i have so much to say i dont even know how. to sum it up dont go here. dont work here cus they will lie about you, lie to you, leave you alone, with no supplies, with no answer, no help. if your grandpa dies? they demand a death certificate or u cant get time off for his funeral next week. if ur pregnant and ur baby dies while ur at work and u need to go to the dr? nope u dont get to cus 24hrs is apparently short notice even tho its short notice to u too. somehow only you and one other person are scheduled for the shift?? goodluck you MIGHT get ONE person MAYBE to help take care of 60 ppl but they come in during the last 4 hours of the shift. you see a caregiver repeatedly neglecting their residents so you tell the boss? well too bad the boss doesnt care, doesnt do anything about it, and continues to be problematic with the staff that actually do their job. oh maybe u speak spanish or have an accent that isnt white? oh yeah well some staff will be racist to u and say racist things but if u tell the boss the boss only says "i cant do anything about it if its only two people reporting me". so how many people does it take to stand up for someone for them to be properly defended? dont put ur family here either. do they always seem to get into something? well its too short staffed your family wont be checked on for a while. does ur family forget where they are on the way to? yeah well they accidentally went down the hall instead of the other hall so now they dont get to eat that meal. does your family wear briefs and use wipes? well if u buy them expect them to be used on all other residents because they dont want to buy enough supplies to last til the next shipement. oh you want to make sure ur staff knows what their are doing cus they r taking care of ur family? yeah well too bad most are under trained, and the ones that are good at their job are busy with the endless tasks and demands of their job and everyone elses but its impossible to get to everything and everyone. oh we are completely out of wipes? most people dont even bother to grab toilet paper they just dont wipe at all. does ur family get agressive? yeah for some staff first sign of this they take it as a refuse and dont try again to change them. does ur family need help eating and also cant leave their bed? well they get a room tray but it gets left far away from them and they have to reach for it themselves (they cant. so they dont get to eat). SO many people have moved out because of terrible management. SO many people have quit or have been wrongfully fired because of terrible management. i would never want to work for someone with such little care for other people, staff AND residents. how selfish and disgusting. there ARE some staff who are amazing and go above and beyond for every resident but they can only do so much as an individual. so if ur family is there just hope the good ones are on shift today. i dont even know how to call state tbh but alyssa this is for u. all this and MORE happened under yours and tonys care and you guyes knew and didnt care. and yet ur still here and he isnt, how does that make sense? read more

Workers on the floor were better than good. Management seems to suffer from a turnover problem. They don't communicate well. They had problems with long term insurance. They found ways to increase price. Made promises they never kept. Don't sent your parents in with any valuables. Kept calling widow , even after family requested multiple times to stop. My husband has been @ SR for over 4 mos. I had moved him 2 other times over the last 20 months, lots of $$$ and Tons of stress. I wish I had found SR early on, it is beyond anything you could hope for your loved one. THe staff is outstanding., from management to med techs and the cook(s). make sure you get one of the choc chip cookies, addictive Super super Clean environment, lots of things to engage your loved one. open and welcoming. I have been very pleased with the quality of care and compassion my loved one with dementia has received in the time that he has been at Sierra Ridge. The place is clean and well laid out (circular in design) and safe, and the decor and ambiance are very soothing. The rooms are well organized and they strive to place compatible roommates together when it is a shared room situation. My loved one is not the most agreeable individual and even he has been happy with the arrangement. The best part is the staff - they are friendly, caring and truly in earnest about my loved one's care and treatment, and I visit often enough to see this concern and compassion extended to all the other residents as well. I don't live close, so it is very important for me to know that he is in good hands. I have been there when the social director was facilitating a word guessing-game; about 12 residents were enthusiastically playing the game and the director was so encouraging of the residents' involvement. There is a serene art room and I always see 2 or 3 residents in there drawing or coloring. My loved one's favorite thing is the courtyard which is nicely designed and very inviting on a sunny afternoon. Moving a loved one to memory care is such an emotionally-charged event; I am so grateful that I found Sierra Ridge! read more

Sierra Ridge Memory Care Auburn---- DO NOT PUT YOUR LOVED ONES AT THIS LOCATION. The management lies to you, they over medicate, there is elder abuse, they loose personal property and neglect their residents. If you have had a loved one there and experienced the same as we did PLEASE DM me. I have already contacted the Ombudsman, Dept of Social Services and the Department of Justice and started an investigation. What they are doing is completely unacceptable and I am taking the necessary steps so that any other residents there get the care they deserve. read more

Our experience at Sierra Ridge has been great. My mother resides there, & thanks to the caring staff at Sierra Ridge, she is doing well & her days are happy. She has made friends and participates in the various activities there. Danielle, the admin at Sierra Ridge, went above and beyond to make it possible for my mother to be able to remain at Sierra Ridge, even with my folks' very limited income & Dad residing in skilled nursing at another facility in Auburn. It was a very difficult road that we had to travel with my mother & her dementia. I'm very thankful that it led us to Sierra Ridge. It is a blessing that she is so well cared for, has a smile on her face & is enjoying her moments. read more

Dementia Care Advisor has been working with Sierra Ridge for quite some time. What sets them ahead of the rest is, their compassion, not only to their residents but also to the family members. They really support families through the process of watching the progression of their loved ones with dementia/Alzheimers. They truly strive to provide the best support and care to each resident. There pricing is also reasonable considering the high level of care each individual receives/requires. I love Sierra Ridge Memory Care!! We have been extremely pleased with the care my mom is receiving. The staff is very friendly and can always share detailed things about how my mom is doing. The caretakers are all precious! We have found the administration to be helpful and available whenever we need them. My mom is actually doing so much better now that she is in a structured and safe environment. Her memory evens seems to be stabilized as she doesn't have to worry about anything. There are on going activities that give the residents plenty of things to help stimulate their minds. The activities coordinator is wonderful! She sends us pictures of different activities that my mom chooses to participate in. All in all we are very happy with how well my mom is doing at Sierra Ridge. read more

Way to many very disabled residents for the amount of staff. It looks more like a poorly staffed hospital. The tour and the sell are wonderful but nothing measures up. The staff is a revolving door. They are there one day and gone the next. Sometimes I come in and see no staff at all. The administrator is invisible so is the nurse. Looking for a plan B right away. Others recommended it but maybe things have changed. Go at off hours and take a peak before admitting your family member here, if they will let you in. read more

My mother-in-law spent her final days at Sierra Ridge Memory Care, and I cannot overstate how pleased we were with the care she received. The facility itself is very nicely maintained, and everyone working there went out of their way to make her comfortable. The staff encouraged her to be as independent as possible when that was an option, especially in regards to participating in activities, and they were extremely attentive when she was no longer able to leave her room. We visited often and were particularly impressed that the administrative staff was so active in providing direct services to residents. They knew them all and treated them like family, which helped create a warm and supportive environment. I strongly recommend Sierra Ridge to anyone in need of memory care for their loved ones. read more
