We went to Home Depot last Saturday hoping to buy a patio furniture set we had seen online. The online info wasn't clear and I wanted my husband to see and sit on it before spending so much money.(close to $1000) we met the manager, Troy, who was very knowledgeable, we thought, and seemed interested in helping us. We chose a set, he suggested we apply for a credit card and save $100 on the set. We did just that and within 10 minutes were approved and purchased the set. We asked for assembly of the set and delivery of the set, which the website had said was free. We paid and left being told it would be delivered on Monday! My husband made arrangements to be home for the delivery which was given to us as an 8 hour window. They showed up Monday at our apartment building with two large boxes and nothing assembled.my husband called Troy to find out why it wasn't assembled, and Troy did not recall us or our order made less than 48 hours prior. After a lengthy conversation which was not very respectful on his part, we sent the set back to the store and requested assembly and redelivery. Today, (Friday) with no warning, we were received photos from our apartment manager of our furniture sitting out by the street in front of our building. !!!!!!! We could not believe they had unloaded and left the furniture outside by the road, no notice, not even coming into the lobby or calling us. My husband raced home from work over 30 minutes away and had to move all the furniture, couch, 2 swivel recliners and a table up the stairs, into the building and onto the elevator... up to our d as apartment and out to the patio. We are not young. This was not an easy task. Do not order, do not get a credit card giving the person who signed you up bonus points and boys checks while they don't remember you at all and deny placing an order for you. Don't pay for delivery that includes nothing more than setting $1000 worth of furniture on a city sidewalk for anyone to damage or take. Don't expect anything as far as customer service from this store. I am so angry at the week we have had from Home Depot's mistakes and rudeness. read more

I've never been more upset with a hardware store in my life. Went there looking to spend a thousand dollars on upgrading my business lights to led flat panel lights. However I had no idea what switches I needed. The internet never works in that store and couldn't search for it. The app was useless, I went to customer service and they had no idea and I stood in the aisle for over 30 minutes looking for help. Finally found a worker and asked for help. He had the nerve to tell me "you're second in line I have to help this other guy first"! The guy had walked in just a few minutes before!! I had been waiting over 30 minutes!!!!! I was at Home Depot in Crescent Springs, Ky. to pick up mulch. Troy from gardening not only helped me load up the cart but he also put the mulch in my car for me! He is a wonderful asset to HomeDepot. Chrystine at check out was also very friendly and helpful. We were returning a rental truck and the petty attitude and comments were ridiculous. We looked to be around the same age and to be treated that way and talked down to was unacceptable. I would not recommend using this store for deliveries. We had a contractor install a patio. The pavers and setting gravel was delivered from this store. After the installation there were about 20-30 leftover bags, 50lbs. each. We were told by Home Depot that someone from the store would come to re-wrap the skids so a delivery driver could pick them up and return to the store for a refund. It took 3 1/2 weeks. The store manager eventually told me that I had to load 20-30 50 lb. bags into my car and make multiple trips before our contractor could get his refund. We called the Glenway store for help and they got it done. The unopened, unused product was picked up but the Crestview store refused to issue a refund for the returned product until myself and the contractor made multiple complaints. The manager that we spoke to at Crestview was rude and gave us information that other Home Depot stores said was false. All the while he was throwing the drivers who kept coming out to try to pick up the skids under the bus. Terrible service from this manager. read more

Every yearI I get potting soil delivered to my patio from Home Depot. I paid 8.99 to get it delivered to the patio. The delivery person came and put it in front of the garaage door. I explained to him the reason I have it delivered is because I cannot lift it. I ask him to please take it to the patio. He was rude but starting moving the bags to the patio. I went into the house only to find out he put two bags on the patio and left the three bags in front of the garage. I tried to call the store and gave up after sitting on hold 45 minutes. I had to call a neighbor to move them so I could get out of my garage. Poor customer service. I will shop at Lowes from now on. read more

