On July 14, my church took its first bus trip to see Joshua at Sight & Sound, and what an incredible experience it was. The play was heartwarming, powerful, and deeply spiritual. The cast was absolutely phenomenal, and every scene brought the story of Joshua to life in such an inspiring way. One of the things I appreciated most was the altar call at the end. If you needed prayer, wanted someone to talk to, or felt led to give your life to Christ, the Sight & Sound staff was there with open hearts and open arms. I think that's such a beautiful ministry and a powerful reminder that it's about more than just a performance--it's about sharing the hope of Jesus. I also want to recognize everyone behind the scenes. To the set designers, thank you for creating breathtaking scenes that truly immersed us in the story. To the production team, your lighting, sound, and special effects were outstanding and helped make every moment unforgettable. So much work happens behind the scenes that many people never see, and it certainly doesn't go unnoticed. A special thank you to the animal handlers and trainers as well. I know working with animals isn't easy, but they did an amazing job and everything flowed so smoothly. Thank you, Sight & Sound, for an unforgettable experience and for your commitment to bringing the Bible to life in such a meaningful way. I'm grateful my church chose this trip, and I can't wait to come back again. I came to the show, Joshua, from out of town in Nebraska. I have been to site and sound in Branson, Missouri, and this was the exact same experience! The show is incredible, from the acting, to the voices, to the costumes, to the set, it is literally breathtaking! I was mesmerized the whole time, as was the rest of the audience. A great opportunity to see Biblical stories played out life like in a high quality production. You can definitely see they spent money updating special effects over the years and the scenes are getting more complex. We saw Joshua and the giants were really cool and they made it seem like we're were inside the walls of Jericho as the came rumbling down on the seventh day of marching. It's always interesting to see how they incorporate the live animals into the story. The bathrooms are always clean and lines move surprisingly fast for so many people in attendance at the theater. My first time here and I am looking forward to returning for another show. This amazing theater seats 2,000 people and sells out! The size of the stage is really astounding and the wings are used as well. The shows are bible based, but anyone could enjoy the spectacle and appreciate the talented, both acting and singing. They use live animals and both the actors and animals come off and on the stage via ramps. We saw "Joshua" and the show was amazing. They utilize the aisle as part of the stage too! We saw Moses here in 2014 and Noah this year. Wow, absolutely amazing! The shows will leave you in awe and speechless at times. It was my first time experiencing this theatre earlier this year. I went with a group of friends to see NOAH. From the impressive exterior architecture, along with the fountain and the lion / lamb statue, to the gorgeous sweeping interior, I immediately fell in love with the space. First, I perused the gift shop, where I found the most adorable Noah rainbow keychain, then checked out the concessions. I grabbed some glazed almonds, which were addicting - wonderfully sweet and crunchy. I also chose a mixture of red cherry and blue raspberry icee for my drink, which was satisfyingly refreshing. After that, it was time to locate our seats. We had a lovely vantage point front and center. NOAH was such an incredible masterpiece from beginning to end. I simply fell in love with the heartfelt dialogue, impassioned singing, gorgeous set design, beautiful costumes, realistic special effects, and of course, the real animals. It was definitely awe-inspiring to see the variety of animals that was obtained, such as Camels! When the show was over, there were staff stationed by the stage to offer prayer. I requested prayer and it was such a powerful, touching moment. I'm already planning to return in order to watch all the upcoming shows. Next up is Joshua! read more

This was my third trip here today. I'm here to see Joshua. Parking is plentiful if you decide to drive yourself here. Wifey and I came with our church this day so we came by bus. Though the weather was dreary the play was illuminating. The seat are a little snug however Section 303 Row KK are dead center upstairs a perfect view of the entire stage even when the side stages are used. I've sat downstairs before but for this theatre the best seats are upstairs. Also you don't smell the animals, much less at all. There are 30 steps to reach the upper level. The elevator has a limit of 6 people and we were told it's not very fast. Rest area located upstairs as well as downstairs and it was very clean. They have a concession stand which is reasonably priced the big seller and push are the candied almonds for $5.99, though the lobby is very crowded due to people trying to get pics in front of posters/ exhibits that's playing at the time it can be a lot. It's also a good way to see some of the stories of the Bible come to life. So if you've never been treated yourself to a trip to Sight and Sound. read more

Very nice theater. We came here to see Noah. Parking area is huge. We had no trouble parking but do get here early as they get very busy. Outside the theater there are some areas for pictures. There is a gift shop and snack shop inside. We got some of the warm nuts to snack on and frankly they were less than fresh so that was a bummer. We did not purchase anything in the gift shop but they had some cute items especially for kids. The theater itself was nice and I was just amazed at how they made the whole thing look like an ark and the animals were the cutest. If you have an opportunity to go, do it!! read more

The show we saw was "Joshua" in March of 2026. I found the show to be the best I've ever seen. Effects were exceptional, sound was crystal clear, lighting was amazing. Live animals were used throughout the show which added to the reality. The staff were excellent, I use a walker and they helped me get into my seat, safely stored my walker and showed my wife where she could come get it after the show. I can't give them more than 5 stars or I would. read more

