Barked at my wife like she was a kid. This was the store manager. Not customer friendly.

If you're older: the machine that helps determine your prescription is waaaay easier than it used to be - I felt like I went to a wizard! And when it came time to select some glasses (frames and options) the young woman working the counter asked a few questions and literally walked me to the pair I ended up getting - first try, I don't even need to see any others. These guys are legit. For as long as I live in Pensacola I will be exclusively using them. Can't recommend enough for my old folks who haven't enjoyed previous optometrist appointments. 10/10 will be back

The staff knows of my phobia and they do everything they can to make the visit as pleasant as possible. Scheduling with Dr Gerhard is simple and she is just perfect. She goes well above and out of her way to make me comfortable and ease the tensions. The staff is a delight also. Tory has helped be pick out the perfect frames year after year. My insurance is kind of limiting as to selection, so she searches for frames that will fit my face and orders them in for me to try on. Basically I just tell her to make me look nice and she never disappoints! 4 years in a row I have nothing bad to say whatsoever and will never consider going elsewhere! Way to go!

They asked if we wanted to do some kind of imaging test, which was an additional amount, which was marketed to us as a more in depth way of viewing the eyes instead of dilation. We opted for that but after the test, they said she needed to dilate her eyes. Felt mislead. Went to a different location and didn't have any issues but went back this past June and not happy. My daughter's vision changed .by .75, to which they charged us an additional $139 because of something that her vision wasn't a normal situation. Dr. Gerhard never mentioned anything during the exam but we found out when paying. The two employees couldn't give a good reason as to why and I said I wasn't going to pay. We were already paying for the glasses and contact lens exams. Not understanding why the strenght in vison changing is a reason to charge an extra fee and why nothing was told to us until checking out. Dr. Gerhard went to lunch so never got explanation, just a bill in the mail. Don't recommend at all.

It was impossible to clean them! Next thing I knew there were a million scratches on them! Mine and my wifes sunglasses only lasted two years before mine broke three times and my wifes tint started coming off of hers. I paid a total of around $750 cash for 4 pair's. Never again!

WORST SERVICE EVER. Brought my husband in for an annual eye exam. He's an active duty family…read moremember, one eye exam annually is covered by Tricare. He hasn't had one since 2020. The lady who brought him back to the exam room apparently does not understand how Tricare works and wanted to argue with me and say my husband is not covered. That I needed to "enroll him", which is not required. So I have to research the information for her, show her screenshots just to get my husband seen. And while I was trying to do that, they took other patients in his place. We had to wait over an hour past his original appointment time. Then the same lady had the receptionist CALL TRICARE to confirm what I had already told them. He had to take time off work for this exam, we had both our kids with us, it was a hot mess. His original exam time was 4 pm, then they were unable to get through to Tricare because *hello* it's now 5:30 pm. Needless to say, we did not get seen. I DO NOT recommend this place. Not military friendly whatsoever, which is sad considering this city has a huge military presence.

Dr Corredor, OR with Terrezza's office compared my photos of my eyes that they had just taken & then compared them to last years. That's when he immediately said "this doesn't look right to me". Dr Corredor, OD immediately referred me to Retina Specialty Institute. Because of the severity of my right eye, they got me in in less than 30 minutes. He took care of me so well. So I then arrived to Retina Specialty Institute statute. I waited less than 10 minutes before they called me back. According to Dr Ahmet Ozkok, MD, It turned out that my right eyes's retina had torn/detached in a horse shoe type pattern. I believe he said it was 80% detached. He immediately did a type of laser procedure. He made sure to add numbing drops first. And when I cried, he would stop and calm me down. I cried because apparently I'm just a baby! He has a wonderful bedside manner. I may be older - but I was still so scared. He gave me very specific instructions and the staff stayed late because of my procedure. Everyone was so very nice & patient with me. Dr Oscar Corredor, OD (Terrezza's Optical) and Dr Ahmet Ozkok MD (Retina Specialty Institute) saved my vision. Because this happened late on a Friday afternoon. Had they not cared about me - I would have ended up in emergency surgery over the weekend. I love both these doctors and I know you will too. I trust them both with not just my vision but with my life. The reason I'm including both doctors is because they worked in tandem to save my vision which is why I'm posting both reviews with both doctors.

I had ordered a pair of prescription Ray-Ban sunglassses on Oct. 20th and they were supposed to arrive two weeks later (Nov. 3rd) for an epic road trip to the desert southwest. They did not arrive, so I had to drive 2,500 miles without sunglasses. On Wednesday (Nov. 5th) they called and advised that my glasses were ready for pickup. I returned today, but they could not find them. Turns out, they forgot to tint them! WHO BUYS UNTINTED RAY-BANS? So they had to send them back to the lab. Every single pair of glasses I've ordered through Terrezza have been wrong! On one occasion, an optical staff member forgot to include the prism, a critical oversight when that's part of the prescription! Every other time, it been a screw-up by the lab, also owned by Dr. Gene Terrezza. Several weeks ago, I took my wife to pick up her new RX glasses...guess what? No prism on her new lenses either! I CAN NO LONGER RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS! Take your business to a place that values Quality Control (QC), because Gene Terrezza obviously has lost sight of that valuable commodity.
