We had the Fuzzy Skul, But I can't see any of these not being yummy.

I've been to this establishment for years and now is the time for a review. Thirsty Horse was always accommodating, for any bike related activities, that our riding club has thrown in the past. From allowing us to have a band, to food and drink specials, they have always been a good partner for poker runs and the activities associated. With that said, I also go here for a some food and drinks. Bartenders are quick on their feet and the food is decent bar fair. This weekend, we also tried this new Numskul booze that is put out by the Rumchata people. When I tasted it, it reminded me of former vacations in Mexico and Florida, wrapped up in a glass. Go there and try a cocktail with it! Keep up the good work and we'll be riding down again soon.

Great home town bar and restaurant, walleye and blue hill to die for! Games outside. Games inside. Good people. Thanks Jillian! Big group with lots of requests, thanks for accommodating. Fun place! Good bloody Mary's! Spotted cow on tap, pool, different slot machines. You won't be disappointed unless you're super weird, then oh well.

Amazingly crispy bacon that was on my burger!!!!

We love this place!!!! Great neighborhood hidden gem. Service is fantastic....bartenders and servers are always extremely polite and gracious. Food has always been fantastic. We have even brought our kids there during the day and they loved it! Family friendly environment...probably wouldn't take them at night since it is a "bar" though....but I still don't see it being that bad.

Great fish fry!

Fish fry was really good lots of choices! We had the blue gill and wallaye. Burgers are nice too. The prime rib sandwich steals the show!

They should invest in some more comfortable chairs. We would stay longer and spend more. If the chair didnt kill my butt and back!

I had a basic burger and chips. Not bad but it was really loud in the building. Not for talking in the evening.

The Yelp reviews were mostly five stars, and it was touted to be a locals' favorite, so we decided to give it a try. We both chose the patty melt with a cup of vegetable soup. The soup sounded like an excellent choice on this cold cloudy day. The food, the service and the ambience were all wonderful. We finished off the meal sharing a slice of hot peach pie with vanilla bean ice cream. It was all fantastic.

Consistently busy over the years and for good reason. I've been here a few times and I've never been disappointed with the service or the food. It's a dark, cozy little restaurant bar but with so much character and history. Service is friendly and efficient. I love that the food I've ordered here has always exceeded my expectations with the seasonings and quality of ingredients used. Reasonably priced too! If you don't have a reservation, you may end up waiting for a table in the back area at a high top but it's a great opportunity to enjoy one of their great drinks in the meantime!

To make matters worse, we had not eaten anything substantial all day and had actually looked this restaurant up weeks before our trip while researching places to eat the infamous Wisconsin fish fry, so we were really looking forward to the experience. The experience started off poorly when our party was essentially scolded by the hostess for sitting at a table that apparently needed to be cleaned for the wait list. To make matters worse, the busser laughed and joked that we were "in trouble," to which I could only respond, "Sounds like it." Not exactly the welcoming atmosphere you'd hope for as a first time visitor. The fish fry was decent our tab came out to $150 for 5 people, but the service was absolutely subpar and our tip reflected that. We also had to send back two drink glasses because they were dirty one still had lipstick on it, and another had food stuck to the inside of the glass. Overall, this was a very disappointing dining experience. Between the unprofessional treatment, lackluster service, and cleanliness issues, I would not recommend stopping here. There are plenty of other restaurants worth trying instead.