Two words, tool rental. This location has it and it's the only reason my husband and I come here. The customer service has been awesome whenever we've had to rent a large tool like a cement mixer or garden tiller. The selection is okay. It seems like the garden tool and the paint supply sections are a bit subpar. Along with their garden center; not much to offer there. But it could be that I'm not used to this particular store. Prices are fair and sometimes a little cheaper on certain things than other stores. read more

Whoever helped me at the key making station (around 2:45pm 12/18/2020) needs to get taken off the floor where they don't have to deal with female customers or customers in general. The minute I walked into the store this older gentleman was rude to me from the get go! I walked in to make key copies & The guy just stares at me the whole time when I was picking out keys that I needed to make. I didn't realize that employees were the only ones that were allowed to use the key maker (I didn't see the "employees only" sign on the machine I was just trying to get in and out) so Then when I asked him if he could help me he gave me an attitude the entire time because I couldn't figure out how to do it and he says "I GUESS I can help you but it says employee right there" and I said "oh I didn't see that I'm sorry! And he says, "You're not sorry, you just didn't see it" and after that basically implied that I was dumb. He was awful to deal with and I was 5 seconds away from just leaving what keys he had made for me and not paying for them and just going to Lowe's. I didn't do anything to deserve the attitude he was giving me and I rarely complain nor do I ever go to Home Depot unless it's to get keys made. Eventually I got fed up and started getting snarky with him, because he says, "I guess it's easy to get these keys mixed up" talking about me apparently giving him the wrong key to make (which I didn't) and I said, "No, not really I have them marked for this reason" he just huffs and puffs with a "Yeah ok" ... at the end of this shitty interaction I still said thank you and went to check out. I'm sure he wouldn't have acted this way towards me if my husband was with me. I didn't get a name because I was too focused on getting out of there but my friend works at this location and said his name might be David. But looks like he's the supervisor, so someone needs to demote him or atleast keep him away from female customers because he's an ass and thinks he's King of Home Depot! Hi I'm Tyler and I have a problem. I decided that I needed to fuel a plant addiction even more by popping by the garden center this week. On a Wednesday evening the store was moderately busy, but most people seemed to be wearing masks. The plants in the garden section looked mostly healthy. It does feel like staff could take just a little more time tending to the plants (pulling dead leaves, etc.). There were plenty of staff also working the registers outside which was nice since I didn't need to go inside. I've come to enjoy trips to Home Depot way more than I ever thought I would, it's always fun to find something to help with a new project. On this occasion, I even needed help finding something. The gentleman who helped me quickly rattled off the aisle number without missing a beat. I'll definitely be back soon, I'm sure! read more

Lack of employees on the sales floor during peak sales hours and check lanes open when needed. Really poor customer service after the sale

I ordered a dishwasher and new counter tops. It's the last purchase I will ever make at Home Depot. They delivered two (2) broken dishwashers and installed one. Claimed I had downed power lines on the initial delivery after they tried to say they called to no answer and knocked on the door, not realizing I have a Ring doorbell. I should've ended it there but 3 trips later they've delivered 2 broken dishwashers. This is only my second ever bad review on any site and honestly I wish I could write more. Worse example of customer service I've ever experienced. If you're still on the fence about shopping here, know that the last broken delivery was considered "High Profile Order" due to the other issues I had. Again, pay a little more and go to true professionals otherwise you will waste a lot of time and nothing to show for it. Also when I asked for my old dishwasher back, they said it was destroyed immediately. When we moved to the area, we found this Home Depot before any Lowe's store in the area, so we selected a gas grill and refrigerator for our new condo here. Not a huge fan of Home Depot in the past, this transaction sealed the deal. We had hoped to have both items delivered at once, but of course that wasn't possible...the refrigerator would be delivered according to the Maytag, not Home Depot, schedule. So, when we find out the delivery charge for the grill, we decide to reserve one of the HD trucks, rented by the hour. The Saturday a.m. all this took place there was one employee working the tool and truck rental area. Major problem with wait time. A guy behind us in the line said there are usually two employees working this area on a busy Sat. a.m. Finally got the truck and other problems ensued. No ramp to roll the grill up into the truck bed, no rope to secure the grill. Entire debacle was a test of our patience. Like we hadn't already had a stressful morning, when we got the grill home and were rushing to get the truck back before being charged another hour, we saw a kid run into a car (the side, at least) on Fairfield Ave. in Bellevue! We called 911, the kid ended up being fine, just scared. read more

