I have thought long and hard of how to write a review on Sierra Flow Fitness (SFF). I wanted to give SFF a review in a different light, away from the typical reviews done on a business. I feel it's important to tell a story, MY story to help convey the importance and the impact this business has had on my life. So I present here a thank you note I gave Susan and April (the owners of SFF). What I love about SFF is the different fitness levels tailored to its members, from the beginners (group classes) to more serious members (semi personal training) to experienced gym members (rooms with fully equipped machines). For beginners and on-going members who need guidance and structure with their work out, SFF offers so many different varieties of group classes from Dance, Spin, Yoga, Cardio Kickboxing, Pole Dancing to Tone and Sculpt, Weight Training to Endurance Training, etc. I currently am taking 15-17 classes weekly and that IS NOT all the classes there are! I struggle (it's a good struggle!) to take less because each class is unique with a different focus. For the asking price, it's a bargain! The instructors are motivating, supportive, and encouraging with their own styles of teaching.  The semi personal training sessions are offered throughout the day, from 5am to 6pm, 5 days per week in small groups of 4-6 members where the instructors work with individuals on different machines, focusing on correcting technique and form.  Then there is the fully equipped gym for members who want to workout by themselves. SFF has 4-5 gym units that are separated from each to give you that home gym feel with so much privacy and coziness. Better yet, you can work out 24/7 at your own pace, your own time and you can access to the gym without anyone checking you in or out. The gym is never too crowded to make you feel trapped. It feels like you have your own gym at home with the exception of driving to it.  And if you come often enough to become a regular, you might get a call from Susie to check in on you when you are absent in one of her classes. You will not find another gym that is as unique, different and supportive as SFF locally. Be ready to be motivated. Be ready to be inspired. Be ready to turn work out into a life style. I dropped in for a strength class while I was in the area and loved it! The community was very welcoming and friendly, plus I got a great workout. I was impressed to see how much variety this facility offers- my family visits the area a few times each year, so I will definitely be back and I look forward to trying out different classes the next time I'm in town. read more

A 24 hour gym in Tuolumne County...YES please! This place is awesome. There are tons of group "ground" class options, you can just get a pass for general gym access, or you can go all out and get the ground, gym, and aerial class pass...which includes intro to pole dancing! The instructors are fun and make classes accessible for all stages, whether you're new to working out or a long time fitness expert. Plenty of parking, and equipment available if you need it for class, including yoga mats. Try out the relaxing, free candlelight yoga in the evening to see what it's like! read more

Total fraud. I canceled my membership 4 months ago, through multiple forms of communication. They have continued to charge me every month since, I've contacted them each month that they've charged my cancelled membership, sometimes I get a reply, sometimes not, however, they just continue to charge my card anyway. Now I'm forced to have my bank fight to try to get these false charges reimbursed. Definitely steer clear of this place, pretty shady business practices Plus it's way overpriced for what you get, very basic small gym, with limited options, at $100+ price point, ouch read more

I've been a member of this gym since inception and I'm hooked! I've witness all of the evolution and expansions take place each year they've been in business and it is impressive to say the least! Not only have I seen results in myself with the strength and training but I have also seen many transformations of others as well. The upbeat environment makes it easy to show up and makes you want to be there. The owners and staff always go above and beyond to help you achieve your goals. The culture of Sierra Flow is priceless and I wouldn't imagine going anywhere else. They have a full 24 hour gym with great equipment, exercise classes and personal training. The owner of this gym clearly doesn't care about gaining business. I have been texting her for months now. She will reply when convenient for her at 6:15 am on a Sunday. I have tried to contact her since November of 2020. She has blown me off so many times. My husband and I were trying to join seeing as its the closest gym to us, but her attitude has made it clear she doesn't need or want new clients. Sad...best of luck to her and it's unfortunate for her staff. I hear great things about the personal training there. Hope this helps. Sierra flow fitness has quite honestly changed my life in the best way. I was an athlete in high school, but never made time for the gym in college. Fast forward to after that. I knew I needed to start making time to work out. I started going to Zumba and pound classes right when they opened years ago. I had a blast. High energy classes. Great instructors. Fun and positive environment. I kept going back. At this point in time I can honestly say I have tried almost every class they have offered and love it. Fitness is now a permanent staple of my lifestyle. It made such a difference to me that I took the time to become a certified instructor for multiple classes. Very clean, well kept. Easy access late at night perfect for graveyard shifts. All the people are happy and easy to deal with. No drama. Never crowded in the off hours. My wife loves the dance classes. You have everything you need but never have to deal with a crowd. The part I like the most is that things are kept clean and neat and they obviously care about keeping it fun and drama free. The dance classes keep my wife happy, she likes it more social, and I like the off hours where I can come in and have the whole place to myself. The trainers are all top level, not just physically but they know form, nutrition, and can help you learn how to navigate a transition into a fit lifestyle. Sierra Flow Fitness is a really cool place to workout. They have a perfect functional training center with free weights, benches, punching bags, battle ropes and squat racks. Their strength training classes are great for a person looking to get in shape with a formulated workout under excellent guidance.
