The visit started pretty smooth. Parking wasn't a problem and I found the place without any issues. When I walked in the receptionist greeted me and helped with paperwork quickly. I was called back in under 10 minutes. The assistant was nice and asked about my recent experiences and wrote everything down carefully. The doctor came in and gave a light introduction before asking more direct questions. They seemed knowledgable and responded clearly. They gave their perspective and pointed out a few things I hadn't thought of. I liked that they asked how I felt about the next steps rather than just telling me what to do. That small thing made the visit feel more like a conversation. The overall atmosphere was clean and not too sterile which helped. Excellent physical therapy. In the first visit she took away all the pain in my knee and I thought I would not be able to properly walk for months. I have never been to physical therapist as good as IntraHealth. She continues to improve other areas in addition to progressing my knee. She uses a multi-discipline approach. A few months ago I was hit head on after a delicious meal at Evvia. The best part is that I was just pulling off 101to get some gas, and let's just say that the car was never to be refueled again. R.I.P. My beloved little Honda Civic. This is when Intra Health entered my life... Dr. Eggert is a GODDESS! She is one of only 3 physical therapist/chiropractor's in the bay area. The facility has top notch equipment including a Pilate's machine (the real deal), sauna, and steam room. Not only do they work to improve your injuries, but they really do care. I learned exercises on the Pilate's machine that I will continue to do past my recovery. A lot of great stretching pointers and stress reduction tips. Dr. Eggert personally calls to check-in with me. The place isn't fancy, it looks like a typical doctor's office rather than day spa, which I like. The massage rooms are basic, but the massages are better than the Four Seasons Big Island, and half the price (ask for Melody). read more

Dr. Eggert and staff are professional and thorough. Best combination of Physical Therapy, Chiropractor, and massage therapy in one spot. If it wasn't for my mom nagging me to go in every time I'm back in Bay Area, I would not of budged. Never had ice, heat pad, and electro stimulation done at once before. Plus combined that with Chiropractor, other physical therapy and topped with massage therapy and recommended post stretching exercises really saw huge difference in 3 days. Top notch health care here and will return here every time I get opportunity to return to Bay Area. Tom is awesome massage therapist - one of the best (and I'm a massage therapy addict!). I love Intrahealth - both Dr. Eggert and staff. It's rare to see a doctor as compassionate, caring, and determined as her. You can really tell that she cares about helping each individual patient and each appointment never feels rushed. She really takes the time (unlike many Chiropractor offices I have been to who rush you out of there) to develop a treatment plan that will help resolve your issues in a timely manner. She caters each visit to your symptoms and how you are feeling without doing the same standard routine and procedures unlike many offices who follow a step by step rule. During my first visit, she was able to notice small issues in my skeletal/muscular structure which many doctors in the past did not take the time to analyze and notice. It's also a great plus to have a place that works on everything - massage, chirop, and physical therapy. It's too bad I had to move out of the country and can no longer seek treatment from Intrahealth, but when I was there, they greatly helped me with my low back and shoulder issues. Big thanks to Dr. Petra Eggert and her staff -- thank you Lacy! thank you Josephine! They were by my side, literally, during my recovery from a broken bone in my wrist. Once the cast was off I needed to regain strength, mobility and flexibility in the fingers, wrist and arm. I found them with a Google search, looking for a "Physical Therapist" near me in Cupertino. What I read online resonated with me, my beliefs in healing. I was there 3x/week for several weeks, then 2x/week for several weeks, and then 1x/week for a while. One thing I didn't expect was to be able to take home exercise gadgets in order to have a faster recovery. And, it worked, my recovery was pretty fast! During more than a month they unable to submit bills to insurance company. After three calls and promised callbacks I got 0. Dr Petra is very good at what she does. She is quite experienced and combines physical therapy with chiropractic techniques. However, during a session, one may only get just a few minutes of her time unless it is something unusual that is going on or one's first visit. The rest of the time you are either on the electric stimulator or doing exercises -- at times it feels like it is to wait for Dr. Petra. Her assistants are good at what they do but it would be much better if Dr Petra was able to spend at least 15 minutes of the hour with each patient. Her administrative staff are quite friendly but some of them may not always be on top of things. read more

I first visited Dr Eggert in 2012 for shoulder injury and I have been under her care since. Dr Egger has both Chiropractic and physical therapy training, so you get the best of both worlds from her. Not only did she fixed my shoulder pain, through the years she put my lower back pain caused by bulging discs under control, and helped me with numerous issue with my neck and hip. Most recently I had pain and strange tingling feeling around my left ankle. I was very concerned since I've had two ankle bone fractures before. The cost of going to see specialist would be thousands, but Dr. Eggert magically provided relief through tendon massage. I can't recommend Dr. Eggert enough! read more

Such an amazing place! I always looked forward to my appointments with Dr. Eggert and her lovely staff. They are welcoming, attentive, and experienced. I started seeing Dr. Eggert because I had neck and upper back pain associated with working long hours at home and having poor posture and sleeping wrong. What I really liked about Dr. Eggert is that she's extremely attentive and took the time to understand everything about me. She's extremely inquisitive and asks the right questions. I felt very cared for during all of my sessions. During every session I learned something new that would help with my pain. For example, different exercises to try throughout the day, a new pillow to use for sleeping, my posture while driving, my posture while sleeping, my posture while sitting, Etc. I didn't just go in there to get a quick adjustment and leave.. Dr. Eggert and her staff provide quality time with all their patients. I always left feeling MUCH better than I came, and I continued to use all of Dr. Eggerts advice and exercises throughout my week or until my next visit. I'm very impressed with the personal attention I get at Intrahealth. Dr. Eggert is a very good listener. I went to her with excruciating lower back pain not even able to bend, reach, or drive. She carefully listened to all my symptoms and diagnosed the root of the pain. Within a few sessions the pain was down to a very small spot of tenderness and I was able to resume most of my activities without pain. With Dr. Eggert's advice I finally found a comfortable position to sleep in. She also helped me fix my posture and slowly get back to my exercise routine so I can re-build my strength. The doctor is smart, friendly, knows more than her business. She is very pleasant personality as well. The hygiene , staff, explaining the problem using the drawings are excellent. Dr. Eggert is the best. Due to studying and work I get very tight and pain in my neck. After she adjusts me I instantly feel relief and rejuvenated. She not only does the minimum, but goes to the extent of telling me what I can do to improve my posture and ways to have overall better health. She is a very personable person and gets to know every one of her patients. I would refer Dr. Eggert to anyone whether it is for everyday pain or an accident. I'm a hard-core, hard-line skeptic. This is to say that I don't buy subluxations, chi, energy work, the majority of herbalism, acupuncture, "toxins", none of it. However, I'm also a dancer, so I'm very particular about how my skeleton is shaped. Sometimes my bones are in the wrong place. That's when it's time to undertake the incredibly daunting task of finding a chiro who doesn't make me want to lose my quantum stomach chi all over their crystal collection. Dr. Eggert is that kind of DC. When I made my appointment, I asked for "no grade V cervical manipulation", that being the kind of manipulation which carries the risk of debilitating injury. Not only was this respected through and through, without so much as a hint of patronization or obtuse questioning, but I think this also tipped off everyone at the office to what kind of patient they were dealing with, which they accommodated excellently. I wasn't offered a single herb or tincture, let alone one diluted out of existence, and medical discussion was confined to the modern scientific understanding of the human body. And when, after two months or so, I moved away, they referred me to another DC+PT combo. So if you're of the skeptical sort, know that this place is a rare gem of not obnoxious in the woo-woo rough.
