I was so impressed with Stephan's fantastic thorough cleaning at my Moraga offices, that I set up a cleaning at our home, two weeks later. Stephan was gracious and appreciative. Again, not even an attempt to upsell for pre-spotting, "deep" cleaning, or a quibble about the number of rooms, or their shape or size. I showed him the three room we had to clean, two of which were pretty large, and he did the best most thorough patient steam cleaning ever. He even pushed through a couple of doorways to throw in a bonus entry area, which was so great of him. We suffered serious stains due to a flooded corner of the family room during our recent 100-year rains in February. They were really stubborn and I had tried getting them out with Folex and another bad cleaner (stay away from "Formula 409 Carpet Cleaner!), with no luck. Stephan used his own professional cleaning compound and the stains are gone! Most services would finish the job in 30 minutes and be gone. Siggy's work so steady and hard, for more than an hour, and our carpets were spotless. I'm writing this review almost 1 week later, and that typical gray look that returns after a lesser cleaning job never showed up. Our carpets look almost like new. And as a bonus, Stephan moved our King bed around to do an extra thorough job in the master bedroom. Awesome. After 25 years of using truck-mounted steam cleaning services, Siggy's is far and away the best we've ever used. No sharp marketing. No wasted man power, just efficient super friendly down-to-earth service. So refreshing today! read more

Was very disappointed with Siggy's. On the upside, arrived on time to clean upholstered couch. On the downside, cleaning guy was not that nice, didn't spend much time on the job and the results were poor. For $150 I would expect to see a difference in my admittedly grimy but good quality sofa. read more

I've used Siggy's carpet cleaning services 3 times so far in the last year and have been very pleased every time. The first time was due to flooding my apartment and they happen to be the only guys available on short notice. They were punctual and did a fantastic job with green non-toxic cleaning solutions. You couldn't tell there was a flood at all. The other 2 times were routine cleanings to pick up stains from cat vomits, toddler finger paints and routine high traffic dirt walking in and out of my apartment. Each time the cleaning looked fantastic, even better than when we originally moved in. I especially like the fact they provide a non-toxic solution to carpet cleaning. read more

GREAT company. They showed up when promised. Did carpets and upholstery the first day, and my carpets have NEVER looked so good! Not crunchy and weird like after being cleaned by another large chain with funny commercials. They felt clean and natural. Today I had my tile floors in the kitchen cleaned. I had to leave while he was still working (Chris, the owner - an unbelievably nice guy who really knows his stuff). When I came home, I couldn't believe how amazing my floors - and GROUT - looked! We used Siggy's again in May 2015. This time WE were the renters since we moved out during the aforementioned remodel of our house. Yep, as renters we messed up other people's carpet. Our dog was not kind to a solid almost white natural mohair berber type loop carpet. Who puts that color and type in a rental? The previous tenant was adverse to anything not completely natural and had no dogs or kids. If you have dogs and kids you go with whatever works, despite 'natural'. Priorities change. Hey, I did not use paper towels before kids and tried going with cloth diapers when I first had kids but then I found that, well, some one else could save the planet while I raised the kids and kept my sanity. No, I'd never have a white carpet. Anyway, we needed to clean it for the next family and I called Siggy's. Great results for the carpet and professional scheduling and service. These guys were great when our cat peed on our sofa. I thought we would have to replace the sofa since the damn cat managed to pee all the way down into the wood frame. Chris came out within half an hour of my call and steam cleaned both top and bottom of the frame. Since the cushions were not salvageable, he told me where I could go to get the same size foam cut nearby, which will save a lot of money over the Room & Board replacement cost. I will be calling Siggy's again for my carpet and upholstery cleaning going forward. So nice to have a good local shop for this. read more

I called Siggy's because they are a local business and I wanted to support a local business. I left a message and was called back in the late afternoon by the owner. She said they could come out on a Saturday. I let her know we only needed one room she said ok and hung up. Saturday came and the guy came and cleaned the carpet in our living room and a very small hallway. He was very nice. Then he gave us the invoice for 100.00. I had a coupon for 3 rooms for 100.00. So I called on Monday again a late afternoon call back from the unfriendly owner and said Oh he should have told you that the 100.00 is our minimum. Well I do not think he should have told me that because you need to move things to get the carpet cleaned I would think you would like for that to be done before you get there, she should have on the first call. Although my carpet is clean I just did not like how it was handled. read more

Imagine going away for four days, then returning home to find out the pet service had mistakenly left your large dog locked INSIDE during the day. Eeeeeek! The berber carpet in our family room and living room was covered in pee spots. The smell was awful. I called Siggy's to come out. Super friendly and professional, he cleaned our carpets, but said it was possible that since the urine had been soaking in for a while, the cleaning might not totally fix it the first time. Huge improvement, but a couple of days later we could still smell a bit of pet pee in the carpet. I called Siggy's back to say we needed a second trip and asked, worried, how much it would cost for a second visit to completely eliminate the problem. And they said..."FREE!" Wow! And the second trip did the trick. I was soooooooo relieved and delighted. read more

I'm sorry to have to write this but I do so with the hope it spares someone else from making a costly and frustrating mistake. After receiving poor quality carpet cleaning from our last appointment with Siggy's, I reached out to to them via the email listed on their website to see if they would remedy the situation. Never heard back. Emailed again and was told they would come back and take a look at the area of concern. When that date and time arrived not only did they not show up, they never called to say they were running late or to cancel. After waiting a bit I called to ask where they were and was told Chris was at another appointment and would be an hour late. I was given the option to wait longer or reschedule. I chose neither. I scheduled my afternoon to be available for this appointment. Their utter disregard for my time, lack of communication, along with the poor quality cleaning leads me to this...beware when hiring this service! read more

I love the feel of new, clean carpet every time that we have them come and clean our carpets. The price is great and it dries really quick.