After two months of waiting, unreturned phone calls, poor communication ( in not one but two Home Depot locations), and two install appointments later we finally have a storm door installed on our home. I have always used Home Depot for all my house and lawn care needs but after this last purchase I am not sure I will be back. This all started in late February when we went to Home Depot to purchase a storm door. We were told to place a deposit down and someone would call us and be by in the next week to measure. We never got a call. We called the store back and were told that we had to be home and had to receive the call to set up a measurement time. When we went to the store to inquire why we had to be home for a storm door measurement we were told that they had put us in for a whole new front door install not just a storm door and that they would get this changed and no one had to be home to get the door measured. So we wait another week to get the door measured, then we are told that we have to wait another two weeks for install... this brings us up to a month of trying to buy a door. The day of the install comes, appointment was set from 3-4. I get a phone call at 9am that morning from the contractor saying he is on his way to my home and will be there at 10am. I then asked him why he was so early since we were scheduled at 3-4pm. He then told me that I was incorrect and that he had set me up for 1pm and his earlier appointment canceled and he was coming to my place. Luckily I my boss is VERY flexible and allowed me to go home and finish my work day from there so that I could meet the installer. They arrive and put up the door, as me to sign a waver - note that as I was working I had not even seen the install yet - and then quickly left. When I had a moment to walk away from my work I was shocked to find that the door was installed backwards, with the handle opposite our door handle. At this point I had to call the store yet again and tell them then install was done wrong. I was told they would look into it and get back to me. When they returned my call the next day they informed me that they contractor told them I asked for the door to be installed this way... and that I told him I wanted my appointment moved to refused to let him come at the earlier time, both of which was false. It then took me an additional 3 days of back an forth phone calls to get another contractor set up to come out and fix the door. Today we finally have the new door installed, on time and correct. The contractor was very kind and helpful. He also pointed out that the previous install in addition to being backwards, was missing screws, AND he had moved the location of our doorbell on the doorframe without telling us. At this point I am just happy that we have the door installed correctly... but I am shocked but how difficult this whole process was and the actions and behavior of those I interacted with during it. read more

This review is specifically for the appliance department and an employee named Carol. My husband and I went to purchase some new kitchen appliances and had some questions/concerns because the doors to our kitchen are small, so we can only get certain appliances- Carol was a wonder woman. She thoroughly researched what was available for us and helped us make decisions and was super friendly and funny....upon delivery....which, timing wise, was a fiasco before they even arrived at our house, once they finally arrived to deliver, the measurements were off and we could not fit the fridge into the kitchen...so back to Home Depot-where again, we got Carol. She was apologetic and took charge and was bound & determined to fix the problem-in talking to the delivery people on the phone, she ran into some resistance about returning the fridge that didn't fit-fees, etc....Carol was having none of it and kept at it until our new fridge was ordered and the old fridge was returned/exchanged in a timely manner, without any new charges. She made our experience, which could have been hard, easy and refreshing. Carol was adorable and lovely. read more

I was expecting my refrigerator to be delivered today. I purchased it in September. I live in an apartment. The delivery guy called to say he was here and I unlocked the door with the remote. The driver then took off. I contacted the delivery depot in Hamilton and they told me I had to talk to the manager at Crescent Springs. I talked to several people who tried to be helpful until I was connected to Mia in appliances. Mia couldn't have made it more clear that she didn't give a damn. Whatever I said she just kept repeating that they would reschedule my delivery for Friday. She is an abysmal employee and I will never use Home Depot again because of her. read more

