I went in on Wednesday because I broke a molar in half eating a gummy bear Tuesday night. I needed an emergency root canal and he got me in right away. When I got there Dr. Modi said since I was in pain he could take me back and start giving me something for pain and doing my x rays while my husband filled out my forms. He did the root canal on my molar and I felt 100x better that day. He said I needed another root canal and said I could come back Monday. Today is Monday and I showed up for my appointment. He fixed all my front teeth and gave me my smile back. Here are before and after pictures. Then after the numbing shots wore off I noticed a piece of my tooth was rubbing a bit of my lip raw. I called and Dr. Modi told me to come right in. I left my house and within 20 mins I was back on my couch watching television. I have never had such a fast and responsive dentist before. I took my mom in for an emergency tooth removal. After looking into different dentists I came across dr Modi and reviews seemed great I called, and the staff was good they were able to take me in the same day. Thought everything went great but she was in excruciating pain for 2+ weeks which didn't seem normal. We got a hold of Dr and all he said was that it was "normal" and that she was just "overly sensitive". We went and got a second a opinion elsewhere and we were told Dr Modi extracted the tooth completely wrong causing pain on the teeth near it which was completely unnecessary (her tooth was small and he was able to pull it straight down but instead he pulled it sideways hurting the teeth in front). He seemed in a rush and very money hungry focusing on other work needed and wanting to book a future appointment as my mom was in a lot of pain. Definitely will not be going back!!!!! read more

I found this practice by accident. I consulted a local dentist for long overdue dental work, and some of what I needed was beyond their expertise and needed a endodontist. I'm private pay, so I started with google. One of the first practices that came up was this one. I filled out the form on their site, figuring a front office person would call or message me in a few days. The dentist called me on his phone, a few hours later! I was invited to come in the next morning, which I did. I expected a consultation, possible plan, and price. He gave me a decent price, and said "we can do it right now". I got two root canals, two fillings, and two crowns, in about 2 1/2 hrs. I've had minimal pain, and got my permanent crowns today, and they are beautiful. I'm thankful, because my referring dentist said the one tooth was not salvageable and the second was 50/50 at best. read more

He gets the work done if u don't have any dental insurance and if you have Any emergency takes you in . The bad thing about this place is that it is dirty as soon as you enter the place the floor is dirty the doors etc. last time I came which was like 2 months ago looked exactly the same as if no one cleans it. read more

I am extremely picky whom I go to, after some research, I found doctor modi's office and reviews. Well; I had a dental emergency and decided to give his office a call. With zero hesitation, they saw me immediately!!! When I say, immediately it was within 30 minutes. I was greeted as soon as I walked-in, and taken back for X-rays within seconds. They allowed my husband to handle all paper work and insurance information while they got to work on me. Dr. Modi was incredibly helpful and honestly; gave me hope. He's honestly the best dentist in the valley. His staff were very sweet and his assistant held my hand while I was freaking out about the shots for numbing. Everyone was very welcoming and helpful!! I went to Dr. Modi at Signature Dental several years ago. To be exact it was in June of 2015. It has been around three years. The appointment was for bonding I needed on a tooth. The bonding had fallen off that tooth. The tooth also had a cavity. Don't go to Dr. Modi for any dental work. Dr. Modi does very sloppy dental work. I ended up getting a cleaning. Dr. Modi did the cleaning. Dr. Modi cleaned around the tooth that had a cavity. It was just a small stunt of a tooth. After I left Dr. Modi's office I was in excruciating pain. The worst pain I've had in my life. Since then I have been terrified of any dentist. I know this sounds extreme but it is a fact. I have been on multiple antibiotics perscriptions since the appointment. Seven to be exact. I now have two infected teeth. The teeth need to be extracted. The negative reviews about Dr. Modi are totally honest and true. Please DO NOT go to Dr. Modi at Signature Dental at 1633 East Hatch Road, Modesto, Ca. After being in pain for over a month I went into to see Dr. Modi today. In all honesty I was skeptical because of bad reviews others have left. Plus I've previously work in a dental office so I have high expectations. How ever my husband and brother in law have been to see Dr. Modi and they both like the care and service he provided and he relieved them from the pain they where having. As for myself I am very happy with the service and care Dr.Modi gave me today. I instantly felt relief and the pain was gone once he extracted my tooth. I'll be going back to get more of my dental work done in two weeks. My only regret is not coming in sooner. The staff is also very friendly and nice. HORRIBLE!!!! He will take as much money as he can get from you. I had to have a partial. Four of my front left teeth had to be pulled. He said he would give me some gas so I could be more comfortable. The mask was broken and No GOOD. He ruined my front gum to where my partial don't fit right and pulled a extra tooth that was not filled in when the partial was made. He charged me $2000 just for the partial. Worst place I have ever been!!! This place is so unprofessional. It's filthy and the work is terrible!!! I paid $300outta pocket plus the $ he got from my insurance!!!! My tooth he "fixed" is worse than it was when I went in!! It's turning black!!! Amazing. I called Friday evening around 6 with horrible tooth pain. Medicine wasn't helping with the pain. I thought it was my wisdom teeth for the longest time. But I just couldn't handle the pain anymore that night. Luckily Doctor agreed to see me first thing Saturday morning at 8am. He ended up doing a root canal the same morning!! I feel so much better. This is the worst experience that I have ever had with a dentist! The place is very unhygienic with water on the ground and the floor looks filthy! Unfortunately this dentist lacks compassion and does not know how to work patients. I received 3 very poor teeth fillings, an unnecessary excessive amount of X-rays and my husband received light teeth cleaning along with a crown all for the price of $800 out of pocket after my insurance's coverage!!! A friend took his wife here for a root canal because her dentist only filled the tooth as a quick fix and she was still in pain. Went to two other dentists who said she needed a root canal. She's not insured yet so I called around for prices. Signature was the cheapest for the initial exam. Dr. Modi explained our options for payment and was willing to work with us. It was clear he wanted our business and seems to care about his patients. I'm glad he was persistent as all the infection from my wife's tooth came bursting out when he did the root canal. I went to signature dental after having a terrible root canal job at another place. My tooth ended up having to be removed. Dr.Modi had told me if I felt any pain during the procedure to raise my hand. He started off by injecting me and then he began the procedure. During the beginning of the removal he was watching T.V and that made me nervous and upset so asked for the t.v. to be shut off. He broke my tooth before removing and i raised me hand several times because the pain was excruciating and it was ignored. Before getting my tooth removed, Dr. Modi told me that the fillings that were done at the previous dentists office were not sealed properly and had to be redone. So he had redone all of my fillings and paid close to $800. When I went to another dentist to get a cleaning and check up, I was informed that all my 'redone' fillings by Dr. Modi were done incorrectly and they need to be redone once again because they were coming off. The new dentist told me that instead of Dr. Modi removing the old fillings and filling them, he just filled over them. I would never recommend anyone to go to this office!
