I left the salon with too much product weighing down my hair, no volume and half curled hair. It was so bad it was laughable. I initially told my stylist that I have trouble holding volume in my hair and would most likely need rollers. She seemed to struggle with my hair (lots of hair but fine so it gets weighed down) and added too much product making it fall even more. Overall she was blowing out my hair for a while then left the rollers in for a short period that definitely wasn't long enough to impart volume. This was all followed up by using a curling iron on a few pieces of hair. I felt like a more seasoned hair stylist may have approached the task with a different technique and didn't feel confident in the stylists ability. This is in no means a reflection on the salons customer service as everyone was very nice. Would not come back and regret spending the money on this service.

When I arrived, I had my two-year-old with me in a stroller. She was calm, quiet, and watching a movie completely unbothering anyone. The salon itself was nearly empty, with only one other client present. Instead of being welcomed, I was immediately met with a very cold and judgmental attitude from the front desk. I was looked up and down, along with my stroller, and told in a very rude and inflexible manner that children were not allowed and that I would either need to leave or reschedule. As a mother, it is not always easy to find time for self-care, and I made the effort to come in for this appointment. The lack of empathy or basic courtesy was honestly shocking. There was zero attempt to accommodate, problem-solve, or even speak kindly. To make matters worse, I was charged $75 (50% of the service) simply for having to leave despite the fact that the situation could have been handled with basic human decency and flexibility. I do want to note that Desi, the hairstylist, did try to be kind while witnessing the way I was being treated, and I appreciate that. I understand this situation was not her fault. However, the overall customer service and experience are a direct reflection of the business she represents. This was the first time I've ever experienced something like this at a salon. I left feeling embarrassed, dismissed, and frankly, discriminated against for being a mother. I will not be returning, and I would not recommend this salon especially to other moms. There are plenty of places that treat clients with respect, kindness, and understanding. This was not one of them.

Seriously, a hair and beauty business with 6-8 creative professionals on staff at the time, and no one could do a simple ponytail? On the day of her rehearsal dinner! The bride ended up crying in the chair, and I started crying too, and no one working there cared or showed the slightest bit of empathy. When I expressed my disappointment on the way out, the girl at checkout (don't know her name, but she had pink hair) dismissively told me that ponytails are considered an "updo," and they didn't have enough girls trained in a ponytail to do my sister's. When I pointed out that ponytails are listed under the blowout section on their own website, she just looked away and didn't respond. No acknowledgment, no apology--just silent, rude indifference. They offer several "sips" including seasonal sips. The blowouts are always consistent and if you get a membership any extra you get during the month are only 40.00. All the stylists are very talented and nice and their shampoo scalp massages are the best. Also there is a private parking lot which comes in handy in downtown St. Pete.
