We tried a cheese board and it was delicious. Knowledgeable friendly staff made the experience that much better.

I love the charcuterie, and they are very gracious about subbing when needed.

This shoulda-coulda-woulda been a 5-star review, but you can see that my rating is only 3. Let's…read morebreak it down using the following criteria: Location. Product. Convenience. Service. Backstory of sorts: We've enjoyed Olivia Olive Oil products for the past several years...but have never ordered or purchased in person. We've been fortunate in having been gifted many bottles over time, and we have enjoyed all of them. Location: Currently on Cool Springs Blvd...BUT as I found out yesterday, they are in the process of moving to downtown Franklin. That should bode well for walk-ins and increased visibility. Product: As mentioned above, they have an excellent - if not superior - selection of EVOO, Flavored Olive Oils, Vinegars, Dip bases, Mixes, and more. (Check their website.) Convenience: Walk-ins are welcome. Stop by and taste before you buy. You can also order online...BUT this is where the stars begin to fall. I ordered online over a week ago and my Credit Card was promptly charged. I received an acknowledgment that my order had been placed and then...silence. I called a day later, assuming that I could stop by the store to pick up my order. (I chose "pick up" rather than "local delivery" to avoid the $10 delivery fee (just under 6 miles - so easy trip). When I called, I spoke to a clerk who said she did not have access to the computer so she could not check my order. I said I'd check back in a day or so. And, still no email acknowledgment or other message that my order was ready for pick up...so maybe my fault? After two more unsuccessful phone calls and nearly a week later I decided to drive to the store. Walked in (with my mask on...after all, that is the local modus operandi for businesses following the "Tennessee Pledge" for business re-openings in this current health "atmosphere.") BUT I did not see a TN Pledge poster on the door...went in anyway. No one in sight so I called out a greeting and was greeted in-turn by a person who...once again, could not access my order, was confused by my request...and then I showed her the confirmation on my phone...the order detail. She promptly called the owner since my order was not available at the store...and they had already moved all the size bottles I had ordered to the new location. After some verbal back and forth it was finally decided that they would deliver my order to my home. And, indeed, it was delivered early evening ... with a brief verbal "thank you for your order"...(no mask ..., well, I wore one). I want to support local businesses; and I will do that whenever I can. The issue here is no follow up on an order that was placed according to their website instructions, no access to information over the phone or in person regarding my order; yes, they are changing locations, but there was no indication of that on their website or posted that I could see. And the cavalier attitude about otherwise generally-followed by local businesses Covid guidelines. #disappointing A brief and polite thank you note plus a small packet of Mediterranean dip mix...was included but no..."I'm sorry about the mix up or delay or..." And no charge for the delivery...this time. In this difficult time for everyone, especially business that are struggling and individuals who are more susceptible or vulnerable, it would be nice to see that common courtesy is still alive and well. Yes, I do recommend this business...and I likely will be back. But they need to do just a little bit more to earn all five stars.

I chose your shop first because I read your store had the upscale selections of infused olive oil and vinegar that I love. Last Saturday (8/3) morning, I entered your shop eager to start my day. As I entered the shop with my husband, there was a woman behind the counter. She looked up at me and I told her it was my first time in Franklin and I had chose this shop to start my day. (I was wearing black capris and a black shirt that had "celebrating My birthday shirt in Franklin", with a round button pin "it's my birthday ". She was looking at me like I needed a bath or smelled bad. Her only response in a condescending tone was "Is it really your birthday or you just wearing the shirt?". I said it was my birthday and I was celebrating it in Franklin. She did not respond. I approached the counter and saw a paper with my options. I told her I was looking for garlic or basil infused olive oil. Without changing the look on her face or her tone she asked what size? I told her the smaller size. She reached from behind the counter and placed a bottle of basil and bottle of garlic olive oil on the counter looking impatient. Since I was out of garlic EVOO that I had bought in Helen Ga. I purchased only that bottle. I asked her name as she bagged my oil. Her name was Jennifer. I told her my name was sherryl and I was happy you had my olive oil. ...... silence as we left the store. I was not welcomed, wished a good day, or even given basic store etiquette, instead I was made to feel I was a bother, and definitely not a welcomed patron. I have enjoyed the olive oil and your product is delicious. But the experience with Jennifer attempted to spoil my day and birthday. However it did not. Our next stop was the Coffee shop and ended up at Cork and Cow. Every encounter after we left your shop was positive and welcoming. We had a fabulous day in spite of how it started. I am a CVICU charge nurse in a local hospital and I counsel employees on appropriate communications with our clients and their families. I recommend Jennifer understand every person is of worth and you communicate more by what you don't say than what you do. A disappointed patron, Sherryl Isley Hooks RN

Whole Foods in general are always so refreshing to be in from the condition of the store to the cleanliness, service, fresh food and of course...the hot food stations! I have popped into this location many times over the years, sometimes for full shopping experiences, other times for a quick lunch and on occasion, for an Amazon return. Each visit is fairly effortless and stress-free. The only part that can be slightly painful is parking, and getting in and out of the place...this complex is very busy! Service is always stellar whether on the floor, behind a counter or at the registers. Overall, while I am a Kroger loyalist, I make it point to swing by this Whole Foods anytime I need...or want!

Pizza team do better. As a former small business owner, I hate to give out poor reviews…read more Unfortunately I've had multiple horrible experiences with the pizza counter and their employees. I believe this makes 5x in a row so I thought I'd step up and say something. I won't go through all of them, but here is a synopsis of the last two. My nephew had a football game at Centennial High this last fall, so we went to grab a pizza from the counter (you know how high school boys can eat). It was fairly late so they had several partial pizzas available by the slice. My wife and I tried to order a pizza and were told it was too late (really!!) so we asked if they could put together a whole pizza for the slices that were being sold "by the slice." We were also told no. I was dumbfounded, they said we had to order them by the slice only. They looked like they were sitting for a bit so I thought I was doing them a favor. Not to mention, they had what looked like four employees just conversing and on their phones. This morning my elderly parents were craving pizza so even though we have had multiple negative experiences, I thought; what the hell, we haven't tried them since last fall. I called, a woman with a kind voice answered and I thought finally a positive. I apologize for not being able to find the different pizza options on your website and she transferred me to the "ready to eat" counter. Unfortunately, they weren't ready to answer the phone because after several minutes on hold we were hung up on. If this was just a one time occurrence I would be fine but this seems to be their common practice. Customer facing employees must have better customer service. I will just grab a few pizzas from another place, I don't know if this is a reflexion on Whole Foods or just that Ready to Eat crew. Either way we probably won't be back for a while.
