I went in a little skeptical but decided to trust the yelp and google reviews. Tiya took one look at my back and asked me where on earth I was going for massages because my back was pretty messed up lol (thats a whole another story). If you are on the fence about coming here, do it! Tiya instinctively knows what she is doing and how to help you with a host of issues, not just your back. I'm so happy to have found her because she's the first person who's ever been able to pinpoint and loosen all my knots.

For this area, it's hard to find a legit place because of all of the "spas" in the area (if you get my jist). Tiya knows what she's doing. She's very in tune w the human body and works tirelessly to work out the kinks, or as she calls them "trigger points". I will caution that she is not for the faint of heart. She has a strong touch and will get into those knots. If you're looking for someone to lightly massage your body, keep looking. But If you're looking for someone to help relieve all the aches and pains youve been dealing with and that have been affecting your quality of life, Tiya is your woman!!

Got a one hour deep tissue massage which consisted of strong pressure as expected, along with fast movements almost the entire time. My masseuse, Cindy, was working hard with all of the rapid movement, so much that she was out of breath with this unique approach. Some may consider it rough, but my muscles can take a beating so I was fine with it even with a little pain in the process. I particularly enjoyed the leg and foot massage which focused on the outer leg and pressure points on the foot. It was effective for me. The face hole on the massage bed was slightly uncomfortable, and the temperature in the room was a bit cold with the AC running strong on a not-so-hot day, but I hung in there. I liked the music playing in the background, a combination of classical tunes and instrumental renditions of songs like Hallelujah and Ghost by Justin Bieber. Paying at the end via credit card, with a cash tip, was straightforward without any problems.

The massage itself was mediocre and nothing special, but the check-out experience was what ruined…read moreit completely. When I paid for my 90-minute massage ($150) and handed the therapist a $20 cash tip, she visibly sighed and aggressively demanded that I tip her more. She even pressured me to put an additional tip on my credit card, completely ignoring their own "cash tips only" sign. Tipping should reflect the quality of the service, and a $20 tip on a subpar massage is more than fair. Shaming and cornering customers at the front desk for more money is incredibly unprofessional. I felt manipulated and stressed right after a relaxation treatment. Will not be returning.

I had a very disappointing and stressful experience with the front desk person at this office…read more The issue started with poor communication around billing. I was initially told that my copay would be $30 for Dr. Helen and $20 for Dr. Deanne, and that my insurance had been checked. About a month later, I found out through my insurance that I was actually responsible for 30% of the bill. When I brought this up, the front desk person first denied saying that, and later offered to settle the account based on the $30 copay amount. However, there was no apology or clear explanation for the confusion. We had also discussed that the 4/30 bill would be handled later once I received the insurance check, since my card had already been charged the full $150 for that visit. Yesterday, when I tried to bring this up again, the front desk person would not let me explain and kept insisting that my bills had already been taken care of. She also said she does not handle billing, but did not clearly explain who does or who I should contact. What made the experience worse was the attitude. When I tried to understand who handles billing, bookings, and patient communication, she responded defensively and said, "Oh, now you are saying I don't do anything," which was not what I said. I was simply trying to understand who was responsible for what, especially since she had said she does not handle billing or appointments for all doctors. The most upsetting part was being personally insulted and called a "sad person who makes other people sad." That is completely inappropriate in any service environment, especially in a healthcare or wellness practice where patients come for care and support. This was not the first time she referred to me as a "sad person," and it felt dismissive and disrespectful, especially as someone coming in with severe shoulder pain and trying to resolve basic billing and appointment issues. The communication around appointments was also frustrating. When I switched to Dr. Deanne and asked how to book with her, I was told to check online with no clear guidance. After asking again, I was eventually sent a link by text, but only after being told, "I don't handle her appointments." Yesterday, I checked in and sat in the doctor's office for several minutes, but the doctor was not informed. I had to go back and ask twice, and the front desk person clearly seemed upset about it. The last two months of dealing with this front desk experience have been extremely frustrating. Patients deserve clear communication, patience, and basic respect when trying to resolve billing and appointment issues especially when it's caused by the provider . Overall, this experience fell far short of the level of professionalism and respect patients deserve

AMAZING CARE - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!…read more I began visiting Thriving Chiropractic about 4 months into an awful battle with frozen shoulder. At that point, I'd already been doing physical therapy for several months, as well as having a steroid injection. I wanted to "throw the kitchen sink" at the shoulder to help recover as quickly as I could. Thriving Chiropractic offered me both chiropractic care with Dr. Helen and acupuncture with Dr. Christina. I took one appointment each week with both, in addition to my physical therapy visits twice a week. Dr. Helen and Dr. Christina were both excellent in helping speed my recovery! After "just 7 months" (which is exceptionally fast in the land of frozen shoulders where 1 year to 2 years is more typical) I've recovered 95-100% of my shoulder range of motion and I'm on track as I work towards patiently recovering my strength. I want to give extra praise to Dr. Helen for doing an incredible job understanding and assessing my condition each week, providing a range of care modalities to help my healing, and providing me "homework" to complement what I was doing with my PT. In addition, she's just a super friendly person who takes an interest in your life outside of your injury and I found her incredibly pleasant to talk to during treatment. Dr. Helen truly has an exceptional, holistic approach to care - she completely defies the stereotype of chiropractors simply "cracking joints." Every time you leave her care, you leave feeling great. Dr. Christina was also very professional and caring. I'd never had acupuncture treatment before and she was very gentle and careful to ask about my comfort during and after the treatment. Due to the nature of acupuncture (you spend a long time sitting with the needles in quiet solitude), my interactions with her were less so than with Dr. Helen. But I felt confident in her care and would go back if ever I had the need. Front office staff were always very friendly and welcoming, too. Thank you all for being so wonderful!

At the time, his business was in Campbell, and since then he's moved to Mountain View, which is now an even more convenient location. Bill is incredibly hardworking and truly in tune with his clients' needs. He knows exactly how to work the muscles to relieve pain and tension, and he's helped correct most of the issues I've had over the years. Every session is unique -- he never does the same routine twice and always tailors the massage to what your body needs that day. He's patient, attentive, and genuinely focused on making sure you leave feeling pain-free and relaxed. I've referred several friends to him, and every one of them has been just as impressed and many are now long-term clients as well. Highly recommend Bill if you're looking for an experienced, professional, and caring massage therapist.
