I look forward to returning with my wife, who was so jealous after seeing my photos. This was my first visit to Plumas County. Autumn colors made it especially stunning. There was several great bands on Friday night - they stopped playing at 10:00pm so I could still get my beauty sleep . the bathroom looks like it's been recently updated - nicely done! Quintopia has great beer choices and an amazing menu! I had the Spicy Chicken Sandwich and the Corn Ribs. Delicious!!!

Outstanding Customer Service - Truly Above and Beyond…read more We stayed at Best Western in Susanville, California while traveling to Mammoth during our move, and I can honestly say this was one of the best hotel experiences we've had. Dylan and Leslie, who were working the front desk, were absolutely amazing. They were incredibly welcoming, kind, and helpful from the moment we arrived. Traveling late can be exhausting, especially with a family, but they made us feel genuinely cared for. They even made the bed for our child, which meant more to us than they probably realize. My wife and I are not used to this level of customer service from hotel front desk staff, especially arriving late, when at many other hotels it feels like you're inconveniencing someone. That was not the case here. Dylan and Leslie were attentive, friendly, and professional the entire time. Susanville's Best Western is, by far, one of the best places we've stayed. If this hotel sets the standard for customer service, others should take notes. Huge thank you to Dylan and Leslie for making our stay so comfortable and memorable, we will absolutely be back.

I knew exactly where I left it. When I called the lodge and advised of this they stated they'd look for it and check with cleaning crew and call me back. They did call me back and stated nobody had seen it. I knew exactly where I placed it before I checked out and they were insistent nobody had seen it. IMO, a small amount of decency and integrity speak volumes and will get my referrals as well as repeat business. I'd rather have an ok steak with exceptional customer service than a fabulous steak with poor customer service. Honesty is free and anybody can do it!

I forgot my garter and was 30-minutes away from walking down the aisle, in the middle of a photo shoot. I called Stephanie to see if the garter was in my room. She sent Bill in, he found it and drove 20-minutes to get it to me!!! I have been blown away by this while experience. To say I am pleased would be a huge understatement! I called and made reservations, and looked up their menu and info about the Lodge. Tuesday nights Special, was Braised Pot Roast with Au Gratin potatoes and veggies. I was licking my lips, in anticipation. We arrived entered into a beautiful Log Beamed Great Room Restaurant and a stoked Fire, burning. They seated us in front of the fire. My wife had the Justin Cab to drink, with dinner, as I had beer. Excellent choices, as we both had the Pot Roast Special, I had the salad, Caesar, while my wife had the New England Clam Chowder. The meal was exceptional. There was very little fat on the Pot Roast and the Au Gratins, with string beans and zucchini. We had the blackberry pie a la mode and lemon sorbet, with coffee, fresh cup. Service was excellent, and we both walked out, happy and full. Price is excellent as the Chef, has 50+ years of experience with a culinary education . We made another reservation for this Friday, for the Bison Filet Special, before they close, for the season. Cannot wait for Friday...!!!!
