Paddy Coughlins was a recommended restaurant when visiting someone at Fort Atkinson hospital. My brother and I were delightfully surprised at just how adorable this lil treasure was and the food??? Absolutely EXCELLENT ! We are at the bar and couldn't have had better service, atmosphere, dinner & dessert ‼If you find yourself in the Fort Atkinson area, you MUST give them a visit!

Big chef in a small kitchen is pumping out some darn good eats! Our unruly group of 20+ was served perfectly in the cozy basement room. They even somehow got all our checks right.

we came here while driving thru town. i was glad we stopped. the food was very good and flavorful. waitress was attentive and had a great attitude. we will definitely be back again.

Was extremely busy when we got there; the server never let our glasses go empty and was friendly. The vibe is warm, friendly, and welcoming. Food was amazing!

Pretty limited on drinks. Atmosphere very pub like and great social distance between tables. Pretzel was a little disappointing. Not worth the $15. Whiskey burger was an absolute delight. Serving staff was friendly and attentive. A little pricey and the food really took a long time. Probably 30 min. Looks like they have a good variety of food.

This is a great, small, beautifully decorated pub located just off of Main Street. They offer many different food items, and have an great drinks menu as well. I liked all of the decor in the building, which included different photographs, painting, and vintage signs. The service was also great, and we liked our server that we had. If you are visiting I would recommend this pub for some good food and drinks at a reasonable price!

    Main room

Great food and drinks with parking across the street. Many local beers and of coarse Guinness.

This may not be Ireland but it damn good a small Wisconsin town in the U.S. They have a menu of about six sandwiches, a pasta, salad, garlic bread and one dessert. I don't know if this is the menu all the time or just late night. I had the Reuben and a Guinness draught, it was a solid sandwich with kettle chips and a pickle spear. The draught was a good solid pour. The service is nice and quick. The Kilkenny cream ale is also a good pour. The chocolate mascarpone cheesecake has a chocolate crumb crust, it's a nice light chocolate mouse like pie, its a bit sweet for me, but fine for a restaurant grade bulk dessert. It's a nice place, lots of room to move, good for large and small groups. I'll keep this on my short list for when I'm in the area again.

My issue is with anything that characterizes them as a "restaurant". They're not. They have an electric frying pan on the back bar and you should expect a 30 minute wait on a simple sandwich. If you go with 2 or 3 other people, don't expect your meals to arrive at the same time. This is not a restaurant. They should just give up on the food thing and become a better bar.

The other components of the dish included fried bangers (sausages), black & white pudding (blood sausage & pork), baked beans, sauteed mushrooms, grilled tomatoes, bacon, and another small puck of sausage, as well as brown bread and butter. It was a great value with some items I liked and some I didn't due to personal preference, not because anything wasn't prepared well, as it all appeared to be cooked properly. My girlfriend ordered the Celtic Grilled Cheese with bacon, arugula, aged white cheddar, aioli, grilled tomatoes on toasted sourdough. Her sandwich looked amazing, and I regret not asking for a bite. That may be a future order for me. She loved it! I also ordered the County Clare Bloody Mary, which is made with their own seasoning blend and served with a chaser of Harp beer. They asked me how spicy I wanted it, and I said medium, which I think they nailed. This was one of the best Bloodies I've had in town! Overall, a nice brunch experience with good service and a great ambience. I do want to return to try more brunch items.
