Inside, when you walk in to the left there's a small casino area, the restaurant bar is in the middle, and if you're not into sitting at the bar there are dining tables as well. My Cousin and I decided to grab a bite to eat at SiverDollar to see how much the menu changed since the remod and being under new management. The menu seems to be geared more towards Mexican food but they do have other options. I got the chicken strips and fries. My cousin ordered the Salmon with a Ceasars Salad mashed potatoes. The chicken pieces were huge, you get 3 and they tasted pretty good. My cousin didn't really like her Salmon but she enjoyed the salad. Will we return, maybe not. Don't get me wrong or waitress was awesome and went above and beyond servicing us. So we decided to use the restroom before leaving and while I was in the stall I over hear my Cousin yelling another woman " None of your business " as I'm leaving my stall I ask what is the problem? The white woman proceeded to ask my Cousin stupid questions instead of just asking is anyone in the stall. I then realized she was intoxicated and told my Cousin let's go. Now here is the kicker....As we are headed out walking to the car one of the workers, a young black woman, approaches us asking what's the problem. We both looked at each other and continued walking to the car. Then the young woman says why did we start all the commotion. Needless to say we defended ourselves. She continued to say things that were out of line and unnecessary. Mind you we didn't start anything and were leaving, she followed us outside and to our car. I'm going to leave this if you decide to stay after work and get drunk with the customers that's your business but don't insert yourself in others issues while at work. Great happy hour specials as well as 50% two drinks with your boarding pass. You must have your boarding pass for them to apply this offer. It's dark inside and there were a few really drunk men late afternoon. They were getting really loud! I grabbed some food to go and just had a glass of wine while I waited for my food. If those guys were not as drunk as they were I would have stayed to eat my food and have another glass of wine. I ordered chicken strips and they are very basic chicken strips but they were massive. I gave this place a 1 because it's the lowest I could rate but personally I rate it at least a negative 35. I came in as an aviation's employee because they offer a discount and it was walking distance from my hotel. I regret wasting my time and money. I ordered the Korean barbecue wings which actually had a pretty good flavor and that's where the good things ended. I honestly didn't expect much based off of how the facility looked in general, but my server may need to consider a new career. At first, she seemed OK. It didn't take her very long to take my order and she was friendly enough. Until she forgot about me. The issue occurred after I received my food, and one of the items was cold. I didn't say anything because I didn't want to risk waiting even longer after witnessing the wait time for other patrons and their dissatisfaction. Specifically from the server who wasn't helping me. Now, normally when you dine in at a restaurant, your server comes back to check on you a few times before you're ready for your check. This server who didn't even bother to provide me with her name and never came to my table a single time after dropping my food off. It was a petite older African American woman with reddish brown braids and glasses. I'm only providing a description since she never told me her name and I want it to be known who it was. I am also an African American woman so this description is purely educational. Initially, I decided to let it slide because I was finishing my happy hour vodka and club soda but after about 15 minutes, I was ready to go. Unfortunately, no one paid any attention to me. Neither my server or any of the other two servers there who walked past me repeatedly without acknowledging my existence. One server mingled with some of her friends who dined in and was about 15 feet away from me several times, and she also ignored me. The only reason I sat there so long without walking over to the bar is because I really honestly wanted to see how long it would take to get my check without asking. In the end, I waited 45 additional minutes to get my check, then it was further delayed after getting the runaround in regard to my aviation discount. Eventually I left my table and walked to the bar and I got the attention of a different server who after about five minutes, got the attention of my server who then directed me to someone else to get my discount. I expressed my concerns to this gentleman out of pure frustration, and he was pretty understanding, but this service was unbelievably unacceptable and this is coming from someone who currently works in Customer Service. After a lackluster meal, being completely disregarded and ignored as a paying customer, having to wait even longer just to pay my tab, once my server took my card. She then told me the computer was not working so she could not apply my discount. She was unable to deduct the amount from my card so instead she gave me my discount amount back in cash and slammed it down on the bar because she's having a bad day. The gentleman who helped me with my aviation discount, witnessed me waiting an additional 10 minutes after speaking with him, and he came over to express his apologies, asked for my name, and told me I can come in tomorrow if I wanted to, and he would take care of everything. Everyone except this gentleman needs serious training in how to treat the general public. If you enjoy lackluster food and being treated like garbage, this is the place to go to. read more

Got Chinese - Combo Fried Rice, General Tso's Chicken, Fried Prawns and Fried Chicken. BIG portions of food! Pretty tasty for the most part, but some seasoning and flavoring could have been better. The chicken in the fried rice was too salty, though... And the General Tso's Chicken was not spicy at all, tasted more like Orange Chicken. Besides those minor things, it was fine. Had fish and chips fish was really good fries were great, had chicken tenders which is actually large pieces of thinly cut breast of chicken that didn't look frozen. They do a special menu (in addition to their regular menu) every couple of months and when I went they had a New Orleans style creole menu-and it was amazing. It is a sports bar casino but you can eat at tables not close to either of those things if you want. Especially good since really only place in the immediate area to the hotel. The staff here is not very friendly, they'll keep harassing you about wearing a mask even if you have a cold beverage in your hand. The rule is, you can take a sip of whatever you're drinking but the mask will have to be immediately put back on or you'll get harassed. This will be my last visit here. Stopped in while waiting for our flight, wanted to play some blackjack for an hour or two and they had 1 table open so we asked if they could open another one, pit boss said yes but she was super rude the whole time, dealers were super rude, the bartender was the only nice one in the joint! We were told if we stay until 1pm we could spin the wheel for a free play match play if we provide our IDs and sign up for text notifications so we did and 1pm rolled around and the pit boss said it's only for the player in the center with the most points that hour, not what we were told! We also saw a sign out front that said show your Alaska boarding pass to get $100 match play, didn't get that either so we left. Don't advertise things that you don't follow through on! If you guys didn't tell us about the wheel we wouldn't have cared and would've stayed but we didn't want to spend another dime in that place with the lack of customer service and straight up lies! This casino has always been one of the best in the Seattle area! I have always loved the dealers, servers, bartenders, and cooks. I noticed recently that the servers and bartenders are so overworked. And I can't help but blame Maverick. They are a large casino company, with unlimited resources, but they can't even give a single mom a relief to go to the bathroom or have a break for a meal. On busy Saturday nights (holiday weekend) they have one bartender and one server expected to serve over 100 patrons without relief. It's wrong. Maverick, I know you have the resources and the money to support these hard working (and I can't help but notice they are women) employees. Do better please. read more
