The lady who did my feet did not do them well at all. I got white nail polish with the 55 dollar foot spa. she barely rubbed my feet and did not take her time. This place is the absolute worst, they yell at their customers, don't give you what you what you want, do a super crappy job, don't honor reservations, cut you, yell at you when you question what they are doing to you, and then try to gaslight you...I have tried to make this place work given it's the only salon in the ML area, but they can't treat people so poorly and expect people to put up with it. The guy who "runs" the place obviously enjoys bullying women...and the board of health should inspect this place, I question if they EVER sanitize their tools/drills...doesn't even deserve a single star...they shouldn't be allowed to be in business if they are going to be abusive to their customers (and their employees) read more

I've always loved my service here at this salon. I haven't been back in a year or more until today and I'm still leaving a very happy customer. They have an amazing selection of colors and always a stellar job. I even got a small gift from them today as a Christmas gift! That's the extra touches that keep customers coming back. I have given this place many chances and let me tell you that attitude reflects leadership!! The man in the front with the birth mark on his face is the rudest. I sat in there, getting my nails done and listened to him talk to a customer like an absolute dog bullying a poor older lady. And Olivia is so rude she may have the ability to do a good job on your nails but believe me, she will treat you like you are not even human while she works on your nails. You'll be lucky if she speaks to you and then she will expect a big tip from you after she treats you with disrespect. And yes, they will sit there and speak in their own language most likely about and make smart remarks which is obvious by their tone, and then they all laugh! They are a more expensive than most other nail salons that I've been to, won't do a good job for you. Be careful getting long nails here. They don't "warranty" Them. After 4 days my nail clean popped off. I went in to have them put a new one on. After all it's only been 4 days. Visited this location and received a pedicure along with SNS dip powder for my nails. Pedicure was mediocre I was not impressed at all toes nails were all different lengths I got the deluxe pedicure with gel($51) The lady doing my toes wasn't very nice and didn't listen to my requests. She completely ruined my toe nail shape and length. My nails came out nice though. I love them and have gotten so many compliments. I'll be back for my nails not too sure about my toes. read more

I normally do not like leaving a bad review! But in this incident, I am! I took my granddaughter here to get her nails done. As I am sitting on the bench, I observe my granddaughter and the nail techs interaction with each other. The nail techs grabs the color nail chart out of my granddaughters hand, and during her procedure being done, I witness rudeness by the nail tech to my granddaughter. I keep my mouth shut, so I do not embarrass my granddaughter. Yet, what I witness next just appalled me. An elderly lady came in using her cane, the way she was treated was disrespectful! No compassion or kindness was exhibit from the staff. She was told to sit - which was next to my granddaughter! Nobody waited on her. After sitting awhile she gets up and tells me she will come back another day. I ask what she was going to get done! Just a manicure and my nails painted, we talk a little bit more and she leaves. My hurt hurt for her, and at the same time I was getting mad - at the disrespect the salon showed this elderly lady and the interaction the nail tech was having with my granddaughter. read more

I come here all the time and have always got my nails done and more recently have only been getting my nails done by Ann who works there. I have moved to Buford Georgia and so the only time I really get my nails done is when I come home to visit family. I've never had a bad experience or bad nails till now. I don't know her name but the lady who did my nails did a terrible job. She started to do my nails without asking me what I wanted to do with them at all and I wanted French tips , that's all I wanted. After she had finished shaping her nails to HER liking she then asked me what I wanted to do and I then told her French tips. She then yelled at me and told me why didn't I tell her from the beginning because then she could have used the powder , which would just charge me more for her to mess up my nails anyways. The whole time she seemed mad that she had to even touch my nails and it was just a very unpleasant experience this time around. I have tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt but they are horrible. I went in for a fill and chrome polish. First made my acrylic to thick! So my nails are lumpy at the top and in ransom spots throughout my nails. Then she put the wrong color on my nails and tried to convince me it was the same color I had just showed her. She only put one coat of the chrome polish on so my color looks weird. Then she didn't finish so I left with my nails still "sticky" and had to turn around and go BACK! They just wiped my nails down from the "extra" gel she left on them and that was it. I feel like I just wasted $50 and I'm pissed!! I started getting my nails done again about a year ago. I first tried a few other places in the area and always left very unhappy. I had been to Signature Nails years before and they always did a good job, so I went back. I am always very pleased with their work! I get SNS every 2 weeks and a gel pedi every 3-4 weeks, so I'm definitely a regular. I have never been unhappy at all. One time, my SNS was really cracking (it's one particular brand that seems to be the issue) and I fully expected to pay since they were a week old. I chose a different color and the only thing that they charged me for the complete new set was a $15 "color change". My faves for SNS are Andy, Ann or Tan. They all do a great job. I'm not sure why there are negative reviews, it may have been ppl who are no longer there but I have always been very pleased and my nails look great! read more

