Tried this for the first time tonight. Got takeout. We got a large pizza, breadsticks and salad. The people here are very organized and you can tell they are well managed. The pizza was REALLY good and so were the breadsticks. The place was really packed inside and I still got my order on time. My family shared my enthusiasm as well for the food. This isn't an easy review to write but fair is fair and I'm sure at least a few people visited Sforno based on my first few reviews. Ordered take out tonight - February 26, 2026 - for what is our favorite pizza within 30 minutes of our house due to excellent ingredients, fantastic sauce, and no skimping on toppings or quality. Well tonight was quite disappointing - it started off great as we pulled right into a parking spot out front which has the same odds as winning the Powerball. Unfortunately, that was the only win and it went directly downhill from there. Pizzas were overdone on top, with very little sauce and cheese. My wife's pie had small extremely thin slices of onions and peppers and not a lot of those. My pie had four pcs (not filets, only one half filet and 3 pcs) of anchovy total on my pizza with small pcs of peppers. The sauce was entirely different from any pizza we have ever had at Sforno - it was bland and almost flavorless which is 180° from any pizza we have had before. It's a shame when a restaurant of any kind cheapens and or cuts back on quality ingredients for whatever reason - was the second story addition added to soon for the business to support? Did winning the Trib Live Best of the Best 2025 award listed on the door make them complacent? We will never know - but it's extremely disappointing to see this happen to a place that was fantastic up until now. read more

This place is small but the food is very good. They were extremely busy on this Friday with waits of about an hour. Everyone was extremely friendly and they made it right when found out they made the wrong hoagie, as I ordered the F&A Italian. Ok now to the best part, the Sicilian had the crispiest pepperoni I have had in a long time. There could have been some more sauce but overall a must get. We also tried the Cluck Norris and the Obi Perogi which had their unique taste. Will definitely be back but beware of limited street parking! read more

Sforno is the definition of a near-perfect dining experience. The restaurant is small and it can be difficult to get a table ... but that is completely understandable. When a place "off the beaten path" is as busy as Sforno ... there is a reason! The food is AMAZING! You can literally taste the quality of the ingredients! The atmosphere is casual and extremely welcoming. The staff is very hard-working and provides excellent service. Everyone makes you feel extremely appreciated! Our favorite thing about Sforno is the consistency of excellence. It is so hard to find this in restaurants these days. We highly recommend Sforno. I was so impressed by everything in this place. From the vibe and ambience to the delicious pizza, we enjoyed every single moment. It's BYOB, which I absolutely adore because I can bring my own wine. Finally! After 4 or more attempts to try this place out we succeeded! We wanted to try dine-in vs takeout just because we were determined to get seating and to experience everything it offers. It did not disappoint. Service could not have been any friendlier and the food any fresher. We enjoyed our encounter with staff and surroundings. BYOB with fee. Since it's a small dining area and a very popular spot , we anxiously hope our other return visits allow for in-house dining and the opportunity to check out the dessert case. So happy we tried Sforno today for lunch. It is a small place with super cool art all around the dining area. The only issue here seems the on street parking which is difficult to find but worth the walk from down the block! The menu offers something for everyone. My son tried the pizza which looked beautiful and he said it was great! My husband tried the new Cooper steak sub and loved it. I got the Alice Island Italian sub. The subs are toasted and so tasty! The Italian dressing on the sub was sweet and sooo good! Our waitress was sweet and very attentive. The owners checked in often to ask how the food was. Such nice people that really seem to care about the experience. We are already talking about when we will return to try something else on the menu. Recommend 100%. read more

First time trying their pizza. Got the Betty White pizza. It was exceptional! The crust is light and crunchy. The pizza had plenty of garlic (where a lot of places fail to put enough garlic on their white pizza). Highly recommend if you haven't tried their pizza. The breadsticks are FIRE, fluffy, gigantic and so impressive: a MUST add to your meal--trust me. In fact, everything was so delectable that I gobbled it right up before taking pics! We came here with a group of 8. Sforno sits on a semi-busy street in Jeanette. The service was really good. The owner or manager came over a couple times to talk with us and ask us about our meals. The pizza is just awesome. We ordered bread sticks to start. They are thick and the sauce with them was really good. We got a mix of pizzas and flatbreads. Let me just say it was a great find, from the cozy decor to the welcoming atmosphere to the friendly staff. The food was amazing! I had the Hallie Berry salad and The Betty White pizza, my husband had a traditional pizza with mushrooms and onions. The poppyseed dressing on the salad was the best dressing and the pizza was delicious. The owner walked around talking with every table. Our waiter, Doug, super friendly and efficient. He brought us a piece of his favorite cake for dessert, it was a lemon cake. It very and was just the right amount of lemon. Definitely a hidden gem and return. read more

This was our first time visiting the restaurant and I literally cannot say enough about the food, the service, the atmosphere. We had salads, a meatball sub and a pizza. One was better than the next! The pizza is so delicious that I suggested that they get on DoorDash so I could order it anytime I want! Everything from the salad dressing to the bread used for the sub to the crust of the pizza was fresh, delicious and amazing. It's so hard to find really great pizza anymore and this is my new favorite. They even surprised me with a delicious strawberry dessert when I mentioned in conversation that I had a recent birthday. I had the chance to try Sforno's pizzas over the last couple of months and am very satisfied with both experiences there. The dough is homemade and some of the best I've ever tasted and the ingredients are top quality. The crust was cooked to perfection and the 16 cut square was super light and airy inside and crisp crunchy crust outside. The restaurants and bathrooms are very clean and the service was excellent in both occasions. The once we ate there and the owner came out to say Hi and ask how the pizza was which was cool and the other time they happily delivered our pie to the brewery down the street we were having a beer at. 10 out of 10 for sure read more
