The retractable post that holds up the trailer has a pin in the post that gets in the way of fully lowering down onto the hitch. I called Ryan who books the trailers, told him of the issue, sent a picture and he starts telling me to try one of the other trailers, but each is configured the same way. The instructions sent by Roadmoto the day before had nothing about a needed minimum height for the hitch ball in order to be able to use their trailer. I drove an hour to pick up the trailer, couldn't use it. They had already taken $200 deposit and $875 for the week I had booked. I obviously couldn't use the trailer/service, their instructions were not accurate, they wasted half my day and when I asked for a reimbursement they said, "its against our policy to reimburse". I am now fighting the charges with my credit card company. Roadmoto is not an ethical business and they cannot be trusted, they waste your time and try to steal your money.

The truck literally STOPPED MOVING IN THE MIDDLE OF THE STREET. I have never been more disappointed in an establishment. I have received at least 3 calls from this business soliciting graphic design services that were so bizarre, I was almost certain it was a prank. The caller (joe hale?) had an adversarial tone throughout and seemed far less interested in defining a scope of work that he was looking for rather than launching into open-ended tirades lambasting graphic designers as a trade and a meandering catalog of grievances. he had an odd habit of asking a question and then immediately going into long-winded screeds precluding the ability to answer them. the first time I must have let him do this for upwards of 20 minutes before I explained I had a client waiting on me (which was true) at which point he became extremely angry before hanging up on me. In each call, I tried to isolate what exactly the caller was looking for in terms of services in the attempt to hopefully build a quote to practically no avail. (the closest i got mentioned something about "labels" but i was unable to get him to pull any focus beyond that). on all three occasions that he called, he hung up on me mid-sentence. on at least 2 of the calls - his hanging up revolved around my answers to his question regarding our company's deposit policy. on at least one of the 3 phone calls, he became outwardly hostile towards the notion of the suggestion of having to pay the industry standard deposit before work could begin. judging from reports in these reviews of him stiffing someone who actually made it as far as creating product for him - it's a reminder why deposits need to be charged in the first place. To be completely honest - I was a little surprised to google the number and discover that it actually belonged to a working business. my assumption from the experience of my calls was that this was someone with untreated mental health issues bored and alone somewhere. i cant believe someone with this level of acumen is somehow still in business on any level. After today's call - i actually blocked his number. I suggest others do the same and help spread the word around the freelance and design community.

I made my reservation by phone From the Penske website and went to Home Depot Signal Hill. The rate and mileage rate was the lowest I got an AAA Discount. I needed to keep the truck one more day. and I was charged only $39 more. 48 hours 16 feet truck 60 miles full insurance Just $200. The best deal. The truck was well maintained. It had a few scratches but the guy noted them. So far I have rented from Penske 2 times after a bad experience with U-haul. Both Penske experiences were great.

The clerk tried to sell me the extra bundle I said no but low and behold days later I find it was put on my card for a total of $267.00 - they even tried to charge me $14.00 a gallon for the gas which is like $50-$60 depending on the price that day which was $4.31. Penske won't supply me with the register contact which was for $159.00. Capital One won't show me the transactions time stamp. I know what I bought and this was not it. The clerk with his bs excuse he can't give me a receipt yet Cap One only charged me $159.00 that day and then added the $106.02 a few days later and when I disputed it - they then doctored the original order!!! Now Cap One said that I have to give them the proof but how if they didn't email me at the time of sale or any time after till 8/28 with the phony documents and didn't have a working printer - sounds like a same smells like a scam is a scam.
