I had a pleasant shopping experience here when I stopped by during a sale. I encountered multiple workers who were helpful, offered assistance, made suggestions, answered questions, & directed my search, but interactions didn't feel intrusive or pushy. I was comfortable just browsing. It was nostalgic to smell the lotion scents that have been classics here for ages. The store was mostly organized & neat, but searching through their drawers was not as organized with a mix of styles & sizes in incorrectly labeled areas. I found a variety of items & took advantage of their deals. The lady who rang me up was friendly, but there was an error in signing me up for their rewards program which caused a small issue. read more

I opened up and told her what I was looking for. She was very kind, excitable, and cared to help me find what I wanted! I went to the dressing room a couple times and the ladies that helped me there were amazing too! I have never felt so confident walking out of that store with a purchase! I have been shopping at VS for over 30 years, this store had the worst customer service I have encountered. It was not busy and it felt like I was inconveniencing workers when I asked for help. The other thing I noticed was the type of service delivered by young workers to someone like me in my 50's- almost condescending. One even made a remark about my size, and was way off.... I thought it was rather rude, rather than just asking me. Again, this is the only store while shopping VS over decades and at various states in CA as well as out of state. read more

We really like going to the store, the staff is very nice. Today the cashier Kira was especially good and helpful. My only complaint is their T-shirts are always really expensive and I never understood why. I haven't bought a new bra in years but decided it was finally time to treat myself! I had no idea what my new sizing was or what type of bra would be best for me and was a little lost.. Iris was able to assist me and made the experience so great! I was so nervous/uncomfortable but she really made it a lovely shopping day! However, I also had an unfortunate experience with a manager Michael who left a poor taste in my mouth. He was rude to his employees and very condescending when speaking to them. As someone who has worked in retail for 8+ years I understand what great customer service is and although Michael was a disappointing employee I am so grateful for the experience with Iris and I will be going back just for her assistance! A reminder that management should be kind and lead their employees otherwise customers will notice and be disappointed with service. read more

Recently came here with a friend to use the generous gift card mentioned in my previous review, and had a good experience. The semi-annual sale had ended, but there was a new sale going on, which I failed to notice the name of. My friend and I were walking around, and I had resorted to helping her pick things out, since I didn't think I would find anything. An employee came up to me and said, "Excuse me, I couldn't help but notice that the bra you're wearing is on sale. I hope I'm not bugging you, but--" I said, "I did NOT know that. Where is it?" She walked me right to it. Of course, I had walked right by it, and missed it. I ended up buying three more. The fitting room employees were friendly. As always, they offered numerous times to "size" me, which I declined. Imagine getting to my age without knowing your proper bra size. When I checked out, one of the bras rang up for $5 more than the sign said. When I pointed this out, the cashier said, "No, it's this price, do you still want to get it?" I've had this issue with Victoria's Secret numerous times-- I'm pretty sure weights and measures could have a field day with them. This was my justification for knocking off a star. The bra was un-pass-up-able, though... After a second's pause, I was like, "Yeah, I'll still get it." I went to this Victoria's Secret during the sale. I didn't know there was a sale so that was cool. I waited in the dressing room line. The nicest associate helped me. she remembered my place in line. it formed on two sides. Thank you Kennedy! I asked to be measured. she was very polite. I got some really nice mint colored items and some perfume. I only gave 4 stars because my card didn't work. I had to use another card, which was fine. Victoria's Secret has a policy of canceling cards due to NON USE. they should tell you this when you apply. I will be shopping here less frequently. Upon entering the dressing room a employee came running over to measure me which I politely declined - she then rudely said well what's your size and I told her and she said you well don't look like a 36 B in a loud voice ---- I said well I am as I just purchased a new bra from Victorias a few months ago - so instead of purchasing all my items which equaled about $200.00 I set them down and walked out !!!! My mom and I were in there tonight to purchase a few beauty products and there was a very long line for quite some time with only one associate at the register. Looked to be a few tedious transactions going on, which is normal in retail. What wasn't normal was that hardly anyone was walking around the store (we were all in line) and only the other associates were walking around, looking at the growing line, and continuing on their way. We were in line for 20 minutes with there still only being one associate at the register with the same family before another gal finally stepped over to the second one. Had a fantastic experience here today. I recently lost a lot of weight (40 pounds) and need new everything. Was measured (and super surprised by how "off" I was on my own guesstimate), and had a stylist walk around and show me everything I was interested in. No one was pushy or "weird" as I saw in other reviews. Everyone working there was incredibly helpful. They didn't have the underwear I wanted in stock, so they ordered them to my home! At the sale price! In all, I bought 3 bras and 10 pairs of underwear, and it could not have been easier. I feel like a whole new woman, and have the staff at VS to thank for that. I think if they offer to size you for your bra size, YOU SHOULD JUST DO IT!! I huge percent of women ARE NOT even wearing the right size bra! So we got sized and were left loose through out the store.. thankfully, there was plenty of staff working because women can be like wild animals during a Victoria Secret sale. You see your size during a sale, it could possibly be the last one, so you grab it.. but some women will see another one, like that better, put the other down, start mixing, unfolding, unorganizing... bra's & panties of all sizes mixed... but that was not the case here. The staff was attentive and very helpful. Jantzee is my all-star staff member. She is my favorite person here! I suppose it is time to update. VS is still my guilty pleasure but have veered a little based on their greed as a company. I used to get free panty coupons as an Angel member and now they nixed that and require you to purchase X in order to get it if at all. They used to give you $10 off for doing a survey off your receipt, that is gone. Price points are astronomical now. Most nice Bras are now in the $60+ range and they don't even offer that $10 off coupon anymore either! Love the PINK bling tees and they want $60 for those. Just can't do it. I come less often than before and have actually walked out empty handed which rarely ever happens. As for this store, stock selection is still a challenge. If you are a small or XS, you are set but if you not, good luck. It is even hard to find mediums sometimes much less a large. Yeah yeah they say they can order it online for you but funny they never do. It is ridiculous. Drawer bins are poorly marked or not at all so you have no idea what is in them. My drawer size is always sparse if not almost empty. Service is hit or miss. I get greeted and all but sometimes wonder about the product knowledge and the essence of true customer service. Most are very young though. The VS customer is all ages and sometimes i think it is hard for a 19 year old to understand that 40+ customer who can spend the money that store requires. read more

