    Here's what $12 buys you.

I went to have lunch here based on photos on their Instagram page. They have pictures of sandwiches overflowing with meat and cheese and vegetables. When I got there I discovered that they have two sandwich offerings per day. One is vegetarian and the other is not. I ended up paying $12 for two pieces of bacon with an herb spread. Now the hard roll it was on was excellent, but I had to add a packet of cured meat to the sandwich and also bought some chips and pickled veggies. Total for lunch was around $35. Pretty steep for what I got. And I left hungry. On the positive side, it's a cute little spot and the employees were nice and welcoming. The bread they bake is excellent and I'll probably go back to buy more, but I don't think I will eat their sandwiches again. So no stars for sandwiches and four for the shop. Averages out to a two star rating.

Still dreaming about this sourdough cinnamon roll & don't get me started on how beautiful the store is. The perfect place for staples or a treat-yourself bottle of wine or sweet treat

I stumbled upon this hidden gem while I was out walking one morning. This place is easy to miss because it's in an adorable little house on the corner of 5th and Taylor. I brought my friend here today and we loved everything about Spread Market & Larder. Wines and beers galore. Pantry items that come in handy - Garza olive oil, pickles, salt, chocolate covered dried fruit, dates. Pretty much all the goodies can be found here. Homemade sourdough, baguettes, cookies, cinnamon rolls. They offer a rotating selection of sandwiches so check social media to see what they've got going on in the kitchen. What a quaint edition to the neighborhood!

We arrived just before it opened and were surprised there was a line waiting for them to open. I can understand- their sourdough bread and cinnamon rolls are out of this world!

What a cute little shop with such a wide variety of goodies to browse! There are pantry staples, refrigerated goodies like cheese and cured meats, wine, and freshly baked loaves of bread & cinnamon rolls. There's also a small area inside with tables to sit and enjoy your sandwiches! I absolutely love how they've transformed this space to feel like a very homey market. They've been selling out of their sandwiches everyday since opening a week ago, so obviously I had to try one for myself. Today's daily sandwich (you can find them in the fridge) was coppa, herb cheese, and tomato on a baguette. There's also vegetarian options! I liked the contents of the sandwich, but as a sourdough baker myself I found this bread extremely disappointing. It's fairly underproved which makes it dense and tough instead of light and airy, and there's hardly any color on the outside. I also tried the cinnamon roll which looked a lot better than the sandwich, but also a bit dense. Super generous side though and I liked how it's layered instead of a simple swirl! I will definitely be back to shop around for their pantry goods, but will pass on their sandwiches until I see some improvement on the bread.

I hate to even bring up the sourdough cinnamon rolls but they really are life changing if you can get your hands on one (only available on Sat/Sun and they go fast).

This was a great move for them, and their new location is just beautiful. It's bright and colorful, with lots of fun murals on the walls, while maintaining the same fast and fresh casual food. I am slowly working my way through their menu. While everything I've tried has been tasty, there are definitely some highlights. Their seasonal Greek Signature, for example, is probably my new favorite. It's full of flavor and the perfect balance of Mediterranean ingredients. I also love their new wraps - especially the BBQ Chicken and the Chicken Caesar. Finally, this location has a FroYo machine! It's just under $5 for a generous cup of frozen yogurt, and then you can add on toppings for a small charge as well. My husband I dined in last night and decided to share some, and it was a hit! It's definitely more on the tart side than the sweet side, making it a nice treat when you're eating healthy. Service is fast and friendly (just like at the other Radish locations). There is some free street parking available, along with lot behind the restaurant that they validate for inside!

The concept was like a Chipotle-style restaurant, but the bowl was so fresh and hearty. They had a lot of great options, and I got their Mexican Street Corn Caesar Grain Bowl with half spring mix and half grains.

While I am a dedicated Kroger shopper, ALDI is my go-to for many items now! This particular ALDI…read moreis location on Gallatin Avenue in the Eastland neighborhood of East Nashville. It is in good shape, plenty of parking and is always clean. However, like most ALDI location, be prepared for stock carts throughout the store that are actively being worked when the checkout lines slow down. My favorite parts of ALDI are always the outer aisles. The veggies/fruits, breads, cheese/meats, frozen, and of course the wine! If you want to make a killer and affordable charcuterie board, ALDI is the absolute best place to pick up all the goods, even the crackers! I usually do most of my middle aisle shopping at Kroger due to selection, but the meats, cheeses, breads and wine pretty much always come from ALDI! In addition, the variety of premade dips they have in the cold section, along with pizzas, pastas, etc...always come in clutch! I will pick up fruits/veggies on occasion, and are always happy with the prices. I more so pick up salad stuff as I do not do enough to get bulk fruits/veggies too often. Service is always decent here. The lines always seem to be backed up, but relief is never too far away. Overall, I am definitely a fan of ALDI and this location! Oh, and just an FYI - It is ALDI's policy to "lend" you a quarter for a cart if you do not happen to have one!

"Towards Town" means if you follow Gallatin road eventually you hit "Town" or what is affectionately known as Downtown Nashville. It is always busy but you never have to wait long, the lines go fairly quickly. Any time I have needed any assistance they have been more than happy to help. I Though what you need to understand is it is a busy store so you're not going to be pampered and treated like royalty. You are one of hundreds or even thousands. Keep that in mind and you won't have any issues. I love the alternating inventory so every trip is a new adventure. If you come here or to any Aldi make sure to hit up the Aldi Limited Finds aisle for some great deals on cool stuff. It changes from week to week so if you see something you like, you have to get it then or it will be gone the next time you visit. If you enjoy beer and wine, this location has a large selection that is very affordable and quite impressive. Of course, be prepared to bag your own groceries and have that quarter ready for the buggy. This is universal to all Aldi's across the world and I like bagging my own things so it has never bothered me. There is always plenty of parking and it's easy to get in and out of at one of two exits that have a light. Making it easier to turn in and turn out of the parking lot. Nothing worse than having to search for a parking spot after fighting traffic just to get into it.