Icing on cake though...price card indicated $23 for pedicure. They charged me (inexplicably) $25. When I inquired they simply said it was "because I was a guy". My husband was letting me get my nails done for Mother's Day this year. Ive been needing it for a while so i was really looking forward to it. I've been here a couple times & usually had good treatment. Today was horrible. The pedicure woman was young (22) & very Americanized. She started out nice & very talkative. Asking how old i am, where I'm from, etc. Then when i mentioned i had a baby it went downhill. She said i should've waited until i was atleast 27 so i could live my life. She went on to say more rude things like why don't i have a job, why don't i get somebody young to babysit my daughter for $5-$7 an hour while i work, if i felt bad for making my fiancé support us, etc. While she was doing all this talking she was also butchering my feet. Using the scrubber on top of my feet (pics below), filing my toenails so much they hurt, making my water scolding hot. She then explains she's in a hurry because she has to go pick up contacts in Dallas. Rubs my lotion in (no massage), throw some nail polish on & sends me to the dryer. Before i even turned the dryer on she came over asking for the money because she had to go. I pay her & give a $1 tip hoping she got the message. I talk to the manager who wasn't very apologetic & he gives me an $11 giftcard for next time there will be no next time!!! Michael does a good job, and you won't wait very long at this salon because they have a lot of chairs and employees. However, my sister paid for SNS with tips and did not receive tips. I got a gel manicure and she did not go down to my cuticles so by mid day next week they will appear grown out. We were still charged full price for the sns with tips although we didn't receive that service. read more

This place is the worst nail salon I have ever been to. They are way to expensive. I have been to them three times. I wanted to be fair in my review. The first time was on date night night and we both had our feet done. We had to wait 45 minutes and the chairs are old and very uncomfortable. It cost us almost two hundred for two pedicures. Crazy! The second time I went to get a full I have heard that gel nails are better for you so that was my request. This time I waited over an hour. If you must go here DO NOT let one of the men touch your nail. He filed my nails down so much they started hurting. I had to tell him that was enough. My nails are not super thick but not really thin either. My nails hurt and where sensitive for about two days. And it cost me close to $60. The third time I had to wait over an hour again they even took 3 people who came in after me. I asked for gel fill in this time and the man kept asking me if I had gel to begin with. Yes and I want gel this time to. Then he asked it they used a brush last time I said no it was the power dip gel stuff. Long story short he started on my nails and I made sure to say "don't file my nails much" which he didn't but I then noticed he was using acrylic anyway. After I requested gel at least 3 times. I asked him- isn't this acrylic you are using? No no no it gel it gel like you say. So I wanted until my hands were drying and looked at the containers he used and they both were acrylic. He lied right to my face and ignored what I wanted. At that point I didn't want to even be in that place anymore I got up and paid the $34 for gel ( more than a acrylic) and left no tip. I will not go back and I recommend no one else go here either. I have never been to a worse nail place. Horrible horrible horrible place. I thought they would be good because they are always busy. Too bad I didn't think about doing a review after I got my service a few weeks ago. There is a tech named Tou who was criticizing her coworker for doing a good job an a lady's feet. She told her she didn't have to use a buffer and that she was spending too much time to do the job. Tou used an emery board instead of buffing, told her customer that using white polish on her toes first then using the color on top would be better. She actually covered all of the areas she needed to work on. You know when you get home you can really see the mistakes. It was my mom and you could see the white polish coming from underneath her toenails. She was more concerned with taking less time, than she was with the integrity of her work. Gel polish piled on thick to hide what she failed to do. Mom gave her a tip too... because at first you can only see the top. My mom is a senior and after waiting for the pedicure, they decided to do her nails first, then had the pedicure. It was very crowded that day. I don't think the manager was there. I came here for the 2nd time about 2 days ago and had a TERRIBLE experience. i requested my nails to be coffin shape and pretty long white acrylic. pretty basic and simple to do. when i was met with the woman who was doing my nails i showed her a reference picture of what i wanted and asked her to follow exactly that. she asks me the length of my nails and i told her and once she begins to put the powder on one of my nails, my nail was crooked and she wanted to tell me it was my own finger that went that way, which let me assure you it was definitely NOT my finger. after asking her more than once to redo it she finally obliged. she then proceeds to continue to file and shape all of my nails and they were complete different lengths, not one was equal to the other and it looked terrible! before she even begins to buff and finish filing, i tell her i am not pleased with them nicely and i asked her to please re do them or fix them in some matter. she not only yelled at me in the salon infront of all of the customers telling me she was not going to fix or redo them and if she did i would have to pay double! i was pissed. i told her i was not going to pay double because she hadn't even finished the set she was doing and that i was still in the salon. she then picks up all of her equipment, leaves my nails half done and goes to work on someone else without any explanation. once my toes were done i went and spoke to whoever seemed to be running the place and she redid my nails for me. no one apologized to me not once and i was not given any kind of refund after being there for almost 4 hours . i will NOT be returning here. i did not appreciate being yelled at. i found myself apologizing to the employees for being such a nuisance instead of getting an apology and no one seemed to mind. i have never had any service this bad. although the lady who did my toes was very kind and did an excellent job, the other woman just made my overall experience awful. I DO NOT RECOMMEND, aria nails on 61 infront of mcchevron in dallas does a MUCH better job and the service there is spectacular. i will never stoop down to getting my nails done at a different place then where i am comfortable again. read more

