We paid almost 200 dollars for two people to have wine, cheese, a charcuterie and crusty bread board (optional). So about 100 bucks a person. I thought this was a reasonable value and we had such a great time. Keep in mind, this is was you make of it . . . the more questions you ask, the more you will learn. We learned about politics in cheese, cheese thievery, under-appreciated cheeses that smell like gym socks, but taste like a dream. A very laid back and congenial environment. We definitely plan on returning to shop! And they have a "girl scout and cheese pairing" class every April that I can't wait to try next year! As far as people complaining about parking, not sure what they are talking about. There is a commercial parking lot out front and the first two hours are free.

I am already plotting my return ASAP. I stopped in on a weekday afternoon and had a truly memorable experience. The cheesemonger working at the counter was knowledgable and friendly, offering great suggestions based on my cheese preferences. He was able to answer every question I had, and even offered me samples of a few different varieties (all of which I ended up purchasing). My top find from this visit was the Clothbound Cabot. This was already one of my favorite cheesemakers, but I loved being introduced to something a little different that I probably wouldn't have tried otherwise. Big thanks to the team at Grey's - I can't wait to come back and stock up on some more cheese soon!
