Being a fairly frugal person, the cost of the services was 25% more than what I'm personally used to or have ever paid in NY, however she provided a quality service. I was a client of Tiffany's while I lived in Tampa (between 2015-2017). I usually booked a wash, ceramic press, and trim. Being natural, I was concerned with finding a hair stylist that would not cause heat damage; with her my curls bounced back every time. She is very knowledgeable about hair care and products. I did not have a problem with appointment availability, my appointments weren't long, and she was never overbooked. She has a very professional environment and down to earth personality. I came to Tiffany because someone recommended her to me. It also made me feel better seeing that she had great reviews on Yelp. While Tiffany did a decent job with my hair, she did not consider my time as valuable. I arrived at 10 AM and there was another woman waiting with me. Tiffany arrived a few minutes late and let us inside the salon. To my surprise she had someone else also scheduled for 10 AM. This made me a bit concerned because when I made the appointment I assumed that I would be the only client at that time. I could understand if Tiffany had an assistant to help her with multiple clients, but she didn't. When it was all said in done, a short bob sew-in took over 5 hrs. She had to stop doing my hair to tend to the other woman. We were there so long I had to get my nephew some food while she was perming the other lady's head. (We only planned to be there 3 hours max.) What made me leave with a bad taste in my mouth is when Tiffany left to get food without telling me. I was left sitting in the chair waiting. Again, I think she does a god job with hair but she was not considerate of my time. My cut could have been better, and my natural hair was puffy as I walked out of the salon.... I am assuming this was due to the fact that she was rushing to finish the other girls hair. She has no idea what I needed to get done that day and how her poor planning affected what I needed to accomplish that day. I was in town for a wedding and had errands to run. But the worst part is that as a business owner she did not seem to care about the inconvenience she caused me. If she would have stated a simple "I'm sorry about that" I would have left feeling a lot better about the situation. But I don't feel as if she cared, which is why I would never go back to her. read more

I liked Tiffany. She was personable w/o being overly friendly. I don't really care for stylists who feel like they have to talk nonstop to the customer. I received an interlock touch-up. I liked that she asked me about my hair-care regime and educated me about what she was doing to my hair as she was styling. For example, she told me she was putting in a stimulating conditioner. I like to know what the stylist is doing to my hair while I'm sitting in the chair. She also recommended products that I might like which was wonderful b/c I was on the fence about my current use of hair products. I loved the feel of my hair after it was done. I am BIG on how my hair feels and smells. I guess the only thing I'm on the fence about is the price. I'm use to paying a certain price that includes a style and while I paid the price I would normally pay @ my previous stylist, it didn't include a style. Soo her pricepoint may be slightly out of my budget but the service was GREAT.
