We came in late on a Tuesday, and didn't realize they were closing soon. They still told us to get seated and that it was enough time for us to order something. We ordered the chicken wings, ramen and curry. The interior was very beautiful and service was kind. The chicken wings were flavorful and crunchy. The curry was tasty and filling. The ramen was very disappointing. The broth had a weird aftertaste and it was a clear broth with no seasoning. This is not the place for ramen unfortunately. They were kind enough to take it back because even my partner said it tasted very off. I hope it was a bad batch.. but everything else seemed decent.

The service was good and the food was flavorful! I love that they have a separate vegan menu as it makes it much easier to navigate. When I went for lunch the place was not very busy so if you are looking for less of a crowd that is a great time to stop by!

Silom 12 is in my neighborhood, but it took 6 years for me to finally try it. Most of the reviews seemed promising, and the pictures looked good. It was already late, so we wanted to order somewhere that would arrive quickly. While it did arrive within 20 mins, the food was hot, and everything was packaged nicely, we weren't satisfied. The food is just okay. The Silom Wings were quite fatty and only the breading had flavor. The Baby Egg Rolls were boring, but fine. The Panang Curry was the best item we ordered, flavorful. The Pad Woon Sen had potential- too salty, but the ingredients/quality was good. Overall, if we need a quick delivery, we would consider, but it won't be our first choice.

Drunken noodle - 3/5 ( won't order again, I wish it had more flavor, it was bland for my taste) Panang curry - 4/5 ( good curry!) Will try other stuff soon!

Wtf Silom? I order from you all the time. Who made this Tom kha? Is this Tom kha? Am I in an alternate reality? It had no kaffir or galangal or lemongrass flavor. Do you have a new chef? This isn't right.

Used the Yelp app to place a pickup order tonight and was excited to try a few things. First off, everyone who raved about the crab Rangoon -- you're the best! They are so crispy and creamy at the same time. Best!!! Then I got stir fried broccoli with veggies and it was a surplus of al dente veggies however the brown sauce was more like brown water. Was really hoping for that brown sauce at Chinese restaurants but was disappointed. Orange chicken though was also very good. Chicken was lightly breaded and in a perfectly citrus sauce. Thai fried rice was lack luster needing soy sauce and the extra chili sauce from the crab Rangoon. Had less of a "fried" texture but we are open to trying the other fried rices in the future. All in all it felt like a much healthier alternative to traditional Chinese or Thai takeout which we appreciated and will return for.

Girls Evening out. Delicious food, great service and tasty cocktails. Thank you!

Delicious food, relaxing environment during the early hours, and great service as well. Definitely a spot to stop by for a drink and a few plates with friends or family

Cute little fried wonton purses, get two orders. Trust me.

I ordered the karaage chicken nuggets and chicken and veggie dumplings, while my friend ordered the nuggets and fried chicken bun. Everything came out quickly and hot. The chicken nuggets were meaty and flavorful, and the sauce really elevated the dish. The fried dumplings were packed with vegetables and had a great texture. My friend enjoyed her fried chicken bun the most. She loved how soft the bun was and thought the sauce on the sandwich really brought everything together. We did have a little hiccup at the end of our meal. We waited for the bill for a while before flagging down our server, only to find out that the bill was connected to the QR code in the booth. I actually think that's a really cute and convenient concept, but it would be helpful if guests were told about it when they're seated or when the food is delivered. It would definitely save guests from sitting around wondering when their check is coming. Overall, another enjoyable experience at Ramen-San.

It's a very casual spot and honestly, it's a great place to bring someone on a new date. My friend and I decided to grab ramen on a rainy day, and despite not having reservations and the restaurant being quite busy, we were surprisingly seated pretty quickly. I ordered the TanTan-San and added Chicken Chashu and I wish I didn't. I did not enjoy the chicken at all, it had a very slimy texture. I also substituted the regular noodles for the gluten free noodle (+$1). Overall, the meal was just okay. The server was attentive at first and after our food was delivered we never saw him. He never came back to check in on us or anything. My ramen overall was pretty good, had a ton of veggies and flavor with a bit of kick which I always enjoy. I personally think there are better ramen spots in chicago, unfortunately, this was not it for me.

The Alaskan cod sandwich was served on a bed of cabbage covered in a sweet teriyaki & brown mustard sauce with maybe a squeeze of kewpie sprinkled in between. For the main attraction I ordered the spicy garlic ramen that was such a delightful mouth experience it really hit all the taste buds! The noodles were perfectly bouncy with the right amount of chew. The jellied egg was perfect and rounded the soup very well! The red chili threads enhanced the spicy miso broth just enough to slurp all the delicious goodness down! My husband ordered the Sapporo miso soup which had more of a creamy type of broth vs the spicy garlic. The noodles were also thinner than regular ramen & had a bouncy springy texture that just hit the spot! Since it was kinda chilly outside we also ordered hot green tea to accompany our spectacular ramen dishes. This place also offers delicious seasonal cocktails on the menu or hot sake if that's what you are hankering for. Definitely try this ramen joint if you are in the Logan square area your tummy will be so happy that you did!!

Watching an employee use their bare hands and mouth on food that was then served to a customer was extremely concerning and completely unacceptable from a food safety and hygiene standpoint. I was skeptical when I first heard the name Monster Ramen. All my previous personal experiences…read morehave always proven to me that restaurants with names that don't represent their culture in distinct ways are generally subpar. For example, I would usually never even think to step into a restaurant named Best China House, Sushi Bistro, or Mom's Korean Restaurant. (Apologies if your shops are named as such. These were meant to be generic examples) Oh, how times have changed. I would have never thought having a bowl of ramen at a Monster Ramen would give me this much pleasure. Part of it will (in fact, most of it) be on me and my general philosophy on fusion cuisine and outdated gemerational gap. There was definitely a time when avoiding agorementioned type of restaurants may have been deemed smart. But I feel the new generation of restaurant owners and chefs have up'd their games in not only at better food making, but also accepting of a bit more irony. Anyone who knows me knows how much I stay away from trying anything "fusion." It's kinda funny to myself how hypocritical it is that I would be totally okay in substituting an ingredient or two when I'm missing some when cooking, but when it comes to paying money to sit and eat that I would judge chefs by thier style of cooking. Yes, a big part of it is based on a large pool of personally gathered data, but I do acknowledge that I need to open myself up a bit more. Case in point. I was recommended MR by a fellow Yelper and I decided to give it a whirl. I happened to have a friend and his son with me, so I was able to do small tastings of 3 different ramen. And boy, was I pleasantly surprised. We collectively had bowls of shio, shoyu and miso specials. Plus, I ended up getting the Summer Special bowl to go for my wife. All of them had their individual charm to them but more importantly, each of them were made to perfection when it came to broth seasoning and noodle texture, which are THE two most important aspect of ramen, in my opionion. Not too salty nor bland soup. Perfectly dense noodles. I just loved all four! It wad when I tasted the yuzu in tgeir shio ramen that my wife would love it. Even though I brought her the spicy Sunmer version home, I still think it'll be worth bringing her and our daughter back when we get a chance to. Our server Dionne (I think) was most pleasant and helpful. The atmosphere of the restaurant was great, too. It helped that I came before the dinner rush, although, I can also see more lively vibe being nice as well. Will be back with the fam definitely!