I made an appointment yesterday afternoon for today, because I know how busy this place can get. When I showed up today, I was gestured to a pedicure chair without being asked why I was there or what I needed, but I signed in at the front desk and marked that I had an appointment before sitting down. Once seated, I sat for 40 minutes. During that time, the only person who spoke to me was the lady next to me. She had been waiting for almost an hour without any help and was debating leaving. She didn't have an appointment, so I continued to wait after she left, hoping that would not be me. About 35 minutes after I sat down, another woman was gestured to the seat next to me. Less than 5 minutes later, a technician said hello to her and began setting up her chair for a pedicure. Meanwhile, no one had stopped to speak to me at all and didn't even give me a color swatch to begin choosing my colors. I put on my shoes and left, because I couldn't wait any longer due to my daughter's taekwondo class later that afternoon. I decided to call the salon to let them know why I had left, and the man who answered argued with me for 5 minutes that I didn't have an appointment. I had to explain that I did have an appointment, that someone most not have written it down, and that even if I did not have an appointment, someone should have tried to assist me before working on the woman who had just sat down. He continued to argue that I didn't have an appointment and that no one knew I was there for an appointment. I tried to explain that I wrote on the sign-in sheet that I had an appointment, and that someone should have checked that and then checked in with me if they had questions. Regardless, someone should have attempted to help me before helping the lady who had only walked in 5 minutes prior to being assisted. Terrible customer service. Please don't argue with a customer about how she didn't have an appointment (essentially calling her a liar) and then ignore every other concern/complaint she has. read more

I just moved to the area and wanted to find a new salon that had SNS nails. My first visit was ok but the place was crowded and noisy, not like my old salon that was calm and relaxing, but Tim did an ok job. Two of my nails popped off after a week and a half. I returned and thought I would give it a second go. Once again the environment was chaos, crowded and noisy. I told the lady greeting me I needed dip nails. She seated me at a station. I asked for the colors so I could select a new one. She stated she would be right back and never returned. 4 more ladies entered the salon after me. One of them was immediately seated with someone and another immediately given the colors for the SNS nails (wow what about me). After about 30 min of waiting a lady came up to me with a bowl of solution so I could start soaking then proceeded to seat another customer (who came in after me) at her station and start work. So after soaking 15 min naturally my nails were clean and the worker in the station next to me who had now started working on another of the 4 ladies that entered after me told me in 5 min someone would be with me. I waited. After 1 hour I stood up and told a worker I was leaving - naturally they all started talking widely but no one said they would start on me. Why would they all they other ladies that entered after me were in the middle of their session. Good Grief. So if you want a crowded, noisy, dirty salon that will not take care of you the by all means to to Signature Nails. If you want a real salon keep looking. read more
