, she is always "too busy". I was going tyo just compliment her on her well-run establishment and tell her Tia is special, but she couldn't make time for that. Other than that, place is highly recommended. My husband and I tried this for lunch after a friend recommended it. I loved it here. The food was good, we shared the Ruben rolls and I got a steak sandwich. I also had 2 martinis which were very good. I can see how this place gets packed for dinner or on weekends. It's a little drive for us but we will definitely be coming back. Hands down the BEST meal I've ever had in Wisconsin. Sieberts Pub has many many good reviews because they simply get the details right. From the delicious meal to the scented Bath and Works soap in the bathroom (I'm a soap snob), everything seems to be thought out. Boyfriend and I visited on a Friday so he had the Fish Fry and I found a delicious chicken spinach wrap (veggie wraps in Wisconsin? Not super common). The fish was delicious and not too greasy or salty. My wrap came with poppyseed dressing and mouthwatering house made chips! The portions were so huge I had enough for a second meal the next day!! Service was exceptional and representative of Wisconsin hospitality! The servers were friendly and checked in on us often. They were training a gentleman and he did fantastic. We were greeted and seated right away. Plenty of free parking and the check was so reasonable I had to do a double take! Thank you for a fabulous experience! Lake perch was absolutely fresh and delicious, six fillets of fish. With fries and cole slaw, this was a feast, couldn't finish it all. Everything was hot and fresh. Went here because another place was closed but what a find! Excellent service from a waitress who clearly cared about the place! She made some great recommendations.
