Reserve your tickets online and you'll get seated about an hour before the show starts. Seating is folding tables and chairs so not the most comfortable but that's not what you are here from. If everyone arrives all at once it can take a bit to get served but once you do they are friendly and prompt. The food is not expensive and pretty good - I've had the breakfast burrito and the BLT. The mixed drinks are surprisingly sophisticated and delicious! Get dollar bills from the cashier and get ready for the show! About two hours of drag from talented, hard working, fun and funny queens. They recently started showing ufc ppv. Plenty of availability in seating even during big fight cards. Great price in food and drinks. However, as the crowd started coming in, it was obvious that the place was severely understaffed. The food took over an hour because they were hosting a big event in the same establishment next door. Food was good though, they have regular bar food as well as some Asian stuff on the menu. The patrons there aren't great, a bit janky and disrespectful. The people in front of us at the line to order drinks just stayed there and took selfies instead of moving aside to let people behind them order. Came here for the Royal Flush Queens are Wild drag brunch. It was a good time. The ladies started a little later than expected but we had a larger group so it all worked out. The show was pretty good. I'll say my favorite was the Latina who performed Private Dancer by Tina Turner. For brunch, I had the Cobb salad which was really delicious. We had the carafe of mimosas but I watched the bartender pour them and the way she did caused mostly bubbles when pouring the champagne so it definitely wasn't a good juice to bubbly ratio. I just celebrated my birthday with a group of ladies here for brunch and the show and we were EXTREMELY delighted! If you want to go to a place with no service, go to the (un)Great American! Seriously, we went there for lunch and left two hours later without any food. I'm not sure what the story was, but it was really an appalling experience and we won't be back! That's too bad, because we used to enjoy meeting my husband's parents there for lunch. The Great American Casino seems to be under new management and is back to offering early morning specials. The food is better than before though at slightly higher prices. I was served by Chau (sp?) who was polite and attentive. As a graveyard worker I love being able to get fried rice or a burger with a beer at 0700; these guys are the best at filling that need. One of the men got up and started to walk towards the entrance when his gun fell out of his pocket and landed on the floor. Been coming here for breakfast and lunch for a few years. Since it's during working hours no beers for me but they do have a full bar with lots of good micro beers on tap. Their happy hour runs from 2-5 (wish it was longer). The food is always good and so is the service. Great American is one of four casinos in that area. It's the biggest and cleanest out of those casinos. I go there because they offer a $25 match play for every visit (24 hours). Otherwise, it's not all that great. The staff is not very friendly. If you're in the area, just walk next door to the Riverside casino. They have cheap beer and all kinds of drink specials. They also offer $25 match play, great Chinese food, very generous with the comps, and at 2 am the dim sum is free. We came here for the Royal Flush Queens are Wild drag brunch. If the review was only for the drag queens, it would have received a 5 star rating. The lower rating is for the process. The show is advertised to start at noon, but they make you stand in the crowded lobby until 12:30pm before they let you in. That means everyone is seated at once, so it takes about 45 minutes for them to come around and get your drink and food order. We could have been sipping mimosas during that wait. There were four of us and we all ordered food (it was really good also). The food for one of the couples arrived about 20 minutes before the food for the other couple, although we ordered at the same time. The servers were great, they were just overwhelmed by the inefficient system set up by the management. Let people in at noon so the servers can take orders when people arrive, rather than try to take 80 drink and food orders at once. Again, the drag queens were great. The show was really fun, but marred a bit by the frustration with the food and drink service. read more
