Horrible experience. Took me literally about 30 days to get my gun when it was supposed to be done by the first. I made the stupid mistake of getting it cerakoted by them which is why it took so long. Ordered on the 16th of Sept...picked up on Oct 15 2017....the cerakote is a little bit messed up and not just that but I ordered a DUTY HOLSTER for my gun at that same time(Sept 16th) and it STILL wasn't in. Then they gave me this one today(Oct 17) . "No refunds, no exchanges" is all I kept hearing from these monkeys. The manager told me "don't listen to what the manual says." What the heck? It says concealment right on the box! My work said no, I can't use it so I contacted my bank. Worst decision ever, will never be going back and will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. They're always out of everything, all of them have hella attitude there and I mean, it took 30 days to receive a holster there that ended up being WRONG!! Seriously. I will never go back. I've spoken to a lot of the gun shops in the area and they were blown away by their lack of professionalism and stupidity. I know a lot of cops and security officers in this area and will be letting them know. I've already told my boss about everything and they are also going to make sure people know about how bad they were. Heard from a lot of people how racist and sexist they are as well. Just a bunch of dumb people who decided to open up a business. Definitely lost my business and have already spread the word. Just such a headache. Sierra Arms has some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. The staff kept lying to me for weeks, telling me that the gun I ordered would be in "within two weeks" of me placing my order. 2 months later, I learned from one of the guys who works there, that my gun had never even been ordered. So, I got my money back, minus a "re-stocking fee" (how can there be a restocking fee if the gun wasn't even there, or on the way?) and I went to On Target Arms. On Target had my gun in the store in under a week. If you want to get treated poorly, be lied to, and not get the items that you pay for, then Sierra Arms is a great place for you to go. If your not an already established customer in their mind or law enforcement they don't really give you time of day. The tall girl is helpful when she's there . I experienced Horrible costumer service at this store. I waited in line for 25 -30 minutes and the Employees decided to not to even acknowledge me . I went as far as to walk around and pick up items I wanted to purchase and when in line the staff helped people coming through the door behind me. They never once asked if I needed anything or attempted to help me. I truly believe it has to do with race . Also I have had family members have the same experience at different times. Went in and waited for an associate to speak to me, there was only one other customer there and 2-3 employees, waited for about 10 minutes to for an employee to speak to me about buying a pistol and after the third time that I was walked past, I left. Take your hard earned money else where, these people are a joke.. my first experience there was decent was greeted by someone behind the counter as soon as i walked in ,i was looking for 5.56 ammo now i understand the shortage of ammo there is but $19.99 for a 20 round box is ridiculous. Literally $1 a round so walked out empty handed went to big 5 and got a box of 150 rounds for $77.99....however my 2nd experience there is why i wont give them any more business, i was there for 45acp ammo since i couldnt find elsewhere decided to pay the ridiculous price of $47.99 for a box of 50 rounds , literally had to wait 30-45min for somone to check me out with 4 people behind the counter and 3 other people in the store if your not white they wont pay you any mind they will literally ignore you as your just standing there waiting to be helped... seems like a racist environment and way overpriced take your business elsewhere. read more

Sierra Arms, does not know about the law and filing of paperwork. Attempted to make a private party transfer there and had all the correct paperwork (had just purchased a gun in January in Los Banos, and had just purchased a gun in February in Sacramento) The clerks at this store did not know the correct paperwork when they saw it and attempted to advise me that I needed this or that. Instead of just advising that they didn't want to do it. Would have made a big hassle in attempting to do a private party transfer if there wasn't another gun shop over the freeway that completed all the paperwork for us. The clerk and the owner of this other gun shop laughed so hard when they were advised what Sierra Arms had done. Looking at their prices, looking at the fact that they do not know the correct paperwork for buying a gun, I would say avoid this place at all cost. Just a waste of time. read more

Picked up my Heritage .22 single-action on Saturday June 29. Never put a cartridge in it or fired it. On Monday the action totally locked up - trigger, hammer and cylinder. I didn't want to take it apart and possibly make it worse so I took it back. The employee (owner?) fiddled with it, took the cylinder out and put it back and then it worked. He said it could be a timing problem and maybe if I fired some rounds and/or pulled the hammer and released it a lot, it may not do it again. May? He told me that this shop has no return policy, no matter what the problem or how obvious the defect may be. It is totally between me and the manufacturer to work it out. Obviously I am disappointed about both the policy and the attitude and will not shop here again. read more

I brought in 3 rifles for consignment, several years ago, I have never heard anything in return. I have since made contact, on multiple occasions, in person, over the phone and via email. I get the run around each time, I have given them a copy of my DL so they can do the research, I am then told the person who can access the older information is either at lunch or it is that person's day off, but when they are back, they will check it out and contact me later that same day, or at least one day later....then nothing happens, I am a patient person, but I started this quest 4 years ago, and have no resolution. When I have went into the store, in person, the rifles I brought in, are now gone (sold), but I have nothing to show for it. read more

I went in for the first time with a million questions. Pete and Roger were very helpful and informative. They know their stuff! Eventually, I made an order through them and everything went buttery smooth. A few days later, I realized I had made a mistake in my order and tried to get a hold of Pete to see if he could change it for me. It was late Saturday night, so my only choice was to email. Monday morning, as soon as he opened the store, I received his email with my order change. I was surprised he could change it for me on such a last-minute notice. I truly appreciate it and this great customer service inspired my 5-star review. When my package arrived, Nate (I hope that's his name - I'm bad with names) gave me a call and notified me. I got in late in the week and he was very helpful in getting everything in order for me, gave me a full refund for the mistake I made in the order, and even took the time to answer more of my questions and showed me some more of the cool, shiny toys they carry. If you were not aware of the current situation gun sales are up and they are busy store because of their good prices. Good luck at barnwood I just got gouged for $200 on a pistol at barnwood. They pulled a gun from the back identical to the one in the case that I was shown. I then put a deposit and ran my dros when I came into pick up it up it was almost $200 more. They told me I had to take that one obviously because of the serial number. And their excuse was they received my gun from a different supplier and it was more money for the exact same gun.
