Great hole in the wall. Salad and burgers were very good. Ate here 1-2 times a week over the summer and loved it.

Not fried too hard but perfectly crispy. Would definitely order these again. I had the cesaer salad. Hell yes! The anchovies were big and gave it the right amount of saltiness. The roman was perfectly covered in dressing. I'll definitely order that again. Scraped the plate lol. For my main I ordered the 6oz filet (medium well), the lobster tail, and the lobster mac n cheese. Here's where things get a little sticky... The filet was immaculate. Cooked just as I asked, flavorful, and tender. You don't even need any sauce. It's good as is. I should have gotten some just to try and see if it would enhance my tastebuds even more. The lobster tail tasted like cleaning products. As if someone had wiped down the counter than sat my lobster tail on the same counter before cooking. I had to sent it back after the first bite. Couldn't risk it. The truffle lobster mac n cheese has no truffle and no cheese. It's soup based, meaning creamy but not cheesy. Can't be cheesy since there's 0 cheese in it. Just noodles and cream. The lobster meat is minced and minimal. You can't even tell it's in there. And the flavor was trash. Don't waste your money ordering that. Parking was in a parking garage. Not free and idk if they validate since not one staff member mentioned it (if they do).

The tater tots and sweet potato gnocchi were absolutely incredible, and honestly, every dish we tried was memorable. The Brussels sprouts and mac and cheese are also standouts. If you're going with a group, sharing plates is definitely the move so you can try a little bit of everything. And if it's your first time visiting, the fried chicken is a must. To finish, get the banana pudding. Trust me. Our server, Sebastian (we've had him twice now), was amazing both times.. attentive, personable, and always on top of anything we needed. The atmosphere ties it all together: dim lighting, cozy vibes, and the perfect spot to settle in for elevated comfort food. A charlotte staple

This was such a disappointment. found this place on tik tok and the found was absolutely horrible…read more I ordered the haber dish with a chicken thigh , macaroni and cheese"dressed greens" the chicken here is 70% fried breading and 30% stringy, unflavored chicken. the mac and cheese was decent! the dressed greens were literally cut off ends of romaine, dont waste your time. We also shared green beans and Brussel sprouts . the green beans were charred on the outside and undercooked ok the inside. The brussel sprouts were cooked to a crisp and lacked flavor. My boyfriend had the OG chicken sandwich and he couldnt finish/ stomach it, this includes the burned fries that were served with it. The restaurant itself is nice, I don't think their AC was working but its got a cool rustic look. Our server was kind and attentive as well. Maybe they had an off day but this was a pretty big waste of a $60+ meal.

But I wiggled my vehicle into a tight spot and went in for a burger and a beer. I believe there were about 10 to 12 options available on tap, and I went with what was listed as an Irish stout from somewhere in the Northeast. It wasn't bad, though it seemed more like an imperial stout. My sandwich choice was the Cowboy, with ground elk at its core. It was a good choice too, and the accompanying fried onions and melted cheese complemented the meat well. I ordered the burger medium, but I think I'd go for medium rare if I could go back in time. The medium option wasn't bad, but I think a little less heat and a little more moisture would only make things better. I kept things simple with the side item, going for the fries which were of the thinly sliced McDonald's variety, not bad but nothing remarkable. The server covering my table was pleasant and prompt, though soft spoken so I occasionally had to ask her to repeat herself amidst the music and noise. I wouldn't call any of these selections a bargain, but the prices didn't veer too far from what you'll find in many burger joints. All in all, not an earthshaking experience, but a place I'd be willing to go back to. 3.5 stars.

We started with the pickled board, and it was just fun. A little bit of everything: pickled veggies, cucumbers with those pretty curls of onion, pimento cheese, bread, pork rinds, a little tomato jam. It felt like a Southern snack platter put together by someone who actually cares about balance and flavor. I ordered the pickled salad with chicken, and it was right up my alley. Fresh greens, great textures, pops of color, and the chicken was nicely seasoned and grilled. The dressing had that bright, tart thing going on that makes you want more of it. I would absolutely get this again. My husband got the Cassie salad, and while he said it was "fine," even he admitted everything was fresh and well done. The vibe here is relaxed, cozy, a little rustic, the kind of place that feels local in the best way. For a casual lunch in Boone, it hits the spot. I'd go back in a heartbeat.

This is a nice restaurant situated in a little old single-story house that faces onto an inner courtyard in the old part of Huntersville. Breakfast, lunch, and a full bar pretty much can take care of whatever you're looking for. The main dining room is furnished with an eclectic assortment of mismatched chairs and tables, but it all seems to work. There is also a short bar for those eating alone. Kids are welcome, and they even have a box of toys for kids to amuse themselves with while others dine. Everyone in our group had some kind of breakfast offering ... and they offered some really creative choices. Service was on point, and everything came out together and hot. The only misstep was the lack of onion on one order. Coffee was hearty. They have a lot of outdoor seating in back facing the courtyard, and even some in the front yard: these outdoor arears effectively double the seating capacity of the restaurant, and both are totally dependent on the weather. We wouldn't hesitate to return. Recommended.
