The owner Roger was captured in a viral Reno video telling me, an African man, to go pick cotton, physically assaulted me and smacked my phone out of my hand, and dropped the hard R for whatever racist motive he had. This was all after requesting a repair service for my wheel that they deliberately and completely errored, then tried to shift blame. Especially my fellow POC, I warn you to go elsewhere. Lawsuit pending, including for the tire they also refused to give me back and instead pulled a years old tire out of the back that did not match my car whatsoever. This is after taking the wheel from me, starting work, then telling me there's nothing that can be done - not until I had to pull up to the location physically myself. Very unprofessional, disrespectful, and people who unfortunately guise behind a business for their ignorant and childish behavior. Just a sad group of people all around. read more

Bought my S6 with curb rash and burnt on brake dust on the factory 20s. Took it over to Roger and he evaluated it and said they could completely strip the rims and burnt black dust off. He said he's also powder coat and paint them all gloss black. In all it was 400 for the repair of all 4 and 200 for the paint. Very happy with the way they turned out. I was SHOOK by how amazing my wheels came out! I have a '99 Lexus LS400 and the wheels were probably as old as the car! I really liked this placed before. Quick, cheap, and always communicated. I took my rim here on Tuesday, January 3rd. I was told there was 7-8 people ahead of me so that it'd be done around the next day-Thursday. Thursday comes around and I get no call. So I called. I was told it'd be done today before noon. I haven't gotten one call/message. I keep calling and it says I'm calling "after hours". I went to the shop and it was closed. Very disappointed in service. Prepare to do a lot of work after you leave their place. While they did a pretty good job resurfacing the wheels on my Audi, they left a mess on the tires and on the wheels. When I asked about it, they said it will come off. Well it didn't. Several hand washes later and the purchase of 2 wheel and tire cleaning products, it now looks just OK. Sexist remarks are prevalent in the office. Maybe they thought I was just a girl who didn't know better when it comes to cars. They got that part wrong. read more

Charged over $200 and did more damage to the wheel than before they had it. Took it back to them, and they blamed the damage on an alignment, that was done PRIOR them getting the vehicle. We are part of a local group that has 6 body shops and NONE OF OUR SHOPS will ever return to Sierra Wheel Repair. The horrible quality is bad enough, but not taking responsibility and trying to damage our reputation is unforgiveable. If you need wheels repaired, look elsewhere and don't throw away your hard earned money, or if you are a shop, your reputation. read more

I bought my near-flawless Infiniti G about 2 months ago and not a single wheel had been curbed since it rolled off the lot back in 2008. So you can imagine how salty I was when I had to be the first to do so. Sierra Wheel Repair took my appointment 3 days out and finished the job in 2 hours. They did awesome, you can't tell there was ever any damage. Service was great as well, they were very straight forward and kept me posted with the work. My car had skipped the edge of the road on California Highway 20, about 10 miles outside of Grass Valley. After a debacle including 8 obstinate tow companies and the kindness of a stranger and his dog Dixie, we were able to get on the road again, on the spare. The rim was badly bent... the next day, we spent the morning in Truckee attempting to track down anyone who could fix our rim. Eventually we were sent to Roger at Sierra wheel repair. The trip along I-80 to get there was worth it. Fixing an aluminum wheel rim is no short order- but Roger did it, and he did it same day- unheard of, even at his business. We left grateful for his help and for his kindness, and haven't had a problem since. read more

If there was an option I would have not rated this place at all .Worst place in Reno Nevada for wheel repair , the boss himself told me there material they used had debris in it and caused black spots over my rims after " they sanded it down to bare metal" . They sound like they don't know what there talking about and don't care about the customer at all for $600 job I would have done it myself and probably would of came out better. One Employee in there with rotten teeth also got into a argument and threw my wheels back in my truck as if he was the boss , far from professional at all after receiving my wheels the first time I had to leave it again just to get them with black spots and left curb rashes on them and scratches the first time second time came out better but with black spots on wheels that weren't there the first time ! I have a 370z Nismo with factory Rays forged wheels that are very expensive. I lightly clipped a curb in an apartment complex which scraped the wheel pretty good and took out some small chunks. I was devastated and felt like a complete idiot. I thought it was repairable. Mill Street Tire sent me to Sierra Wheel Repair. These guys got me in the very next day, fixed it within an hour, and it looks incredible!! For just $85 it now looks like that incident never took place. Highly recommend. read more

Please DO NOT use the company. Communication is ridiculous. I took my car to Bill Pearce Collision repair. I was asking about my rims and given a referral to this company his name is Roger. I called Roger and he came right over! He gave me a price. I did not try to talk him down on it. As well as giving him 1/2 cash since my vehicle would be done while in the shop. I was very excited that my total vehicle would look brand new upon pick up. I called Roger and told his associate to meet me there so I could pay him. Upon arrival my rims were not done. I was shocked. Kim called and asked him why. He said it was a lack of communication. What? I had 3 girls in the office that heard the communication! I never received a call an apology a make it right! Horrific customer care. Don't trust this place. FYI Bill Pearce will no longer use him. The WORST customer service ever!!!! We brought 4 wheels over to get powder coated, when I picked up the tires one had a nail in it. I called to give them an opportunity to fix the issue, and was told by Travis that they do so many wheels they don't look for NAILS or SCREWS. (Interesting since you already have the tire off the rim). We also brought another set of staggered wheels and they put the wrong size tires on the wrong wheels. Maybe you should take the time to look at the tires for the sake of GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE at the time to save your valuable customer from having to go and get the tire removed again to fix the nail issue. These guys are awesome! Hit a boulder at Mt Rose and bent the hell out the forged rim on my Fiat 500 Abarth. Called late Saturday; Roger was booked out till Weds. Explained I needed to get back to Carlsbad on Sunday. He said "come on down". He moved me to the head of the line, wheel was fixed in 1 1/2 hours for a very reasonable price. I had two bent rims after hitting a pothole or something on the freeway exit and the tire stores wanted $600 to $800 for new rims.