Joshua was an amazing show. Amazing actors with top notch singing. Set design will blow you away. You really don't usually get this level of quality outside major theaters. I have been to multiple shows here over the last few years, but this one is the best so far. The musical numbers and soloists for this production were phenomenal. The theater set up us great for seniors and those with mobility issues. Adequate restrooms for the crowd size. They have a very smooth arrangement for parking direction with people in the parking lots. Plenty of staff are milling about to keep the crowd moving. Ushers are extremely efficient. We watched David a week ago in the Branson, MO location. It was so good. We were excited to come see Joshua. But we're very disappointed. David followed Scripture so well - which revealed you can have artistic license and still follow Scripture. Joshua did not follow Scripture. It got the 3 big events right, but the telling of the story was not based on the Biblical account. We had to correct multiple areas with our daughter after the show. I am all for the redemption and mercy character of God being told, but God told Scripture like he told Scripture. We don't need to add to it to make it a better story. Additionally, the music quality wasn't as powerful as David, the staging wasn't as good, the script... I've only been to these 2 Sight and Sound plays. David was so so good and my husband and I wanted to put seeing Sight and Sound plays on our regular calendar to visit bi-annually, but after seeing Joshua, we have our doubts. I love Jesus and want the gospel shared! But if you are you to tell Bible stories, stay true to the story. There could have been so many elements of Joshua's life to bring out that were not. We drove from California to see both Sight and Sound plays (Mo and PA) and the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum. Those are really good by the way! Absolutely amazing time at this theater, which will blow your senses away! Much better than expected, just make sure you get there 20 minutes early. The first bit of very important information is that once the show starts they really do close the doors. They actually bring live animals down the aisles so you can't like be walking in to go to your seat. It would be safety hazard. If you ask someone at the desk that someone in your party is going to be a few minutes late do not expect any sympathy. They'll even tell you that they may not even be able to enter until after the whole first act. Which isn't true, I saw several families get seated five or 10 minutes into the show after the opening sequence, which did involve bringing live animals down the aisles. But just give yourself a break and get there a half hour or 20 minutes early to avoid all of this mess. And you wouldn't want to miss the beginning of the show anyway. I saw Daniel there and it was mind-boggling! I can't believe the length at what the actors go through to sing and perform! They pour every ounce of strength into their roles. The passion is amazing! Ezekiel, of course, was my favorite, but so many of the other actors were truly fantastic! There will be scenes acted out of course on the main stage in front of you but also on the walls on either left or right side which are also massive set pieces. I would recommend orchestra and the reason why is you'll be in the middle of all of the action, including the animals and actors walking down the aisles and acting taking place on your left and right side as well as the main stage Extremely highly recommended please take your family and friends as soon as you can! Don't miss the show Daniel. And next year, I hear they're doing Noah's Ark, which I will be back for. The best in entertainment not to be missed!!! read more

What an amazing experience. This was my first time to this theatre. It was ran well. I came with a party of over 150 and we were ushered in a timely fashion. The play was amazing and it was so cool seeing the animals and also travel down memory lane. I was reminded of some scenes from the Bible and even learned some new aspects. Came here to see Daniel last night. It was such a magical experience. The staff was nice, and the production was top notch. There was ample parking, and I was amazed at the size of the restroom! One slight complain: I really think the theater should work with the town police to help direct traffic at show's end. The traffic light for left turn would only allow several cars to go through. The main road was absolutely quite. The entire parking lot was so backed up that it would take forever for people to leave. Will definitely come back again to see another show. read more

We traveled with a large church group (100 strong) to watch this year's featured play, DANIEL. The theater grounds and facilities are splendidly well maintained and opulent in a biblical themed motif. The play, which was four years in the making touched on the more well-known themes of the Bible story. Well loved by kids and adults alike. read more

We came here to watch Daniel. The theatre was filled to capacity but the staff was relatively friendly. The bathroom was clean. What made me gave this place five stars is the production. The sound was amazing, and the special effects were high tech. This rivals any Broadway production. I've been here in the past and they just keep getting better. Wonderful! The effects enhance both the show and your experience. Food at the snack stand is very good. They serve Nathan's hotdogs which I like so a quick bite before the show begins is very doable. My wife was transfixed by the show and found it very enjoyable and moving. The 225 degree presentation makes every seat feel immersed in the action. The leads rival any found in the New York theater district. Their voices are magnificent. The supporting cast is immense and greatly add to the story. All in all considering the facility and the play itself this is my favorite venue. We will continue to plan an annual visit. read more

Sight and Sound has a lot to offer and I was impressed by their customer service and the closeness with which they follow the Scriptures. We saw Daniel this month, and the special effects, live animals, and wonderfully written script are are a great time for all ages alike, even children. They have concessions and a gift shop which can be a bit pricey, think movie theater prices, but a great place to stop during intermission. They have a huge theater with comfortable seats that seat hundreds, and wheelchair seating/ADA compliance. I highly recommend! Prices are around $80. read more

Music, acting, dress, scenery, all very well done. The gospel message is always shared, which is important.