We are over there probably 4 times a week hunting for things for the house, Picking up a plant, or We're looking for something in particular that we need. I admit that 1 of my big concerns is customer service and if customer service is poor then I'm not likely to continue to shop at a certain place. People at home depot have always been very helpful to me and assisted me in making decisions about appliances and products and have even told me about upcoming sales so I could save money. When we were doing some major home renovation one of the staff signed me up as a contractor so that I could buy many big ticket items and save money. I have been to this Home Depot location countless times for both personal and work reasons. Not only are the aisles always clean and organized but the outstanding customer service is second to none. Tonight for example: I was working on my truck out in this -3 degree weather and realized I didn't have a tool I needed to accomplish my task. Sure enough I got to Home Depot 15 minutes before the store closed. However, having been in there plenty of times I knew exactly where to go to get what I needed, but I unfortunately was on the complete opposite side of the store. The only reason I mention that part is because I literally had five separate employees individually ask me with a smile on their face how my night was going and if I needed help finding anything. Lets be honest, you don't find many retail stores who's employees will act that way at any hour of the day much less 15 minutes before they get to go home for the night. I have plenty of stories about how friendly and helpful there employees are but I felt this specific one was necessary to share. A recent visit today to the HOME DEPOT at 500 Clock Tower Way store number 2324 in Crescent Springs Kentucky revealed that there are people representing the store that doesn't have a clue concerning what the business is doing or they are just plain lost and getting paid to be there. Telling the employee that we had filled out a consultation form on line and gave here the consultation confirmation number she proceeded to ignore all that was presented to her. We were told that the 30% off Labor Day Sale concerning the installation of Kitchen Cabinets and counter tops ended today 9/3/2020 and all payment was due on 9/3/2020. The ad clearly stated that the sale ended 9/5/2020. The young lady PR at extension 427 (Kitchen & Bath Department) clearly misled us to believe that we were not going to be able to get the renovation that we desired. The employee did not enter the correct billing address for my credit card and informed me that the system Home Depot used will not allow a change to the correct billing address. I have been shopping at Home Depot for years by phone, online and in person and I do not understand why this employee handled our business the way she did other than the fact that she did not want a sale to a minority person who could afford to make the purchase or she was just plain under trained or stupid. I will continue to shop at Home Depot but not at store number 2324 located at 500 Clock Tower Way, Crescent Springs Kentucky 41071. PR clearly misled us giving us totally incorrect information and prevented the sale. Is it protocol for employees to write credit card information on paper before they enter the information into the system the store is using? Please provide proper training to this employee!!! This Home Depot I used to always go to because of location. Over the past year and I go to garden center/hardware store every other week if not every I have seen a decline in every area. Also I feel like everytime I go I have to track someone down for help or go get someone called. There selection doesn't compare to florence or lowes in florence. I tried returning something today with reciept and the girl didn't know what to do. I asked to speak to a manager waited for over ten minutes and no one was available. I finally walked. I work in a Japanese Machine shop and I am in constant need of parts from this store to build robots. I go to this store on an almost daily basis and there is a manager at this store who is phenomenal. The employees are generally helpful but she is really awesome. She sports a cowboy hat, knows where everything in the store is and will take the time out of her day to give the undivided attention I may need. She is a very positive person and has a great energy. If I see her I know that she will present herself to me if I even look in her direction. It's always a nice "Hello, is there anything I can help you with?", even though she is a manager! I had to fix a privacy fence in my back yard and was doing the job with my neighbor, o.k so he really did the job and I tagged along. I did get to use a circular saw! It was empowering no wonder men love their tools. lol The staff at Home Depot are very knowledgable and helpful. We walked in and were asked if we needed help of course we accepted. They walked us through ever drill bit, latch and gate we needed. I now have a new dog with a secured back yard thanks to Home Depot and my neighbor. read more