I've always received excellent cust service here but today Melissa and Natalie went above and beyond!! I was just looking for a bra that fit right cause they had a sale for $20. I've been trying on and buying the complete wrong size for a long time I found out!!! They explained to me why they were the wrong size and what to look for. They started bringing me different sizes and styles and checking on my to see if it was correctly fitting me in all the right places. Now this is on a Sunday on a holiday weekend and you guessed it, they were slammed! They both were helping multiple guests along with helping me and they were multi tasking at the finest! I heard them talking with others and still coming to help me and still taking their time with all of us! Never did I feel rushed, I actually was really starting to have fun finding my true fit! Associate was rude with my daughter. Suggested Maybe she didn't have enough money in her account because they neglected to realize and listen that she was doing Apple Pay to cover the in store purchase and then the pending order to be shipped out later could not take Apple Pay for that order. They called manager and then the associate was cutting me off as I explained. My daughter spent over $200 and works and paying way too much for rudeness. She completed the transaction if I were paying I would have left everything in the store and not given them business. Drove up from out of town for her to shop. My daughter works customer service too and would never suggest a customer didn't have enough funds And zero apologies But plenty attitude Went back to complain to manager she brushed me off said that's not what was meant. Wow the new remodel store feels cheap and generic. Nothing about it was inviting or made me want to shop here. So sad

Absolutely awful past experience here on Friday October 6th. I went in needing a strapless bra. We called in advanced to see if my size was in stock and the associate said it was. We get there the associate has a hard time finding it. My sister and I do a better job and locate it. I stand at the fitting room for a good 20 minutes with my sister, and there is two employees just standing around chatting about a specific customer. It honestly sounded like they were talking bad about her. Keep in mind VS PINK store got a complete beautiful updated makeover but the employees are so not helpful. There are SO many dressing rooms open... but for whatever reason they couldn't bother to realize that I was standing right there waiting for 20 MINUTES. They just can't be bothered. I give up and head to the long line in front of the register. The gal ringing us up takes forever and a day to collect cash from another register..like I am about to lose my patience. Just an overall terrible awful experience. I'll take my business to the Folsom Palladio location instead. Sheesh. read more

