Disappointing experience. They were short on waitstaff because our food was cold by the time it arrived at our table. We ordered dosas and were surprised about the stale quality. The restaurant layout was poor and possibly a fire hazard. We have been here many previous visits with very good experience and were very disappointed with everything today. This place is SOOO GOOD! I would never have thought of a corn appetizer but this was amazing and we get it every time now! Both shrimp appetizers are amazing as a matter of fact my last time there just a few days ago we made a meal of the appetizers! Truly the only downside was that it was freezing when we came in but they had heaters running so guessing the heat was broken? They made do and had things in place to make it okay. The food is good and the people are nice enough but the place seemed a little disorganized when I drove over to pick up an online order. Despite placing an order in advance, it was ready 45 minutes later than the scheduled time. This is definitely my favorite Indian spot in the area. This place always delivers exactly the flavors I'm craving. I love the chicken tiki masala and the shahi paneer medium spice level. An awesome place in Bloomington. The place got busy on a Sunday afternoon. I tried their lunch buffet and boy it did not disappoint. There were a lot of items, ranging from Samosas, chicken tandoori, Biryani, goat curry, chicken, fish and some veggie options as well. Tried most of the items and they were good and had a good flavor as well. I would highly recommend giving this place a visit. The staff are friendly and polite too. The buffet was a bit avoided $20 so be mindful about it. read more

Adarsh was an absolute pleasure to work with when discussing our catering order and provide some great recommendations as far the types and quantities of food we needed based on the number of attendees we were expecting. The quote he provided us on pricing was very fair as well. On our wedding day, Adarsh and his team showed up on time with plenty of staff and quickly got to work in preparing and plating the food. We ordered a goat curry, okra curry, a side of garlic naan, the fried chicken appetizer, and a mango lassi. Not only was everything delicious, but between the two of us we were stuffed full and still had enough for lunches the next day! The goat curry tasted like it was stewed for days. The meat was tender and the fats and bones added an incredible savoriness to the curry. The okra curry was a delightful surprise. I didn't know such a thing existed. It was also super hearty and rich for a vegetarian dish. The fried chicken appetizer (name was long, but it was the non spicy one) was SO good and there was SO much. Served with a spritz of fresh lime, it had a sharp tandoori flavor that sunk into juicy chicken. The slices of onion served as an excellent pallet cleanser. The naan was so fresh! Beats the frozen stuff any day. Absolutely perfect. And finally the mango lassi was the brightest shade of orange I've ever seen. It was smooth, sweet, creamy, and perfect. We have been going to this place since it opened. The food quality, service and ambiance is excellent. The place adheres to high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. They have expanded the menu a lot ever since they opened. The buffet is a good place for any newbie to try Indian food. They have special buffets during Indian festivals. The best thing is the owner is a very nice, proactive and customer friendly and so are his staff. During Covid they are serving via drive thru windows. Again i would say this has not affected their quality or service. We have also ordered their newly added dishes like pomphret, afghani biryani, hyderabadi street briyani. They are yummy as usual. This place is very homey, very warm, and is definitely a family oriented restaurant which is amazing, but oh my. The line was 9 cars long and it took around 15 minutes no joke per car. When we got to the window the man said it would be 5 minutes and told us to pull to the front of the store. After about 15 mins sitting in the front I went inside to check up on my order, only to be met with a busy dining area and a busy staff. I stood for another 15ish minutes before I was addressed, and then it took 20 mins for someone to check on me. Have dined in here a few times recently and it's been overall enjoyable. The food portions are large and I feel like the prices are reasonable especially compared to some other Indian restaurants in town. The only downside is that inside the restaurant, it is a small seating and area and it gets very hot and stuffy in the restaurant. The service can be somewhat slow at times( need to ask for things like extra sauces multiple times, or one dish takes significantly longer to come out than everything else). Overall those are relatively minor inconveniences. We do enjoy the food and it is tasty. read more

You can request to have a dish mild or as spicy as it can get! The portions are perfect. Such a variety of dishes that I wasn't expecting since they don't eat beef or pork. Now the bread is like a very thick tortilla. Made fresh. I love it! Delivery is within an hour after ordering. No issues with missing items either. This place is a regular for us now. Yummm the prices are average for the amount you get. Ranging from $12 to $18 per entrée. The indoor eating is somewhat shut down still. Everyone has just ordered to be picked up or delivered. We had the Medium Spicy Goat Curry and the popular Creamy Chicken Curry under the owner's recommendations. Both of them tasted delicious! Although the Goat Curry is way more savory and the Chicken Curry is creamy and milky. We also had the Fried Naan and another appetizer from the picture. They all tasted pretty good but not so great compared to our entrees. Also the service! The owner constantly checked on us to make sure that everything is good. Very friendly staff and ambiance. First time having Indian food out here in Bloomington, and not a bad experience. We ordered the gobi (cauliflower) manchurian which was nice and crispy on the outside and still tender on the inside (i'm a sucker for anything manchurian). We also ordered the butter chicken (hubby's favorite) which was good, but I felt could have used a bit more heat. We were supposed to have gotten a goat dum biriyani but got the goat fry biriyani instead, which wasn't bad but not what we ordered. The food doesn't take a long time to come out but long enough that we didnt want to bother with correcting the order. We both liked the bullet naan which is stuffed with cilantro and green chili - the only thing is that it was not spicy at all, which i wanted. Always out of Naan or curry or plates or cutlery or something or other in buffet and then they take 30mins to get the house in order, so the person is not hungry by then.