Standard Home Depot which in all of our experiences has had sufficient and organized inventory. Store overall is clean and adequately staffed. A good portion of the employees seem to be high school or college students in the area, which is positive as the staff are generally energized and willing to help. Location is favorable as well with good hours even during the week, although an extra hour would make it ideal. Biggest negative in our experience would be dealing with management/customer service. We had an issue during the delivery & installation of a fridge. When working with one of the managers on a resolution (who I believe was named Ant), he was consistently unhelpful and rude throughout the process, and ultimately ended up blowing us off-saying that if we left a number that he would call which he never did. Will be back to the store in the future but recommend avoiding delivery and especially installation service offerings if possible. Also, worth avoiding Ant and any other management team members if possible-best to get in, get your items, and move along. read more

This will be a second review with no response from Home Depot. I was actually offered 1009$ dollars as a settlement from freight rite shipping company. This doesn't even cover the material for the repairs that need to be done from the damage caused to my home by these people If you value your money DO NOT shop at the Home Depot especially the crescent springs location here's my original review. I did get a follow up but no one has responded to that as well. As of today with repairs and lost wages with receiving the offer I am out my pocket roughly 6000$. All for purchasing appliances from their store. I will have to file a lawsuit and bring in the local news to make aware of what they are doing to people. This is sad and pathetic. Apparently a lawsuit is the only one at I will be getting my money back. Here's what happened So about three months ago we purchased new appliances from Home Depot. (Bigmistake). We were told that the delivery people (freight right) would be there between four and 8 o'clock with a half-hour notice. I did make arrangements to be at my house at 4 o'clock. The delivery people showed up 30 minutes early with no call ahead notice. They knocked on the door and Shelley let them in to take a look around. Immediately without any notification or authorization started ripping our appliances out of the wall and taking them out of the house. She told him that they would be wanted the appliances brought through the back door because I knew that they would fit that way. She repeatedly asked them to stop and wait for me to get home because I was on my way home and Wood be there in 10 to 15 minutes, they did not. they choose to rip the front door off the hinges and drag the appliances through the front stairwell damaging every piece of wood work railing banister drywall and trim on the way. I arrived home at 3:59 PM to find a path of distruction from where their delivery people brought our appliances through the house. When I confronted the delivery people over what had happened I was immediately met with pushback resistance and a smart mouth from one of the delivery guys. I proceeded to tell him to get out of my house immediately where one of the two delivery drivers made a gun symbol in my face pull the trigger and proceeded to tell me that he was going to F me and my family up. At this point I had to physically remove this guy from my house in immediately called the Fort Mitchell Police Department. Three police officer showed up which since they were not there to witness could not really do anything about it other than file a police report. S and b were literally hiding in the back bedroom scared to death. Now obviously these people now know where we live they have my address and they have threatened or lives. After everything was settled and these guys were gone we're left with around $3000 in damage to our home. When addressing this with Home Depot they denied all responsibility offered no resolution whatsoever and showed zero compassion And denied all responsibility to the shipping company. I did not hire the shipping company I hired Home Depot to perform a service so for my $4000 purchase I ended up with damaged appliances and $3000 of damage to my home not to mention we had to purchase a security system and now S is scared to death in her own home when she is home during the day. This is been three months ago until this date not one dollar has been reimbursed for damages. I filed several Better Business Bureau claims on Home Depot where they responded with lies and incorrect information stating that they were working to resolve the issue. I have been in contact with the shipping company and they only plan on reimbursing part of the damages to my house. I strongly strongly urge anyone on here to not make a large purchase from Home Depot. We have been treated with disrespect, rudeness and not at any point has anyone for either of these companies taking this serious whatsoever. Well I assure you it is very serious if these people know where I live and have threatened our lives. Not at any point should you ever order appliances and have three police officer show up at your house because of it. Now I know most of you probably won't even read this whole message but if you do please share this and please do not invest any money into the Crescent Springs Home Depot location. You have no idea what you will get an who or what type of criminals are going to show up at your house to deliver furniture. To this day I am out of my pocket roughly $1500 and I have extensive damage to my home.