Lol oh the irony My girlfriend and I went lingerie shopping, thinking it was like the old days where you could sit in the chair next to the fitting room with your woman, we're going to the fitting room so she can show you what she's wearing and then you can build her confidence. The woman that worked the fitting room on Sunday stopped me a male From joining my girlfriend we ended up buying one item and now we're going to return it because we decided to buy $700 worth of items to try on at home and then send back what we don't like from another company other than Victoria's Secret. I walked in with a purpose I already knew there was a sale going on so I was going straight to the bins when I noticed a short haired blonde lady who was running towards me and when I looked at her she asked what I was there for. First of all I understand they have a job to do but you don't have to be running at me. That was totally weird. Then I'm sure she talked on her little mic and told people to keep an eye on me because immediately I had two other women standing on each side of me who were barely even doing anything just "adjusting" items which made me feel extremely uncomfortable. I ended up leaving the store because who needs people monitoring you when you're trying to just buy underwear lol. The whole vibe at this location is snobby and WEIRD. They have a great selection of VS and Pink merch, which is nice. I'm bummed that the location in the Sunrise mall closed, so now I have to travel to the Roseville location. I've had pretty solid experiences here, but last week was a bit weird because I came near closing and had to grab what I needed quickly so they could close up. However, that didn't stop one of the ladies from flagging me down and hounding me to open a credit card(the angel card?), three times. I get that it's part of their job to upsell on these, but I shouldn't have had to say no three times. Right after I said no the 2nd time, she was like "oh let me get you started and see if we can get you approved!" and started pulling out their tablet, but I literally said no? I love Victoria's Secret! I have been shopping here for many years and at many different locations too. At first, I was thinking Victoria's Secret was a lingerie store only but I was wrong (thankfully). Not that I don't love lingerie! I do because it brings out my girly feminine side but in my mind, I was thinking that Victoria's Secret was going to be very expensive; it is expensive to an extent but, they sell so much more than just gorgeous lingerie. This one location in Roseville is huge! They have an individual Pink store (which is one of their signature brands), a Victoria's Secret sports section that sells yoga pants and sports wear, a bath and body section and of course their Victoria Secret section with pajamas, lingerie and t shirts (which are actually very cute and adorable). Quick tip invest in getting their credit card because with the card, you will receive all kinds of freebies like free pairs of underwear, discounts on your purchases (with coupons that you receive in the mail), and a birthday gift during the month of your birthday (yay)! I love this particular location because the customer service here is outstanding and they always have a wide selection of merchandise. The one downside are the lines! The lines are super long (which I guess is an indication of the store's popularity) so give yourself plenty of time when shopping here. read more

This is a nice place to buy under garments and much more I wish they had a larger selection size on bigger bras :/ they have clothes perfumes for men and woman very clean atmosphere very large selection of different sizes helpful staff and if you don't know your bra size they can measure you to the correct sizes and make sure you are getting the perfect fit plus they always have sales which makes it even better and they provide gift boxes if you need them I highly recommend them to anyone I will be back for future visits read more

This is, by far, the best Victoria's Secret I have ever been to. I was running around the store with multiple sizes in my hand because I wanted to see which one fit the best. I headed towards the dressing room with multiple bras in my hand totally clueless. That is when I met Julie...the best icon of customer service I have ever approached. Seriously, this girl was awesome and knew her stuff. I think she immediately saw the question mark over my head and went straight to work. She measured me, brought me some bras, and was there every step of the way. Super personalized...and she was running around helping multiple people. What an experience. Normally, walking into a Victoria's Secret is nerve racking. I hate shopping for bras and undies. She really made it fun and I felt accomplished leaving. For Christmas my mother had generously purchased me 4 different bras and 12 different panties but unfortunately, they were not the right sizes and not my personal preference in style so I stopped into this Victoria's Secret to exchange. I went to the check out counter first to verify what would be easiest for them, if I should find items I like first and then return or just return first and get store credit and then use that to purchase the new items. I was told to just hold my items and bring them back once I found the new items I wanted to exchange for. Easy! Luckily, for me they were having a huge sale that day and many bras/panties appeared to be 1/2 off. Which is probably why the store was a mad house! After recently loosing a bunch of weight, I wast exactly sure of my true bra size and thankfully to the awesome staff here Monica quickly helped size me over my clothes and sent me to the fitting room to ensure the size was correct. Courtney helped me in the fitting rooms and got me into a bra that not only fit but that I loved and felt so sexy in. Double score! After sorting through the bins of panties I found a bunch that I loved which happened to be more than 12 but figured I would just pay the difference. During checkout the lady at the register was extremely patient and very helpful with my return as I guess I was supposed to exchange items that were the exact same as what was returning? Which I was unaware of but it all worked out and I only ended up having to pay $6 difference and even scored a 20% off coupon for my next visit. I left a very happy shopper! Fitted and flattered! I love the new stream-lined process the associates take you through upon arrival. It makes what could easily become a discouraging and daunting process, an efficient and satisfying experience. I was greeted immediately upon arrival (regardless of the fact that this place was LIT! Buy one, get one free sales are no joke.) The first associate I met with seemed to be a bit of a consultant. She asked what my needs were and if I was looking for anything in particular, what I loved about bras and what I hated about them, filled out an information card with all of my answers and escorted me back to the fitting room. Once in the fitting area, I was introduced to Sarah-- the associate responsible for getting me settled into a room and providing me with various bras to try on according to the info card. She was a doll! Great sense of humor, seemed to really hear me, and was on top of her game. I quickly found 3 different bras I fell in LOVE with. As soon as I decided on the styles I wanted, I was escorted to yet another associate who took me through the store to gather those pieces. She then escorted me all the way to the check out counter and passed me off to the cashiers. Everyone I came in contact with-- and as you can see, there were quite a few!-- were professional, knowledgeable and infectiously positive. The ONLY reason I didn't give them 5 stars is due to a couple of mishaps with 2 of the bras-- one missing straps, and the other not being in my size. Soooo glad I checked the bag before leaving the galleria. They were super welcoming when I returned to ask to switch out the item, though, and had it shipped to my house when they realized they didn't have the size in-store. read more
