The shop keeper was at the register, maybe doing some paperwork. She was occupied and very quiet. Her store was very cute and I spent a lot of time looking at the earrings. I was trying to see if there was something I couldn't live without. I believe they were sterling silver and all around $18 each. There were bars of soap for men and women, earrings, candles... the kitchen towels with the clever sayings had me cracking up. I had to get one! After looking around the shop, I got to say hello and speak with the shop keeper. She was very sweet and pleasant. I liked that I was able to do a mobile payment. It made checking out fast & easy! On the weekends or during Downtown events, parking can be nearly impossible, but there is a small parking lot around the corner. I could easily spend the day out here going inside of every shop and picking at least one place to eat. There is plenty of popular eateries to choose from... that will leave you making the difficult decision of trying to pick where to eat!

Showed the person helping us my darts so she knew what I needed. She said I would need to know the sku numbers for her to get me what I wanted to see. I asked to see anything that would fit my current set of darts, but was told they couldn't do that. So I asked if I could walk a little closer to see what was on display on the wall and pick some out. Instead I was told I couldn't get any closer and was told to find what I wanted on my phone then show her what I was looking for. It didn't get any better, the store has nice selection, but that last experience was a very disappointing one. Even the friend who was really excited to join me said he didn't want to deal with that and left empty handed.

I requested a larger size, and the fitting room employee came over and asked if I wanted to be measured. I declined and simply asked for the sizes I requested so I could try them on. She then looked at me and said, "Well, that's definitely not going to fit you," implying that the size I was asking for was way too big. She continued trying to convince me to try on the size I had already tried, even after I explained that it was uncomfortable and that I wanted to try the sizes I requested. I ended up trying on and purchasing the exact size she told me was "definitely not going to fit." It actually fit me and was the size that worked for me. That made the interaction even more frustrating because there was no reason for me to be made to feel uncomfortable or judged for asking for a different size. Employees need to work on their delivery and make sure they aren't making assumptions about customers' sizing. If a customer asks to try on a different size, there is no need to shame them or tell them it won't fit without even letting them try it. I felt completely disrespected and uncomfortable during the interaction. Definitely not the customer service experience I expected, and I won't be shopping here anytime soon.
